My New Years resolution was to try and read books I’ve been hauling.
So here’s one.

Tania is a ballerina.
She’s worked hard to escape the Soviet Union.

Jared is a recluse. He’s also protected by men from the Government.

I’m guessing he’s the bees knees in looks and sex appeal too!

Anyways, he sees her dancing and he becomes obsessed by her. His bodyguards see this and arrange to kidnap her for his enjoyments (sigh)

She tried hard to escape.
Then there’s a 109% turn around. She thinks he’s a lonely soul and not “that” bad after all.

Don’t get me started on the bed scene. My freezer has better excitement!

I sound a bit harsh I know, but I have read one other book by this author which I enjoyed.

This one. I need to forget.

This one wasn't up to the level of the other books I've read by Johansen. It is an earlier one, so shows how much she has grown as a writer since then.
