Entertaing story about two sisters, Amber and Ava, being swept into Ava's favorite board game,
Sweet Treats Kingdom. When Ava is kidnapped by the evil queen, Amber must figure out how to save
her and return home. Along the way, Amber is helped by the sweet inhabitants of the kingdom.
A mix of Candyland and Alice in Wonderland.

This book will make an absolutely wonderful bedtime story for any young fan of Candy Land, princesses and fairy tales. I especially loved the nod to Disney's Frozen (read it to find out).
While the dialogue and story are fairly simple, a young girl and her 5-year-old sister get sucked into the 5-year-olds' favorite board game and are tasked with breaking a curse to save the kingdom from the supposedly "evil" Queen Frosting.
My thanks to TouchPoint Press and Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This book was delightful.
This is a sweet children's fiction novel that will likely appeal mostly to elementary age kids. The story is fantastical and fun enough to appeal to younger children, but the conflict and resolution was a bit simplistic and would probably not satisfy most middle grade readers. Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC of this title.
