Audio: 5/5
Book: 3.5/5
I had a great time with this book! I didn’t want to stop listening (credit to the excellent narrator), and I had many chuckles while reading. The narration really brought Hannah and her chaos to life.
Brief synopsis: When Hannah is out of a job and a relationship she heads home to her family, baby in tow, to help them set up a holiday rental. The sexy, hippy neighbour is a bonus she wasn’t expecting.
Things I liked:
- The millennial humour and relatable dialogue in this was perfect. There was a line about having a 1/3 life crisis by making your own sourdough and buying an android phone that made me laugh out loud.
- River was quite the dreamboat book boyfriend. Capable. Hot. A unicorn for us single mums out there haha
- The family dynamics and Hannah’s perception of her family were a great plotline that I was invested in
- This book had a realistic depiction of life with a baby - although there was a lot of nipple play for a breastfeeding mum during the spicy scenes. I was stressing hard about a milk let down ruining the mood!
Things I didn’t like:
- It was a little Insta-lovey. I didn’t quite understand River and Hannah’s fast connection
- I actually didn’t understand why both men in the book liked Hannah. She was a little judgmental at times, and rude.
In short: this was high quality and very entertaining. I’d recommend this to those who enjoy contemporary romance, and I’d recommend the audiobook format.

I really enjoyed this audio & story! I loved the representation in this book as well. The strength and growth of Hannah throughout the story was believable and relatable! The banter and inner dialogue was so good! I was giggling throughout this audio.
I would recommend this audio to several friends!

In Hannah Tate, Beyond repair, Hannah is reeling after being abandoned by her boyfriend, and newborn son’s father. After moving to the mountains with her mother and stepfather, she reinvents herself, opening an Airbnb, and finds a connection with her new neighbour, River.
I didn’t find Hannah or River particularly loveable, and got frustrated at times at their self indulgence and lack of accountability. However, I found the writing engaging, and enjoyed the story overall. I really liked the mountainous setting and the airbnb storyline. I loved Hannah’s friends, and how protective and supportive they were. This was a nice cosy read, and I enjoyed it as a palette cleanser between more heavy reads. 3.5 stars rounded up.
The narrator was really great. She brought the characters to life, and portrayed the emotions of the characters beautifully. I’d highly recommend reading this one as audiobook.
Thank you Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed are my own.

The underlying political tones of this book made me not like it quite as much. The plot was good but around every corner the author tossed in what I can only assume is her view on politics, which is her right, but I don’t have to like it and I didn’t.
🌀Synopsis
Hannah finds and an engagement ring and is sure her baby daddy, Killian, is going to propose. When he takes her for a fancy dinner and tells her he wants to co-parent their child she leaves. She packs up and moves back in with her mom and stepdad.
Her mom and stepdad have moved to the mountains and want to open up their cabin as an AirBnB. So Hannah takes on the project with the help of her handsome neighbor, River. Throughout the experience she learns so much about friends, family, and what she truly wants in life. She’s not the only one learning though, River and Killian had a lot to learn too!

I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator was fantastic.
This book centers around Hannah, a bisexual, single mother, who moves in with her parents in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
She is not single at the beginning of the book so the first 15-20% focuses on her and Killian, who is the father of her son.
I thought this was pretty interesting, because most of the single mother romances I’ve read in the past, usually involve the mother of the child getting back together with the father of the child and I liked that this book didn’t conform to that.
I definitely feel like this book is a combination of women’s fiction and romance, because while the romance is a large part of the story. It kind of felt a little secondary to everything else.
I really enjoyed this book and I really liked Hannah and the side characters and I thought it was a fun story.
My main reason for only giving it four stars because I just felt it was a little bit heavy on the drama. There was drama with her ex, drama with her parents, drama with her friends, drama with her Airbnb, drama with the hero of the story, etc. Just so much freaking drama.
I was also a little irritated by the fact that to me, it was clear from the minute the character of Madison was introduced that she was going to be the person sabotaging the Airbnb so the fact that it was drug out throughout the entire book was so excruciating. It made me really question Hannah‘s judgment that she didn’t figure it out sooner.
The whole drinking alcohol while breast-feeding argument was honestly so weird to me. Two different characters in two completely different parts of the book aggressively, had to defend what they felt about this,(their opinion was that it is fine to consume alcohol while breastfeeding) and it just felt weirdly personal to the author like maybe she’s had to have this conversation a lot in her life. I don’t have kids and I don’t plan on having kids so I really don’t have an opinion on this, but it just felt really strange and like the author wanted you to agree with her and I could have done without it.
I received an ALC (advanced listening copy) from dreamscape media in exchange for an honest review.
CW: mentions of homophobia, heart attack, mentions of rough pregnancy, including seizures and pre-eclampsia.

It was a great read or audiobook, the narrator's voice was energetic and engaging. Had great emotional moments, spicy scenes, and was very humorous. My favorite combination.

First thanks to Netgalley for this audio.I am so not an aduio kind if bookworm. I prefer to actual read a book, not to lisen, but this was really fun. It was a cute book. And the adio was really okay

I laughed, swooned, fell in love & spent way too long looking at cabins for sale while reading Hannah Tate, Beyond Repair! This is such a beautiful ode to family (both bio and found), finding yourself in the fog of motherhood, starting over and reclaiming your strength. 10/10 recommend!

Hannah Tate, Beyond Repair grabbed me from the first sentence and I really enjoyed the audiobook.
I loved seeing how Hannah changed and learned to love herself during the book and the fact she is a woman in her 30's raising a baby made me really relate to her. I'm a single mother of twins and I felt like the author showed us how hard it is for Hannah to be a mother and still find time for herself both romantically and career wise.
The chemistry between River and Hannah was instant and very strong but they are very different people so it was a bumpy ride for them and Hannah ex-boyfriend drama made everything harder.
I loved the home renovation part of the story and the secondary characters really added to the story, mainly Hannah's friends, her mom and step dad and of course her son.
It was refreshing to read about a mother that talks about the hardship of raising a small baby basically alone and isn't perfect.

Hannah Tate Beyond Repair is a contemporary romance about finding who you truley are and what makes you happy and putting your wants and needs first. This isn't as much as a roamance as it suggest. Yes there is some but its a sub plot. I enjoyed the writing and Hannah herself was funny and was a great mom. What My issues were the Plot I felt like I was going through the motions and it was long in the middle and some of the logic of the side characters choices and If I was her I'd pick just me and the baby.
Thank you NetGally for this Audio-Arc in exchange for my honest review.

A small town novel about motherhood, finding yourself and falling in love again. I feel like the romance was forced. The storyline held its own without needing the romance. The writing had me laughing. Very relatable.

Fun to listen to, almost DNF but decided against it. Cute- will end up picking up the book and really reading it if available not just audio book <3

Hannah Tate's world gets turned upside down when she stumbles upon an engagement ring in her closet, only to have her dreams dashed when her boyfriend, Killian, reveals he's not proposing but breaking up with her instead. Heartbroken, but determined to bounce back, she moves into her parent's cabin in Blue Ridge, GA with her three-month-old baby, Bowie, seeing an opportunity to help out her mom by giving the place a makeover. Despite the cabin's questionable decor and the daunting task of renovation, Hannah sees it as an adventure and hires the charming carpenter, River, to join her on this wild ride. As she embraces the laughter and challenges of her new chapter, Hannah begins to realize that sometimes the best plans are the ones you never saw coming.
Laura Piper Lee's debut novel, Hannah Tate, is a genuinely hilarious and brilliantly crafted story that offers a perfect blend of humor and wit. With a slow-burning romance that sizzles off the pages, the narrative fearlessly explores the complexities of new motherhood and the journey of embracing new relationships as a single mom. The author takes us on a heartwarming adventure of self-discovery and resilience, where Hannah Tate's relatable and authentic character shines through, making her story both honest and enjoyable. Lee celebrates the strength of the human spirit and the potential for second chances, while also delving into the intricacies of repairing family dynamics. I can't wait to read more of Laura Piper Lee's work after this stunning debut.

Hannah Tate, a new mother navigating the tumultuous waters of sleepless nights, heartbreak, and unexpected unemployment. Lee's writing effortlessly combines humor, wit, and a touch of predictability, creating a delightful escape from the mundane. As Hannah rebuilds her life by starting an AirBnB business in her childhood home, readers are treated to a heartwarming journey of self-discovery, resilience, and the possibility of new beginnings. While the plot may follow a familiar trajectory, Lee infuses it with enough charm and genuine emotion to keep readers thoroughly entertained. A perfect choice for fans of contemporary romance seeking a feel-good read with a sprinkle of laughter and hope.
Special thanks to NetGalley, Laura Piper Lee, and Dreamscape Media for providing the audiobook for review; my thoughts are entirely my own.

This book has me so emotional! Kelli Tager's narration got me laughing with Laura Piper Lee's incredibly energetic voice, and I felt all the mom moments deeply. The feeling of being alone while you're in a relationship, somehow realizing you're less alone when you're actually alone, having to break it all down to build back up again - love the way this all plays out in the story. Thank you so much for the chance to listen early.

I came across this audiobook and immediately requested for it coz LOOK HOW CUTE THE COVER IS!
With my crazy work days, audiobooks have become my bff and I’m glad I picked this one. I binged this during my 9-5 and the best part was that it was really easy to follow while multitasking.
The story revolves around Hannah- a chaotic mum of a new born who is trying to navigate her life postpartum. I honestly adored her character because she seems very very real. Her love and protectiveness over Bowie (her baby) is so cute and I loved how she inspite of all her quirks and crazy, has the strength to take things into her own hands for her kid’s future. River on the other hand, is absolutely stunning and so so perfect for her! I loved their relationship and the whole small town vibe. The side characters are pretty amazing and the narrators have all done a brilliant job at bringing them to life!
If you’re looking for a fun, laugh out loud and swoony read, this one’s for you!

5 ⭐️ I LOVED this book!! Hannah Tate, Beyond Repair is an absolute treasure of a story. I don’t even know how to appropriately put into words how much I needed this book (and had no idea going into it!). I laughed out loud, swooned, and related like crazy (despite not being a single mother).
This is a fun, lighthearted, comical fluffy romance following Hannah Tate, a recently single mother of a young baby who moves in with her mom and stepdad in their cabin in the Georgia mountains. On the one hand, it seems like her life is falling apart, but on the other it’s just beginning as she takes on a massive renovation project at her parents… and begins to fall for the literal boy next door who just so happens to be a carpenter and live in a (yes, truly) actual treehouse. She has to navigate all the life changes, emotions, and strange family dynamics of her new situation.
The biggest downside? This is the author’s debut book so I can’t immediately go binge more of her writing. I highly recommend this book, especially the audiobook version! The narrator, Kelli Tager, might be one of my favorites I’ve listened to, especially for this genre!
Thank you to NetGalley, Dreamscape Media, and Laura Piper Lee for the free audio ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Hannah Tate has recently had a baby, Bowie, with a partner who doesn’t appreciate her, talks down to her, isn’t there for her and Bowie, and is just overall not a match at all, yet she wants so badly to make the relationship work. I will admit I had trouble getting into this book, since over 10% is spent following this pair even though you know from the synopsis he’s going to break up with Hannah. I’m glad I stuck with it, since this book does a great job combining the rom and com, and Hannah is an incredibly realistic FMC who just doesn’t quite have her mess together but really wants to. When the literal treehouse residing, yoga doing, carpenter MMC, River helps renovate the AirBNB Hannah’s parents have, the story moved more in the direction I was hoping for when reading the synopsis and picturing an HGTV romance. Following Hannah as she tries to figure out the future she hadn’t imagined was really enjoyable, and I really enjoyed the audiobook narrator! The quirky small town side characters were also a highlight of this book, and I will absolutely read the next book from Laura Piper Lee, especially if set in this world (romance for Zoe, please!).

I was a little skeptical to listen to this book because, at the beginning, it was giving me a cheating trope, and I'm happy I continued on because it doesn't have that trope at all.
Hannah Tate is a single mom who moves back home with her mom and step-dad! Hannah Tate is a character. I had a love-hate relationship! I love her inner monologue. She will have you giggling, but then she will also piss you off, too, for making it seem like it's everybody's faults, and she takes no accountability for her actions. But overall, this is a good read and the narrator did a GREAT JOB !
♡Thank you Netgalley for the ALC for my honest opinion.
