I’m not the biggest fan of the main character who is determined to have a family for her son once her “baby daddy” dumped her, but wanted them to continue to live together. After moving in with her parents she she starts to fall for the neighbor, as he help to renovate her parent BnB, after getting closer to her ex and keeping her current fling a secret it all back fires on her when he ex purposes to her while begging her to come back. After her stepfather has a heart attack and her boyfriend wasn’t home she looses it on him the next time she sees him. She finally grows up a bit and starts to decide what she wants after a much needed heart to heart with her mother. River comes back to help her find who was behind crashing her Airbnb account. I found the mfc to be a little whiny and soo is me, and expecting everyone to take care of her problems, and complains about everyone else no doing things “correctly”
The whole time throughout the audiobook you can hear airplanes fly overhead.

This novel had so many unexpected twists and turns that I was pleasantly surprised and truly didn't have any idea how it would end.
Hannah Tate is a witty, new mom and such a fun main character to see come into her own, putting a harassing boss in his place, navigating a newborn as a (practically) single mother, maintaining the peace in her friendships and dealing with her well-thought-out romantic life plan being redirected a number of times. I enjoyed her growth and healing as a main character.
The audio narration of this book was really well done, and I was fully engrossed in the wild and messy ride of all these real and eccentric characters.

This audiobook was super cute and adorable, and I found myself getting sucked in immediately. What a cute and swoon-worthy story!

I LOVED this one! Such a stunning debut.
It was a perfect cozy small-town romance. And the spice? It was SPICIN'.
This was the perfect example of an "easy read" which I flew through in less that 24 hours, was super funny and left me feeling all warm and wonderful. Perfect romance for Valentines season!

Cute story about a kind of found family and friends. Sweet single mom story.
I didn’t particularly like any of the characters, especially the male characters

Thank you Netgalley and dreamscape media for the alc. My opinions are my own. I can see myself rereading this and will discover something else I love. There's lots to keep track of the authorndid a good job in laying put the book characters and situations. I am not a dan of miscommunication but can see why it worked here.
Suggest giving it a try

I loved Hannah (FMC). She’s fun, smart, charming, and you really feel for her throughout the book. I think I would have enjoyed the book more without the romance, but everything wrapped up with a cute bow. Worth a read and listen (the narrator was a lot of fun).
I received an ARC from Netgalley and the publisher.

I went into the book only knowing next to nothing. Single parent trope is one of my absolute favorite tropes and this book did it right!! The romance was so cute, there were a few moments where i just wanted to shake both of them and i really wanted to know more about why exactly Killian is the way he is but i overall enjoyed their relationship.
I love when there are family dynamics in romance books, it just overall helps me figure out the characters and connect more to them. There was so much family dynamics in here, and they weren’t perfect. They were complicated family dynamics that reminded me a bit of my family.

I love fiction that incorporates humor in it!
Poor Hannah Tate, she thinks her long time boyfriend is going to propose when she finds a ring, but instead he wants to break up... oh and she just had their first baby! Ugh!
She moves back to her parents house and ends up meeting a WONDERFUL man who shows her how special she is. While the female character is supposed to be bisexual, we really don't get any moments where she talks about finding females attractive.
I really enjoyed the narrator for this audiobook. She was the perfect voice to Hannah Tate and her vibrant funny personality.

What a hilarious hot mess of a book! Reminds me of how charming the book, “Out On A Limb,” is and how funny the, “Finlay Donovan,” series is.
Single mom + a man who is ready to jump in and be there = one hell of a rom com.
This was quite the riot. The audiobooks is well done & the narrator had me cracking up. Normally any stories with babies or pregnancy tend to not be for me, but this was realistic & very enjoyable to read.
Thank you to the author, the publisher, & to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for my review!

Reminiscent of ‘00s era chicklit, I enjoyed this so much as humorous women’s fiction! The romance wasn’t compelling (it’s a love triangle with FMC choosing between two very unappealing MMCs) and I wish she’d ended up single, but it was still a fun ride if you read it through a women’s fiction lens.
Premise - a single mother moves in with her moms in a charming mountain small town, where she meets a physically (only physically) attractive man. When her f*boi ex returns to the picture, she has to decide between the two.
🍅 MMC 1: River, a yogi with nothing but abs going for him. He’s an unselfaware, unreliable man child who will absolutely continue to let her down again while he meets out crumbs of love on his terms.
🍅 MMC 2: Killian, a cheating f*boi who still houses rockstar aspirations despite a decided lack of talent. He’s the kind of guy who notices every stretch mark, then (out loud, to you) congratulates himself for deigning to be with you anyway.
FMC: a scrappy, if unprepared, single mother to an infant. She’s carrying trauma from a childhood where neither parent was consistently there for her, but she’s trying to break the cycle for her son.
FMC claims she’s bisexual, though we never see her finding a woman attractive nor are there significant women in her love life history. I think it’s time for her to swipe on women, or just other men than these two disappointments, or just be single and happy.
The pacing was strong and the voice was fun, so I enjoyed the story, but it’s not one where you root for the couple! I’m afraid FMC’s ultimate choice will definitely perpetuate the cycle of family instability for Bowie.

Thanks, NetGalley and Union Square for the gifted ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this romance debut about a bisexual single mom who returns to her small town Georgia home to help her parents renovate their property to start a new air bnb. Funny, heartfelt and steamy, this was grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract perfection with tons of relatable mom moments. I'm excited to read whatever the author writes next. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital and audio copy in exchange for my honest review!
