I enjoyed this much more than the first one. I felt like the Last Mrs. Parrish really dragged until the end. This novel; however, told a lot of backstory, but still moved along quite quickly. I truly hated the oldest daughter, Tallulah. The attitude, the disrespectful way she spoke to her mother-oof! It also seemed as though Daphne didn't learn her lesson originally dealing with Amber and Jackson, but she soon proved herself to be a worthy opponent. Overall, I really enjoyed this one. The writing was definitely more fast-paced, and it was an easy read that made it difficult to put down.

I have been a fan of them ever since The Last Mrs. Parrish. I always credit that book for being the first book to get me into reading thrillers as an adult. I have been chasing the high of that book ever since reading it, and even though I have read Liv Constantine's other books, you can imagine my excitement when I saw that there was going to be a follow up to an old favorite of mine. I am happy to report that this one lived up to the hype for me. I would definitely suggest reading The Last Mrs. Parrish before reading this one, so you have the "history" of the main characters before reading this one. I can't wait to see what they are going to come up with next!

This sequel was not needed but it was nice to revisit these characters again! A lot of the story was very very repetitive which took away from the story. I didn't like the southern slang used as that is not how we talk in the south. While I appreciate having Amber and Jackson back in my life, i'm going to pretend this wasn't made because I like how we left them in the initial book.

The Next Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine is a great sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish! This book was as twisty and entertaining as the 1st book! I’m hoping for a 3rd!?!? I just can’t get enough! We need to know what happens to Amber!

The Next Mrs Parrish was a page turner. The characters were well developed and the chapters alternated between them. It was fast paced and the ending was satisfying. The twists and turns were numerous . I highly recommend this book for all psychological thriller lovers. It will keep you guessing until the end.

Multiple POVs with several rich characters behaving badly.

If you read the first book you are aware of characters Amber, Jackson, and Daphne. Daphne is the first Mrs. Parrish and Amber is the next or current Mrs. Jackson Parrish.

Jackson and Amber continue to be the worst of mankind. Daphne is inserted back into their world in hopes of honoring her daughter’s request to spend time with her father. Daphne gave me anxiety throughout the book with her choices.

This book also introduces Daisy Ann. Daisy is a successful businesswoman who is seeking to avenge her father’s death that was previously ruled as a tragic accident. Daisy is convinced that her father’s ex is to blame. The intersection between all of these characters made for a thrilling read. I also enjoyed the storyline ending. Liv Constantine just knows how to write a story that is so easy to gobble up. I read The Last Mrs. Parrish in a matter of hours. The Next Mrs. Parrish was no different! The same characters are back at it again in this sequel with the addition of a 3rd female main character. Daisy adds a plot twist to the story I never saw coming. Jackson is still as diabolical as Daphne is naive. And Amber is downright evil but makes for a great antagonist. I really just had the urge to shake Daphne for falling for Jackson’s ways again.

Both stories are full of toxic, crazy, unreliable characters - but this one just hit differently. Read book 1 so you know the level of crazy you're dealing with here. LOL

I very much enjoyed this sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish. As much as I dislike the characters of Amber and Jackson, the authors wrote them very well and I think they want us to dislike them!! The story lines kept my interest and intertwined nicely. Though parts of the book seemed unbelievable, I kept reading, wanting to know how the story would end up.

A great follow up to the first Parrish book. There were so many twists and turns it was hard to keep up with. It was a fast, easy read and I read it in 1 day.

Well I guess I am the only one who has not read the first book in this series but I still plugged on and read it anyway. In this book, we meet Amber, Daphne, and Daisy Ann—three unforgettable characters for sure.

These women have their own characters and the author has developed them in such a way that you feel that you could sit down and have dinner with them. I loved Daisy Ann and her work to find justice for her deceased Dad. She was my favorite in this book.
I loved the way their stories mingled and there were parts of this book that made it very hard to put down. I think the ending is the best and the way the author ties it all together is just fantastic. Their stories intertwine in the most unexpected and brilliant ways.

When I started reading this I swear to God I felt like I had already read it before. I kept second-guessing myself because it seemed so familiar. Maybe I just really longed for these characters and that's why it felt so familiar. Anywho, I really enjoyed the second installment. I love the back and forth POV between Amber and Daphne. My favorite part was watching Jackson get what he deserved and also watching Amber get the karma that was coming for her. The ending was absolutely perfect and I couldn't have written a better one myself If I willed it into existence. I absolutely love Liv Constantine's writing and this was another fantastic one from her. Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for this advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Book was adequately paced. Wasn’t sure what to expect given that its predecessor did end on a clean note.

Amber is more insufferable if you could believe it! Jackson is enraging. Daphne still needs to be bold and defiant.

Love to hate! Quick read. Enjoyed the alternating POVs

I am such a fan of the first book. This book was a very slow burn, and so many story lines going on. I loved the story of Daphne, the abuse and her redemption in this book, the first book you didn’t really get to know her. I ending felt rushed and lacked motivation to continue.

If you read The Last Mrs. Parrish you must read The Next Mrs. Parrish! The authors (yes, Liv is a name pen name for sisters Lynne and Valerie) wrote this twisty domestic thriller that really had me thinking until the very end. The same characters from the first book are all here, Jackson, Amber and Daphne. Daisy Ann is a new character out for revenge after her father was killed in a hunting “accident” by his new wife, you got it —Amber—prior to her marriage to Jackson.

Before I continue with a summary of the plot, what I will tell you is to read the riveting sequel. So well developed and perfect jaw dropping moments.

Now on to a summary! Jackson is finishing his jail sentence for tax evasion. While in jail, Amber, the new Mrs. Parrish, is scheming after she finds rare gems on Jackson’s boat and is getting ready to leave Jackson and their baby son Jax. Meanwhile Daphne, the previous Mrs. Parrish, makes the difficult decision to go back to the town of Bishops Harbor after moving herself and her two daughters away to California. Tallulah, Her oldest daughter, is becoming difficult to raise because she misses her father and can’t understand why she can’t see him. So against Daphne’s better judgment she agrees to take this trip to Bishops Harbor to let her daughters see Jackson. She believes Jackson hasn’t changed but thinks it would be best to allow the children to see him under her watchful eye.

As I mentioned we have a new character Daisy Ann who is the founder and CEO of a famous jewelry line. After a chance encounter between Amber and Daisy Ann, Amber is hell bent on taking over the jewelry line while Daisy Ann wants an answer once and for all about her dear father’s death. in which Amber is certain to take over.

This book can be read as a standalone. If you love thrillers then this book is for you! The Next Mrs. Parrish has characters you will love to hate and the writing will keep you highly engaged.

The interesting:
- The Daisy Ann storyline was extremely interesting.
- Amber is a villain you can't help but love honestly in this book. I was rooting for her against Jackson all the way.
- You get quite the nice resolution in this book and I'm hopeful we can leave this world alone now :)

The loss of a star and a half:
- DAPHNE'S STORYLINE MADE ME SO MAD. Anytime I was in a chapter with Daphne's perspective after she leaves California just made me roll my eyes. She was clearly still traumatized from Jackson the first time and I feel she just went way to easily, and then it just spirals. I would've just taken the Amber and Daisy Ann storylines, leave Daphne alone.

Overall: If you read the first book, no harm reading the second, but it may infuriate you.
