Pretty much picking right where we left off this book moves quickly. It kept my interest, even though I found the plot really frustrating and unbelievable. Overall, I don't think it was a necessary sequel but the twist was enjoyable and it did hold my interest.

The Next Mrs. Parrish was such a good book. I think I even liked it more than the original.

Jackson and Amber are still horrible people, but getting to know Daphne more was great. There were times in this book I wanted to scream "What are you doing?!" but without spoiling anything, the ending is so worth it. Truly the most satisfying ending.

The entire book is very well-written and builds the suspense to really keep you locked in. I didn't want to put this down and finished it so quickly. Even if you weren't a huge fan of The Last Mrs. Parrish, check this one out because I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

4/5 stars.

Thank you to the authors, publisher and Netgalley for the ARC!

I loved the first in this series, then the Kindle Unlimited prequel was entertaining, but just okay. Unfortunately I felt this book was much the same. A very irritating main character and the story dragged on much longer than it needed to.

LOVED! Flew through this in a few hours. Thank you so much for the ARC. Going into this I had really high expectations and it blew them out of the water. Such a unique plot. I thought I had an idea of what it would be about/like going into it, but I was so wrong which made it that much more enjoyable.

The characters were absurdly toxic and I loved that about them haha

Daisy and Ann's POVs became a bit boring at times, but Amber's was much better overall.

Liv Constantine does it again! I was obsessed with The Last Mrs. Parrish and wasn’t sure if her sequel would live up to my high expectations. But it definitely. There is a great flow from the first novel into the second, with an induction to Daisy Ann. I absolutely loved the plot of the sequel and was on the edge of my seat throughout the novel.

I highly recommend reading both the first novel, the Last Mrs. Parrish and her sequel, The Next Mrs. Parrish.

Thank you Randon House Publishing Group, Liv Constantine, and NetGalley for this eARC in exchange for my honest review.

Such a fun read!!! Everything I wanted in a sequel. The characters are so toxic you can’t not love them. Such a bingeable domestic thriller. I read this in one sitting

I have been in the biggest book slump I have ever had, so this book gets 3 stars mainly for keeping my attention and finally finishing a book for the first time in months. I really did want to know what was going to happen. My problem was that everything that happened at the end just made me roll my eyes. The ending happened too fast and wrapped up too neatly in my opinion. Yes there were a few things mentioned in the beginning that related to what happened at the end, but it was so out of left field to me that I didn't like it. I didn't love the three POVs for this book either and Daisy Ann kind of bored me. Amber as a character is horrible - Jackson too - but I did enjoy her POV even if I hated her character and how selfish she was.

Overall, I enjoyed this book up until the last 20%. So 3 stars for me.

I absolutely loved The Last Mrs. Parrish, so when the sequel was released I was more than excited. Unfortunately, this book fell flat for me. It read like a stand alone novel compared to a sequel. I felt there were plot holes and just overall was boring.

💎The Next Mrs. Parrish💎
By Liv Constantine

Pages: 336
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book Goal 2024: 90/100

Thanks to NetGalley and Random House Publishing for this ebook ARC.

This one was a breeze! It was twisty and mysterious. It wasn’t as thrilling as some books I have read but it was enjoyable.

I really disliked Amber and Jackson but I think we are supposed to hate them both. 😂 They are just so distasteful and I couldn’t believe anything either of them said or did. How could anyone trust them… yuck.

I do feel like this was a bit forced and we could have left the story without this but I guess I get what the author was going for.

It felt like reading days of our lives or the real housewives.

I love when a second book lives up to the first for me. It's a rare occurrence, but I should have know that Liv Constantine would be able to do it. I flew through this novel, just waiting for the wild twists I knew would be coming. The anger I felt as a mother during some of the events was strong. What made it all so believable was the way the characters were written. Some of it was mind boggling, and yet I thought, yup...that makes sense with this person. I highly recommend reading this one if you liked The Last Mrs. Parrish.

As I felt with book 1 and 1.5 of this series, some of it is a bit far fetched. But it’s still extremely entertaining. I was happy to finally see that Jackson and amber got what they deserved. Revenge was served on a cold cold platter to them both. It was an easy quick read that I enjoyed

I loved the last Mrs Parrish and couldn’t wait to dive into this! This was a great sequel. Like the first one, it is filled with characters you love to hate and seeing some new and old faces! Quite a few twists and turns with some really good entertainment!

Lots of review from the first book. Situations that were just so unbelievably cringey and maddening that I was anxious the entire time I was reading. Not necessarily in a good way. The resolution was quite satisfying though.

As always, great book Liv. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the next story about Mr Parrish & his new wife.

The grass isn’t always greener on the other side ;)

The Next Mrs. Parrish was a great sequel! It had been awhile since I read the first one but it was very easy to jump back in and remember the drama and characters. Plenty of twists I didn’t expect and just overall fun thriller to read. I would love another book in this series! I was sad to finish because it was such a great read but there are plenty of thrillers of Constantine’s to catch up on!

I read the first book in the series after being approved for this book. I’d say this was a good read and I enjoyed how to the point the book was. This is exactly the type of thriller I enjoy reading!

After reading this, I reevaluated my opinion/rating/review of The Last Mrs. Parrish from 4 to 4.5 (rounded to 5) stars! I just appreciated the twists and turns of it more while reading this one! And I equally enjoyed this one! So twisty! So addictive! Comeuppance may happen!

In the realm of psychological thrillers, finding a sequel that lives up to its predecessor is like discovering a hidden treasure. "The Next Mrs. Parrish" by Liv Constantine is one such find, delivering a story that not only meets but surpasses expectations. “The Next Mrs. Parrish” check’s in with Daphne and Amber Parrish as they drawn back into each other's lives by a long-buried threat.

Amber Patterson Parrish's journey from an unnoticed wallflower to a prominent socialite is a testament to her cunning and careful planning. Despite the bumps along the way, including her husband Jackson's tax-evasion scandal, she has managed to reign supreme in Bishops Harbor. However, Jackson's release from prison threatens to disrupt her carefully constructed life, as her free time and financial resources begin to dwindle.

Daphne Parrish, on the other hand, left Bishops Harbor after her divorce from Jackson, vowing never to return. But when one of her daughters runs away to see her father, Daphne reluctantly agrees to spend the summer back in the town she once called home. Although Jackson claims to have changed, Daphne remains skeptical, knowing all too well his capacity for deceit.

The plot thickens when a figure from Amber's past resurfaces, seeking revenge. This unexpected twist forces Amber, Daphne, and Jackson into an uneasy alliance, each trying to outmaneuver the others in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse. The question of who is manipulating whom keeps readers on the edge of their seats until the very end.

"The Next Mrs. Parrish" excels in creating suspense, weaving a tale so compelling that it's hard to put down. The characters are well-developed, allowing readers to reconnect with familiar faces while exploring their growth and changes. The pacing is relentless, with each chapter revealing new twists and turns that keep the story moving at breakneck speed.

The ending of the novel is particularly satisfying. Without giving away any spoilers, it can be said that the fates of Amber and Jackson are fitting and well-deserved. The conclusion ties up the narrative threads in a way that feels earned and complete, leaving readers both satisfied and eager for more.

In summary, "The Next Mrs. Parrish" is a stellar follow-up that captivates from beginning to end. It's a novel that challenges our perceptions of trust and betrayal, making us question just how far people will go for power and revenge. Whether you're a fan of the genre or new to it, this book is a thrilling ride you won't want to miss.

I was thrilled when I read there was a sequel to THE NEXT MRS. PARRISH by Liv Constantine. The writing duo did not disappoint me; the book was a pleasure to read.

Amber is back and she is as deviant as ever. Amber is married to Jackson Parrish, who is out of prison after serving time for tax evasion. They have a son Jax. The X Mrs. Parrish is back too and it's a crazy ride.

You will love to hate the characters in this book. A worthy read as a stand alone or a sequel.
