I loved this follow-up to the Last Mrs. Parrish. I found the story to be just as enthralling and really made me excited to keep reading and figure out all the clues. I can’t wait to read more by this author duo!

This picks up right where The Last Mrs. Parrish left off! And without giving any spoilers for either book, I’ll just say this is the continuation of Daphne, Jackson and Amber’s story, and will make you wonder, can someone really change? And if so, who will it be?
Thankfully this one didn’t delve as much into the twisted deviant behavior that rattled me in the first book, but rest assure there is enough evil, backstabbing, power controlling conduct to go around. As Daphne tries to navigate the minefield that is Jackson, Amber has plans of her own. The girls are grown and, not surprisingly, have issues to deal with. New characters are introduced. There seems to be a lot coming at you, but after twisting one way then another it comes to quite the climax.
This will be available June 18, 2024 and perfect for a kick off summer read!

Thank you Netgalley, Random House, and Liv Constantine for allowing me to review an advanced reader copy of The Next Mrs. Parrish. It had been awhile since I read the first book, so I appreciated the refresher on all the events that went down at the beginning of book #2. Wow! This was a ride.
I wanted to scream at Daphne for going back across the country, but then we wouldn't have this book! Jackson/Amber play such good villains. I never knew what they were going to do next. I was happy this book had a happy ending and their games finally caught up with them. I was cheering for Daphne throughout the this whole book and so glad she got closure. Please pick up this read! You won't be able to put it down.
4.5 stars!!

Holy cannoli this was just as good as the first one! Twist and turns. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to read this one! Thank you so very much

Thank you #netgalley for this ARC. I loved this wild ride as much as the first book. There were so many twists and turns, and, despite the fact that almost all the characters were unlikeable and deeply flawed, I still found myself rooting for justice. 4/5 stars. Would definitely recommend.

Sister Duo Liv Constantine can do no wrong in my eyes! I have loved all their books and it is no different for this one. I loved diving back into Amber and Daphne’s world in Bishop Harbor. And new character, sweet southern belle Daisy Ann was a breath of fresh air! Do yourself a favor a pick this one up in June. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

I'd previously read the first book, and I was happy to see a sequel. I'll say that I sometimes think sequels are lazy in the plot and not unique in any way. This one was a fun read, and if I hadn't read the first I still would have gotten enjoyment out of it.
I enjoyed this book and I'd recommend it.
Thank you to @netgalley and Random House Publishing for a digital ARC of this title in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
#TheNextMrsParrish

The sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish is just as good as the first. Daphne fighting for her children, Amber fighting to be better than everyone else, no matter the cost. And, Jackson fighting to control everyone in his life. Constant twists and turns and a great ending.

and to think i thought the first book closed with a perfect ending. when i saw the author was coming out with.a second, i was ecstatic! this was amazing! i loved being back in the world of jackson-amber-daphne. 10/10! thanks netgalley & the publisher for the arc in exchange for an honest review

3.5 stars. I was slightly underwhelmed by this follow up to The Last Mrs. Parrish. I don’t really think the book needed a sequel, but I did enjoy it. Once again, I loved the different POV chapters. This was a fun popcorn read. I did feel like the ending came slightly out of left field and was left feeling a little disappointed.
Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced copy.

First I would like to thank Netgalley and Random House Publishing for the ARC of this book.
I read the first one and thought it was so fun. When I found out it was going to have a sequel I was so excited. I enjoyed this book but I feel like it wasn’t as good as the first one. We had all the same characters back and I really enjoyed the addition of Daisy Anne. I liked having the third POV.
I feel like I had a harder time getting into this one. I found the first one just intrigued me from the very first page this one I had a harder time rooting for the characters. Amber and Jackson were even worst then in the first book and that made it hard for me to enjoy their storylines at all.
But I love the over-the-top nature of these books and the twists and turns are always so fun. Plus the ending was fantastic. #netgalley #thenextmrsparrish

First, thank you NetGalley for supplying me with this ARC. I m so grateful for the reads I have received through you.
This book was at least 4 star read for me. As always the Constantine’s take you on a wild , unpredictable ride through the lives ofAmanda, Jackson, Daphne and my favorite Daisy Ann. So much fun to see them outmaneuver each other ending in the best of finales. A truly great read, again!!

I absolutely devoured "The Last Mrs. Parrish" so when Netgalley and Random House Publishing gave me the opportunity ARC read the sequel I was ecstatic! The beginning through me for a loop with the addition of new characters but watching everything unfold and come together was so satisfying. Sometimes when the first novel in a series is so utterly perfect it's hard to write a follow up but this one satisfied every one of my hopes for this book.
I cannot thank Liv Constantine, Random House Publishing Group-Ballentine, and Netgalley enough for giving me early access to this amazing work of art in exchange for my honest review!

I was very excited to have gotten an advanced readers copy of The Next Mrs. Parrish since the prequel was one of my favorites of 2018. Thank you to the author, Liv Constantine, NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review an early copy.
Phew this book was a wild ride with so many twists and turns along the way! It was full of suspense and kept me turning the pages. I loved the short chapters and different points of view between Daphne, Amber, Daisy Ann and Jackson.
4.5 Stars just due to the fact that both Amber and Jackson were characters that I just despised. I was so disgusted with them and awaited them to get what they deserved throughout the entire book.
The ending was satisfying and I felt like it tied everything up nicely.

As you probably know Daphne is the Last Mrs. Parrish and Amber Patterson is the Next Mrs. Parrish. The last book ended with Daphne getting “sweet revenge”.
It was definitely a WOW read and although I was looking forward to this sequel, I truly wasn’t expected it would be a good at the first!
I was wrong!!!
Story starts with Amber Patterson Parrish waiting for her husband, Jackson, to be released from prison.
Daphne was able to rid of her abusive horrible husband Jackson with then sweet Amber and, vowed she did not want to have anything to do with either of them …She and daughters Bella 11 and Tallulah 13 moved from Bishops Harbor Connecticut to California. Daphne’s mother joins them. Jackson always kept them apart by telling mom that Daphne didn’t want her around.
Tallulah is not happy about being away from her dad. in fact, she runs away while on a school trip. She is found and returned to her mother. Daphne knows that Tallulah wants to spent time with her father. Her therapist suggests she allow a supervised visit. So with reluctance Daphne agrees to let both daughters spend two months of the summer with their father and rents an apartment in Bishops Harbor as she doesn’t complete believe Jackson has changed.
Thus the story begins and what a story it is!!
There was so much going on in this story - new characters – some you will love and some are not; Amber and Jackson are just as detestable.
Definitely an unputdownable domestic psychological thriller
This is[author, Liv Constantine book number five for me; I have read and loved. ~ "The Last Mrs. Parrish, "The Stranger in Mirror" 'The Wife Stalker" and "The Senator’s Wife" - I am a fan!
As you fans know, Liv Constantine is the pen name for sisters Lynn & Valerie Constantine-the Dynamic Duo!
Now have to wait until next summer to read what these two have in store for readers!!
Thank you NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group – Ballantine, Bantam for granting me this great early thriller!
Publishing Release Date scheduled for June 18, 2023

I LOVED the first book so had high expectations for this one. I thought it started out a little slow but once I got about 50% through, I couldn’t put it down. Great twists through out. Can’t lie tho - Jackson and Amber are just terribleeeee. Another great book by Liv!

The Next Mrs. Parrish is a must read for anyone who read The Last Mrs. Parrish! Daphne is flawed but still lovable. Amber and Jackson are still just as easy to hate as the story continues. There are lots of twists and turns, but it’s a little less compelling than the original. Liv Constantine is a gifted writer, and I enjoyed the continuing story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book did not disappoint! I think that it had the most twists and turns of any book that I have read this year.
I didn’t realize that there was a book 1 and a prequel. I plan to go back and read them because I am curious how the characters developed across the earlier books.
The story mostly goes back and forth between three women. They are interconnected, but in less common ways which I really liked! Daisy Ann and Daphne were incredibly intuitive and I loved reading how they approached the challenges that they faced.
Definitely add this book to your “to be read pile”

This was a welcome continuation from The Last Mrs Parrish! Nothing groundbreaking and in some ways repetitive, it was still a quick, fun read. Loved catching up with our characters and story after the big reveal from the first book.

This was an easy book to breeze through. It was very entertaining and the chapters were short. I think I preferred Amber’s narrative most, only because she’s such a narcissist that you can’t help but picking your jaw up off the floor after reading her inner thoughts.
I enjoyed Daisy Anne’s POV as well as her southern charm, while Daphne’s POV was just okay- the gaslighting trope is my least favorite so I struggled with the whole lemonade situation. Overall; this was a book that’s binge worthy and one you can read in a day. It all came together perfectly in the end. I’m wondering if there is the possibility of a third installment???
Thank you to Netgalley and Random House/ Ballentine for the ARC.
