My favourite duo has a new book, I am beyond excited to get early access to this! I enjoyed all of their books, but “The Last Mrs Parrish” was my favourite. I was a bit sceptical at first, because sequels are usually not my thing. But I was very willing to give it a try!
The cover is exquisite, I love the combinations of the colours. Would have most definitely picked it up!
Jackson is in prison and Amber is enjoying her life at the top of society but funds are running low.
On the other side of the country Daphne enjoys her freedom as well, but it’s short lived as thirteen-years-old Talulah is rebelling and wanting to see her father.
The addition of Daisy Ann felt very weird at the beginning, who is the wealthy, beautiful woman from Texas? How is she linked to the other two women? But after a few of her chapters I got what was going on. More enemies for Amber, though I would have liked the focus to be even more on Jackson and Daphne.
Amber was as conniving as ever, while Daphne’s oldest daughter added the right touch of drama and teenage rebellion. I wanted to shake her so many times!
Jackson is as despicable as always, trying to find new ways to gaslight Daphne and get her back to love with him.
All in all it was a very enjoyable read. I liked all the characters, even the ones you’re supposed to despise. It was fabulous to be back in their world, as I’d never have expected a sequel.
The story was easy to get into and there was enough of subtle catching up in the beginning. It didn’t feel repetitive, but was a good opportunity to freshen up my memory, it’s been a while since I read book one.
I would however not recommend reading this as a standalone, you’d be confused about what happened before.
I know is this is a fictional story and not everything can logical, but I would have really hoped for Daphne to have recorders Jackson. I was thinking that so many times, especially when she was at the beach house.
The only thing I did not care for was all the business scheming that was going on, never interested me before and it has not changed now, I fear.
⭐️Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for my advanced copy. All opinions are my own, I was under no obligation to review.

Thank you #NetGalley for the ARC of The Next Mrs. Parrish. I read this book in just 2 days! I was so excited to dive back into Ambers world of lies and deceit. The story follows several of points of view which I really enjoyed. Great character development and entertaining all the way through. I was 100000% satisfied with the ending and even look forward to a 3rd book! Hmmm how will Amber aka Lana wriggle her way out of this one?

Thank you so much to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC. I was so pumped to read the sequel, as I enjoyed both the prequel and the preceding book. This book was full of mind games and betrayal, and I stayed entertained throughout. Although it was slow at times, overall I really enjoyed it and would recommend others give it a try as well.

"The Next Mrs. Parish" by Liv Constantine is a decent follow up to one of my favorite mysteries. The pacing is steady, and the characters are well-developed. However, the plot feels somewhat predictable, and the ending lacks the shocking revelation I was hoping for. Overall, it's an enjoyable read but not groundbreaking in the genre.

It took awhile to really get into the story and for the pacing to pick up, but I enjoyed how the stories interweaved. Daphne had many earlier opportunities to record Jackson so that storyline was a bit frustrating, but kind of to be expected. I feel we can put these characters to rest now.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Wow!! I didn’t think it was possible to top the first one in this series, but mission accomplished!! I’m still in shock at all the twists, drama, lies, & thrills!! Do NOT sleep on this book, read it NOW! You will be riddled with anxiety throughout and even after that last sentence. I’m going to need a third book to this series!! I need more!! 😍🤯
There’s just something about Liv Constantine’s writing skills. I’ve devoured them all.
Thanks, NetGalley for letting me read this ARC.

Wow! I thought the first book was good. THIS ONE WAS GREAT! Love these characters, didn’t want it to end. Literally couldn’t put this book down. Will be talking about this book for weeks and recommending to everyone I know

The long awaited ending to The Last Mrs. Parrish is finally here. Lots of twists, deceit and conniving in this book. Is there possible to be a worse character than Amber? The authors do an amazing job at making a despicable character. Old money, new money, revenge and lies. Definitely read The Last Mrs. Parrish and the prequel The First Shot before jumping into this one. Thank you netgalley for the arc!

When I say, I audibly screamed out loud with joy when I got approved for this book I mean that’s actually what happened at work. I’ve been a Liv Constantine fan for quite a while now and the Last Mrs Parrish is one of my favorite thrillers that I’ve ever read this book was absolutely everything I could’ve wanted as a follow up and more to the first book. I loved how the book followed the three women (Daphne, Amber and Daisy Ann) and switched from their different perspectives throughout to tell the story. I read this in one sitting and was on the edge of my seat all day, wondering where the story was going to leave each and every character. The whole story was beyond amazing and I absolutely loved the ending. This book was just so fantastic I could not recommend it anymore to anyone who read and loved the first one as much as I did!

3.5 stars rounded up
when this was announced, I wasn't exactly sure why we were going back to the world of Daphne and Amber as I thought the first book works as a single story. however once I got into the meat of the book, I felt like the authors Constantine had a personal reason for a sequel, as this one touches on slightly darker themes and tones.
I feel like there's not too much I can say about the plot without spoiling the original book. I admit I found Amber's storyline less engaging, but themes of money/blackmail are never my cup of tea, but Daphne's storyline was a lot more interesting and I can see a lot of women relating to her character. she's more resilient this time around, and I was on edge to see what would happen between her and Jackson.

4 stars
Well if you read and loved the first one, this will not be a let down. The action and shenanigans are all back in full force. This is not one of those sequels that sucks, quite the opposite actually.
Quick and easy and so much fun.

Such a quick fun read as we are catapulted back into the lives of Daphne, Amber and Jackson!! They’re at it again with their schemes and it’s a fun ride to see who will come out on top this time!

THE NEXT MRS PARRISH ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. What a ride! With 67 short chapters of an enticing tale, you can’t put it down until you know what happens next. If you were a fan of the first book this will not disappoint. The book did feel highly unrealistic at times for me which led to removing a star. From the beginning I knew the POVs would weave together eventually but it took a bit to get there. The book was a page turner and left me addictive to finishing it just like the first!

Holy cow. This book was EVERYTHING I could have wanted and then some!!! I absolutely devoured this book in less than a day. As a fan of The Last Mrs. Parrish and the prequel, The First Shot, I was thrilled to be able to have a chance to read this book before it hit the market. Thank you so much for the opportunity to read and review it! I will be recommending this book to EVERYONE!! I'm not huge on rereading books, but I think I'll have to make an exception to this series. Incredible!! All the stars!!

I received an advanced copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Great plot full of twists which continue throughout. This book grabbed me from the first sentence and never let it go. Fast paced, with a gripping ending sure to please all psychological thriller lovers.

Although the plot was a little disturbing, I found myself anticipating what would happen next and couldn’t put this book down. There is nothing more satisfying than watching someone get what they deserve like Amber & Jackson!!
I enjoyed this series immensely especially with so many twists and surprises. Highly recommend to others.

Stayed up ALL night to finish this! It has popcorn thriller vibes!
The Liv Constantine duo is a force to be reckoned with! I could not believe how lucky I was to get this arc!
I absolutely loved the Last Mrs. Parrish so I couldn't wait for the sequel. Apparently there is also a prequel that I need to check out as well now!
The cover is stunning and this book was just as good as the first! Definitely did not suffer from the Sophmore slump.
Amber Jackson still sucks, Jackson still sucks, and Daphne is still a badass. There were so many good twists and turns in the second half of the book!
I feel the ending was open enough to possibly hint at a third book and I WOULD LOVE THAT!!!
Thank you to the authors and netgalley for the arc in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Exactly the type of book I hoped for from Liv Constantine! Great, complex characters, crazy settings and stories. It was a book that kept me entertained and one I couldn't put down. I loved how this book discussed the kids more and how the introduction of new characters actually worked for me! Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

This excellent novel is a sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish and I predict it will be a big hit with readers. I certainly had a blast reading about the bad guys and the good guys. So many bad guys up to no good! I loved every nail-biting twist of this intricate plot.

What a trip!
I wish I would have reread the first book before digging into this one but I couldn’t wait. Thankfully, the book does summarize a lot of what happened before. The characters are just as crazy and untrustworthy. The first half was entertaining but I still had a hard time staying focused. The twists and turns in the second half make up for it though. Could not put it down once the action started. Absolutely loved where everyone ends up!
Thank you, NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for the early copy in exchange for my honest review.
