I have been a fan of Liv Constantine (well the two of the co-authors) for quite a few years now. But I was very disappointed in this book and DNF. For those o who have not read The Last Mrs. Parrish, they may find this book a psychological thriller that they will enjoy, I found it going over old ground and it just did not keep my interest. I didn't want to continue to read about how horrible Mr. Parrish was and the various ways he chose to psychological abuse his wife(ves). Having said that, I do recommend for all public libraries.

Loved this book of Mrs.Parrish. You never know what might happen in a marriage. This one full of surprise and spiteful women. I really enjoyed both this books.

Let me start by saying I read the first book and I remember liking it - but it was a few years ago so the details were fuzzy. That being said, I do think you could read this book as a standalone because it mentions things that happened in the past often enough that you can catch what is going on.
I do think that reading the first book right before this one would help to stay engaged. At first I was slightly bored due to not remembering what was going on and re-learning the characters.
There were past characters and some fun new ones. I enjoyed the new storyline and the little deceitful twists and the satisfying outcome of the characters.
Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine for granting me the opportunity to read this for an honest review.

While I did not enjoy this sequel as much as the original, it was still good. I’m not sure how realistic the plot line is- who would willingly actually go back- but the end was nicely wrapped up.

The Next Mrs. Parrish
I still remember reading The Last Mrs. Parrish years ago and thinking how smart it was. I liked The Next Mrs Parrish but struggled with some of the implausible storylines and using the children as a means to an evil end.
While it seems a bit predictable at the beginning, I was surprised by the twists at the end. The addition of a new character in Daisy Ann ups the ante and adds something fresh to the main storyline which is very similar to the first book.
The Last Mrs. Parrish is the kind of book you can binge over a long weekend; short chapters and some action to keep the plot moving.

Whoa… This book one of those books I physically felt while reading. Drama, drama, drama, and many twists and turns. This one will have you fuming, trembling, and cheering depending on the page you’re on. Don’t miss this page turner. It is one wild ride you’ll have a hard time putting down!

3 stars bc I finished. Probably more like 2.75. Too many unlikeable characters amd didn't really care about any of them. And even though the stories came together I thought it was disjointed and too much going on. Almost dnf'd a couple of times but skimmed through the end.

Thank you so much NetGalley for the arc of the next Mrs Parrish. I loved the cat & mouse chase feel of this next part of the Daphne/Jackson/Amber saga.

4/5 Stars
To me Liv Constantine knows how to write a book! I loved the Last Mrs. Parrish so I knew this one would be right up there as a fabulous read.
Daphne and Ambers lives are about to collide again. Daphne has done everything she can to stay as far away as possible from Bishops Harbor until one of their daughters runs away and she has no choice but to spend the summer at the place she despises the most. Daphne and Amber soon pair up when one of Ambers past ghosts re appears in their lives. Who’s telling the truth and who is playing who? This book has twists and turns that make you not want to put it down.
Looking for a physiological thriller, this is it!

I loved The Last Mrs. Parrish and had such high hopes for this novel. The unexpected twists kept me turning the pages, but I did not find that to be the case with The Next Mrs. Parrish.
The story is told from varying character's perspectives. As such, each chapter had a different tone or feel to it, which made sense, but also made the novel seem a bit disjointed to me. I had trouble being interested in some of the characters as a result of this. There was plotting and drama galore, but it made me care even less about the characters. I had a hard time getting in to the novel and so it took me longer to finish than I expected.
Additionally, there was no great twist here--the twist that came was sort of....oh...that's it? I was expecting more based on my previous experience with Constantine's novels.
All this being said, it was a relatively easy read, just the kind of thing you want for summer vacation.
Thank you to the publisher and #NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of The Next Mrs Parrish to read, rate, and review.
I enjoyed reading the continuation of Daphne and Amber's exploits with Jackson. This book picks up right where the first left off, with Jackson serving his time in federal prison for tax evasion. I had a lot of thoughts about what the "next" mrs Parrish might mean, and none of them turned out to be where this book was taking me! What a thrill ride! Everyone has secrets to hide and reasons to run away, but will they escape or find themselves caught back up in Jackson's web? More of Amber's past is revealed and new characters are introduced. I loved every second of it.

I loved The Last Mrs. Parrish and this one was even better!!
Written in multiple POV, this story goes between Daphne (the last Mrs. Parrish), Amber (the new Mrs. Parrish), and Daisy Ann (Amber’s dead ex-husband’s daughter).
These three ladies, along with Jackson, trick and double cross each other throughout the entire story. I loved all the twists and turns and loved finding out more about Amber’s past.
I definitely recommend this one!

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC! This book lived up to my expectations! The Last Mrs. Parrish was really the book that turned me into such a big reader, and I was super nervous for a sequel.
The writing style was very dense but nothing felt unnecessary within the paragraphs. For such a short book, the word count must’ve been extremely high! This made it feel a bit slower paced to me even though the content was there.
The ending was exactly what I wanted and more!!! Some things are worse than death, right??
Great follow up to a great series.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Loved, loved, loved this book!
Amber, Daphne, and Jackson are back and it’s all the drama! Jackson is getting out of prison for tax fraud. Daphne moves back to Bishops Harbor so her kids can be closer to their father. Jackson is trying to prove that he’s a changed man. But is he really? Amber is conniving as ever and will do anything to stay rich and live her best socialite lifestyle.
Liv Constantine knows how to write the perfect domestic thriller! Their writing is intelligent, and well thought. This was such a gripping thriller! The ending was literary perfection!! If you loved the first book, there is no doubt you will love this one!! Highly recommended this book!

Thank you to NetGalley, Liv Constantine, and Random House Publishing Group- Ballantine for this ARC!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
*Reviewed on NetGalley, Amazon, and Goodreads.

Having been a fan of Liv Constantine's previous work, I approached The Next Mrs. Parrish with high expectations and I was not disappointed. This writing duo has once again crafted a masterful thriller that kept me on the edge from start to finish.

Thank you @netgalley @prhaudio @penguinrandomhouse @penguinbooks @livconstantine2 @atrandombooks @randomhouse for the #gifted ARC, audio ARC & finished copy of The Next Mrs. Parrish.
This is the sequel that we never knew we needed until it was announced & then I couldn’t get my hands on it fast enough.
Amber has been living it up while Jackson’s been in prison; Daphne has moved away from Bishops Harbor to keep her family safe from Jackson’s abuse & mind games; and Jackson’s been biding his time in prison anxious for his release, which has finally come.
After her daughter runs away from home desperately wanting to see her father, Daphne agrees to go back to Bishops Harbor for a short time. So, now Daphne, Amber & Jackson are all back in each other’s orbit. Let the psychological games begin & may the odds be ever in your favor!
This story gives us all the answers and ties up all the loose ends from the first book so perfectly. I don’t want to say too much, but just know that ALL of your questions (and then some) will be answered & the jaw-dropping ending will leave you completely satisfied. Just picture a chef kissing his fingers. Utter PERFECTION.
Grab this sequel ASAP! And if you haven’t read The Last Mrs. Parrish – you have no idea what you’re missing. Run & grab both!

Well, this was a bit disappointing for me. I just didn't fall into it like I did the first one.
This book took forever to get anywhere! The characters were all annoying and the overall story was not interesting. The first book was so much better.

A very good sequel. Fast paced. The twists and turns at the end were very good and I didn't expect some of them

ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
I’m a little backlogged with my ARC’s but working diligently to get caught up. I was scared to read this book at first because I didn’t think it would live up the first one and I would be let down. I’m so glad that wasn’t the case! It was everything I hoped it would be and more! I really loved getting parts of the story from other characters points of views as well! If you like psychological thrillers, make sure you read the first book before, but definitely read this right after!

BOOK REVIEW
The Next Mrs. Parrish- by Liv Constantine
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am a huge fan of Liv Constantine, and when I heard they were coming out with a sequel to one of my favorites, I was thrilled!! This book was incredible, but I will say that it is really challenging to read a book when you despise all of the main characters!!!! This sequel was not needed but it was so enjoyable. Full of twists and turns and I truly felt myself yelling out loud at the characters decisions. Toxic characters make for a book that you truly cannot put down. I fleeeeew through!!! Let me know if you read this one!! Thank you @netgalley for this ARC!
