Overall loved it! I love a thriller sequel because you get to hear what comes after the big twist revealed in the first book. And this one absolutely nailed it!

I immediately got sucked back into these characters and the authors do a great job with small recaps of the first book. Amber is so cringeworthy that I wanted to scream (in the best way) and it kept me glued to each page.

The best part was the book would take a turn and reveal something big and then it would turn a totally different way so you were kept on your toes. This book was the twist that just kept on twisting!

I’ll start by saying that you should be sure to read the books in order because the wording of the titles might throw you off.

Having read Liv Constantine’s novel THE LAST MRS. PARRISH back in 2017, followed by the prequel THE FIRST SHOT in 2021, I knew that the sequel THE NEXT MRS. PARRISH shouldn’t be missed. Boy, was I right!

There are twists, turns and surprises around every corner that will keep you on the edge of your seat. And when you find yourself thinking you have it all figured out… think again.

It you’re like me, you’ll be making sure your friends have read the previous books so they’re ready for THE NEXT MRS. PARRISH when it hits the shelves on June 18, just in time to be the hottest beach-read of 2024.

Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group- Ballantine for the opportunity to read THE NEXT MRS. PARRISH and provide my honest review for others.
To Lynne and Valerie Constantine, the sisters who join forces and write as Liv Constantine, You’ve done it again! Thank you!

Justice was served beautifully. This series has been amazing. Each book contained jaw-dropping moments. I didn’t know what to expect when Daphne, Amber, and Daisy Ann intertwined but it was perfect. I can’t praise this series enough! Everyone got the ending they deserved, especially Jackson. Multiple POVs, fast paced, hooks you in from the start.

If you haven’t read the first book, I highly recommend you read it first before reading this. It’ll give you a better understanding. If you read the first one and liked it, you’re going to love this.

Amber and Jackson split up and Jackson tries to get back with Daphne. As per his usual self, he makes Daphne’s life impossible but karma gets him good and he pays for everything he did.

Amber’s past comes to bite her in the rear end and when she thinks she’s home free, fate finally catches up to her twofold!

Overall, I liked this book more than the first one because due diligence was done and justice was served

As always, these ladies deliver. I predict this will be a big beach read this summer. Fast paced, with some good twists!

Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced reader copy of this book.

The Parrish love triangle is back and revenge is the name of the game for everyone. While i greatly enjoyed book 1, i found book 2 to be confusing and far fetched. Short chapters are my favorite and I usually find the back and forth POV to be engaging but the back stabbing was so hard to keep track of i found myself getting confused.

The Next Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine is the sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish.

I was super excited to have been granted this ARC because I LOVED the first book in the series (gave it 5⭐️). Even though I felt the first book ended well, I wanted to learn more about the characters and see where this book would take them.

I have to say it was a crazy ride! A lot more family drama in this book (the teenager is AWFUL!!) and it seemed to be a little chaotic. There were a lot of different things going on, back and forth, multiple POV, storylines etc, not to the point where I was confused, but it was just a lot. It did all come together in the end but left me thinking was this really necessary? (I felt similar with Colleen Hoover’s extra chapter for Verity).

I liked The Next Mrs. Parrish. It was a good story and kept me interested. I think the authors do a great job creating despicable characters. Do I think it added anything? Not really. I waffled on how to rate this..I ended up giving it 3.75⭐️ (rounded up to 4⭐️ on Goodreads) I have read that some people believe this can be a standalone, I disagree. I think you need to read The Last Mrs. Parrish first. I was surprised to find out that there is a short Audible original called The First Shot that is a prequel to The Last Mrs Parrish and tells how Amber became the way she is. I don’t have Audible so I didn’t listen to it, but people say it’s a must listen before diving into the sequel.

Thank you to Netgalley, the authors and Random House/Ballantine/Bantum Publishing Group for sharing a digital copy for my honest review.

First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to Netgalley for providing me with a copy of the book titled "The Next Mrs. Parrish." I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel and found it immensely entertaining from start to finish. I highly recommend delving into the first book to gain a complete understanding of the storyline.
What sets this book apart is its captivating narrative, filled with twists and turns that keep the reader engaged throughout. The author's inclusion of Daisy Ann adds a delightful element to the story, creating a multi-faceted and intriguing plot. The overall narrative is simply amazing, making it a book that can be devoured in one sitting.
In conclusion, "The Next Mrs. Parrish" is an exceptional novel that captivates readers with its engaging storytelling and captivating characters. If you haven't already had the opportunity to delve into this series, I highly recommend doing so.

3.5 ⭐️s rounded up!
If you enjoyed The Last Mrs. Parrish, then this sequel is sure to please! Jackson and Amber are back and still up to their despicable, conniving ways. Although Jackson claims to be “a changed man”, he in fact has not changed a bit and is still trying to control and manipulate his ex wife, Daphne, and their two young, impressionable daughters.

This story also introduces a new character, Daisy Ann, who is the daughter of Amber’s first husband who died tragically in a “hunting accident”. I wasn’t initially sure how Daisy Ann’s character would work into this story but she ended up being a pretty decent addition to the storyline.

Although I didn’t quite like this story as much as the original, I still thought it was an easy and entertaining read. There were many twists, loads of lies and deception, and things all pretty much get wrapped up the way you expect them to.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for the advanced copy of this new book. Publication is set for June 18, 2024.

The latest episode of Mrs Parrish is a literary success! It’s engaging and fast reading.
The new Mrs Parrish has quite a felonious background, yet finds a way to continue her unlawful ways! Unhappily married to the controlling Mr Parrish, she needs to find a way to escape, but first must amass a generous fortune of money. She hatches a plan with her soon to be ex, to have him reunite with his previous wife, and two daughters. At the same time, she plots to get as much money from her “enemies “ as possible.

This fast moving scheme has readers glued to the pages, as the plot moves between characters.

Thank you to NetGalley and Random House, Ballantine books for the opportunity to read this advanced copy.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Well, this next installment is very twisty! I enjoyed this so much more than book #1, The Last Mrs. Parrish. In this book, the dialogue is much more refined. While there are still some unbelievable parts of this saga, overall this book is my preference. It helped quite a bit that I went back and read the prequel to #1 (The Last Shot - free on Kindle Unlimited) because I had a much better frame of context for #2. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC.

I got a review copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I read the first Mrs. Parrish several summers ago and read it in one sitting. While I did not read this one in one sitting (boo work and life responsibilities), I did completely destroy this book in a few days. Liv Constantine has several involved parties in this story. The usual suspects of Daphne and Amber are two POVs that we get but then there is a third, Daisy Ann. I loved playing detective to try to read each of Daisy Ann's chapters as slow as I could (which is nearly impossible for me) to figure out what her purpose is in the story. Once everything came together, I was in no way disappointed and was completely outraged. Everything I expected out of this novel. I will despise Jackson forever and stand firmly that karma will get you eventually (and it did for him, thank god). This is a great summer pool read that you must add to your summer TBR.

Thank you for an ARC of The Next Mrs Parrish in exchange for an honest review.

I thoroughly enjoyed the sequel to Liv Constantine’s book, The Last Mrs Parrish. Like it’s the first book, it’s filled with twists and turns, deceit and greed. It got a little bit overwhelming with the multiple POVs. There are a lot of names to remember. And while I was wondering where some of these characters were going, it was all wrapped up nicely in the end.

Will there be another installment in the Mrs. Parrish books? It didn’t leave you on a cliffhanger, but I feel as though it can have a part 3.

Similar to the first book in this series, this story is full of twists and turns that will keep you guessing to the end. Although it is #2 in the Mrs. Parrish series, this book could easily be read on its own. The story includes threats, revenge, and more than one "mastermind" who think they have the best plan figured out. With a murder investigation added to the plot, it's a race to be the first to point fingers at the others.

Liv Constantine has become a must read for me and The Next Mrs. Parrish might be the most excited I've been for a book release in a while. The sequel to the suspense filled, The Last Mrs. Parrish, this addition to the story did not disappoint.

I've been waiting years to find out how Amber's, Jackson's, and Daphne's stories end. Just as the first novel did, my emotions and opinions of the characters are pulled in all directions. I found myself far too invested in the decisions each of them make and just needed to know what woman could possibly be stupid enough to be the NEXT Mrs. Parrish.

Thank you NetGalley and Random House Publishing for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you Net Galley for helping me get my hands on this ARC. I LOVE a book that makes you fall in love with the villain and this book was just that (as was the The last Mrs. Parrish) I loved the twists and turns. This was a really fun read. It has everything you want: love, a little spice, all kinds of emotions, and a murder! Both Mrs. Parrish books are classics for me!

Had an ARC of this book- was so excited! I absolutely loved the first book… this one fell a little short of five stars for me. Still great, don’t get me wrong- but I thought there were too many spinning parts and my hatred of Amber and Jackson made me cringe through way too much of the book….
It was just slightly less believable than the first book, but I really enjoyed it and am happy I got to experience it before publication!

Wow! The next Mrs. Parrish was perfect! Not predictable which lead for the prefect roller coaster thrill of a read. The characters in this book have such detail and descriptions you truly can envision that you really know them and are there with them. I loved this book so much, thank you for this fantastic read.

This book was just like the first one and I didn't care for either of them. I wanted to DNF this book so bad but I kept at it so I could finish it.

Thank you to Random House Publishing and NetGalley for this E-ARC.

Applause to the two sisters who manage to captivate me every time. The writing is phenomenal. The storyline is amazing. I love everything they write. I seem to forget time and space as soon as I pick up one of their books.

Continuing from The Last Mrs Parrish, we still get to follow Daphne, Amber and Jackson.

When I heard that there was going to be a sequel to the first book, I will admit, I was confused. Was it just going to be from Ambers perspective of trying to do what Daphne did? What was going to happen? Let me tell you! I actually can’t tell you. You really just have to read the book and find out.

I can however tell you not to worry like I did. The book is still just as good as the first one. Multiple times did I find myself yelling at the book thinking the characters were being dumb. I could’ve calmed down. I’ll remind myself of that next time.

Read it. You won’t be disappointed.
