5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️when you can’t put the book down and stay up til 2am to finish, you know you have a good book!! The last Mrs. Parrish was one 1st books i’ve finished years ago and the story has stayed with me, it was my first intro to domestic thrillers and i never looked back since! So excited when i got approved for an ARC copy of this one, i really wanted to know what happened next!
This novel did not disappoint! It was as twisty and as anger inducing as i thought it would be! Pace, plot and ending was very satisfying!
Jackson Parrish is out of prison and he’s willing to do anything to get Daphne and his girls back. Amber (Jackson’s current wife) wants to be rich and she’s willing to do anything to get money. Daphne (Jackson’s ex wife) is happy with her girls in her new town and she is willing to do anything to protect them. This book is full of lies, cheating, corruption, manipulation, and murder. The question is who is cheating who and who will win in the end.
Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for this ARC. #Netgalley #thenextmrsparrish

Once again Liv Constantine grasps your attention immediately. Amber and Jackson are the most horrible people and are back to get revenge on Daphne. The book starts with Jackson in prison and Amber scheming to get away from him and steal his money for good. But in true Jackson fashion he has many tricks up his sleeves. Daphne continues to be gullible and falls once again as Jackson"s prey. Amber continues to steal and manipulate, but she has finally met her match in Daisy Ann. The twists and turns in this book are fast! The ending is so satisfying and that's all I will say without spoiling. This is a sequel you don't want to miss.
I was held prisoner much like Daphne in The Last Mrs. Parrish until I finished this book. Amber is bacccccck and she is as vile as ever! 👹
Very rarely does a sequel live up to the original but Liv knocked it out of the park with The Next Mrs. Parrish.
This book has it all:
DECEIT
GREED
SOCIOPATH
CON ARTIST
DEVIOUS
MANIPULATION
REVENGE
Truly, a twisty read. Buy it, borrow it, or steal it, but by all means, read it!
Having loved The Last Mrs Parrish, I was unfortunately let down by this sequel which delivered three rather lacklustre POVs, with superficial, surface-level narratives.
1 POV was in first person while the other two were in third, and it was not clear until later in the book how some of these characters were connected. This book did a decent job of retaining the key threads of its predecessor (though not hard to do, given the one-dimensionality of some of the characters). Although it had been a while since I'd been in the world of Bishops Harbor, I didn't feel like I'd forgotten much once these characters were reactivated in my mind.
Overall we didn't need more from these characters: they spent the whole book repeating old habits, displaying little to no character development. So many of the villainous lines from Jackson felt forced, cringey and unrealistic, which punctured the realism for me. I think the first book is great as a standalone, and while The Next Mrs Parrish was not BAD per se, I felt myself waiting for it to be over.
Thank you to Netgalley for an early copy in exchange for an honest review.

after loving the first two books in the MRS. PARRISH series, i was over the moon to be selected to review this arc! before reading this book, i can’t stress enough how important it is to read or listen to the sequel of THE LAST MRS. PARRISH, titled THE LAST SHOT. this story will come together and make significantly more sense if you’ve read the first two books before starting this one!
with that being said, this book was giving me constant whiplash with the plot twists and turns. i enjoyed the multiple POVs and the introduction of daisy ann’s character. the last 30% of the book flew by. every time i thought the story was wrapping up, i would be surprised with another cliff hanger. i think the writing could be advanced slightly - there were some repetitive details that i felt were unnecessary to the story development. otherwise, i loved the creativity and fun that the author had with this book. i was entertained until the last sentence! (no seriously, LOVED the last sentence and how it ended.)
Thank you NetGalley, RandomHouse Publishing Group, and Liv Constantine for the copy of The Next Mrs. Parrish.
This is a great continuation of Daphne, Amber, and Jackson’s stories. Loved the addition of Daisy Ann. This book kept me hooked and made me feel so many emotions.
I really wanted to like this! It felt too forced and pretty predictable if you’ve read the first one. The main characters are such horrible people that it makes it hard to connect with the story. The ending also bugged me because we don’t really know what happens next (and I hate that!) I didn’t read the novella in between these two so I don’t know if that would have made a difference.
Amber Patterson Parrish is living a high life while her husband, Jackson, serves time in prison for tax-evasion. Her time alone is coming to an end and the balance in Jackson’s bank account has taken a nose dive as Amber surrendered to her every whim during his absence. As Amber plots the next chapter of her life, she makes a self-serving decision that may put everyone in danger.
Daphne Parrish is moving on with her life in California far away from the horrors she faced with her ex-husband in Bishops Harbor but when her oldest daughter, Tallulah, starts acting out because she misses her father, Daphne makes the tough decision to spend the summer in the town she worked so hard to escape. Jackson claims to be a changed man but as Daphne works to allow him back in her daughters’ lives, she feels herself becoming ensnared in his webs of deceit all over again. Will Daphne be able to escape with her daughters before it is too late?
We are also introduced to Daisy Ann who owns a jewelry company based on her mother’s unique designs. Daisy Ann is grieving the loss of her parents, especially her father who died unexpectedly. Daisy Ann is determined to get to the bottom of her father’s death and bring the person responsible to justice. As she begins digging into the prime suspect’s past, she gets more than she bargained for.
Oh goodness, this book set my heart racing! I highly recommend even if you have not read the first book of the series. The authors quickly catch you up without being obvious about it. The story is told from the point of view of Daphne, Daisy Ann, and Amber with a chapter from Jackson’s perspective as well. I adore Daphne and detest Amber but who wouldn’t? Daisy Ann was a charming addition to the characters, and I really enjoyed getting to know her. I thought I might hate her for a second but she redeemed herself in the end ;) Without giving too much away, something so shocking happened about 85% through this book that I literally cried out. What a great twist! I can’t wait to read what Lynne and Valerie come up with next :)

I loved The Last Mrs Parrish so I was ecstatic to get a copy of the e-ARC for this sequel! Loved the twists, tension, and getting to revisit these characters. Definitely recommend if you enjoyed the first book!
I loved every bit of The Last Shot and The Last Mrs. Parrish. The Next Mrs. Parrish delivered and kept me on the edge of my seat. First of all, Amber and Jackson are the most diabolical characters I've encountered in a thriller. They are just so incredibly wicked that I became emotionally invested in their downfall. This element makes this thriller great, it kept me turning the page. Liv Constantine has a way of weaving several different POVs and giving a twist with a satisfying ending.
I was so excited to see that a sequel was released- thank you for approving me for an advanced copy! The story picks up about two years after we last left off- Jax Jr. is has grown into a sweet toddler while Mr. And Mrs. Parrish are living not so happily ever after. The vendettas live on and the plots for revenge become even more cruel. The cross country tale proves that the past will always catch up to you.
I absolutely adored "The Last Mrs. Parrish," so naturally, I couldn't wait to get my hands on "The Next Mrs. Parrish," and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!
Returning to the world of Daphne and Amber Parrish was like catching up with old friends, albeit ones with a flair for drama and deception. The story dives right back into the action, with twists and turns that kept me glued to the pages.
The plot is fast-paced and full of surprises. Just when you think you know where it's headed, Liv Constantine throws in another curveball that leaves you gasping. From old threats resurfacing to a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, the suspense never lets up.
What really makes this book shine, though, is the characters. Amber's transformation from a nobody to a socialite is captivating, and Daphne's strength and vulnerability make her a compelling protagonist. Their uneasy alliance against a common enemy adds an extra layer of tension to an already gripping story.
And speaking of enemies, the villain in this book is seriously chilling. As secrets from Amber's past come back to haunt her, the tension ramps up to an electrifying climax that had me on the edge of my seat.
In short, "The Next Mrs. Parrish" is a thrilling ride from start to finish. If you're a fan of psychological thrillers and suspenseful storytelling, this book is a must-read. Hats off to Liv Constantine for another fantastic addition to the Parrish series! Thank you to NetGalley for providing me this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
I have been waiting and waiting on this book for what seems like forever. It was well worth the wait. I think reading the prequel about Amber really helped because the daughter makes an appearance in this book and it gave it the background it needed. Amber really is just not a good person, just when at the end, you think she has a found a way out. We realize she hasn't. Sweet revenge.
The return of an even more deceitful and conniving Amber along with a more courageous Daphne is a thrilling read. The former and current Mrs. Parrish come alive with twists and turns. Liv Constantine has done it again with some new characters along with returning ones.
Thank you to #NetGalley for the advanced copy.
Thanks to NetGalley for the eARC. All opinions are my own.
I was so excited when I saw this book was coming out! I was even more excited to get an advanced copy. The Next Mrs. Parrish totally lived up to my expectations. There were so many twists I almost couldn't keep up. Every time I thought I knew where the story was going there was a plot twist and I just got deeper and deeper.
The one thing I didn't like as much was that the ending felt very rushed. With how much went on in the rest of the book I felt like the end was just there and was a little too convenient. Otherwise it was a great thriller and I really enjoyed it.
Great follow up to the last Mrs parish. Kept me invested from page to page and wanting to know what was going to happen each chapter.
The Next Mrs. Parrish was a roller coaster of a book. Told from alternate viewpoints where you weren’t sure how the stories would come together. All the characters finally came together and you didn’t know who to trust or believe. A solid 4 stars with a very solid ending.
The latest installment in Amber Parrish's series does not disappoint. With its dark secrets, complicated web of lies, and well-developed characters. This book will keep you on edge until the very end. To fully appreciate the plot and understand the motivations of the characters, I recommend reading The First Shot novella prior to diving into this page turning sequel.
Thank you NetGalley for this advanced copy of The Next Mrs. Parrish.
This book was mindblowing incredible I ate up the last Mrs Parrish and the second book didn’t not disappoint it gave me suspense , and kept me on my toes and I couldn’t get enough and the plot twist left my jaw on the floor 10/10
