I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this novel through NetGalley. I really enjoyed this sequel! It was much needed and allowed closure and justice to be served to the characters that needed it. It was fast faced and full of suspense. My only complaint is that the new character Daisy Ann seemed to be entered into the story without a proper introduction. I felt like the first few chapters from her prospective were hard to follow because we still had no idea who she was and how she fit into the story. It was still well worth the read and enjoyable. Thanks for the early release!

My first book by the duo Liv Constantine was The Last. Mrs. Parrish. After that one I was hooked. When I was given the opportunity to read The Next Mrs. Parrish ahead of its June 18th release date I immediately dove in.

If you haven’t read the prequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish, The First Shot- do so before picking up the newest book in this story. It gives the background you need on how Amber became “Amber” & there are characters that end up with strong storylines in The Next Mrs. Parrish.

The Next Mrs. Parrish reunites us with Daphne, Amber & Jackson as well as Daisy-Ann (from The First Shot) and gives us the POV from each of the women. I love stories through the eyes of different characters & this was no exception. Without giving away any spoilers the writing was excellent (as expected from this duo) and Jackson had me so infuriated at times I could have screamed. The way the story ends I expect this to be our final time in Bishop Heights but was pleased with the outcome & all loose ends tied up.

This book had me on edge most of the time reading & will absolutely be a must read this summer. A sequel to a book as strong as The Next Mrs. Parrish had big shoes to fill but absolutely succeeded. Thank you to NetGalley, Random House Publishing-Ballentine & Liv Constantine for the opportunity to read The Next Mrs. Parrish ahead of its June 18th publish date!

Anyone who knows me knows that Liv Constantine is one of my absolute favorites so having the opportunity to read this ARC is on my list of top favorite reading moments.

That being said, The Next Mrs. Parrish is without a doubt going to be THE read of the summer. I absolutely DEVOURED this book and was at the edge of my seat from start to finish. There was so much going on however everything flowed so smoothly and seamlessly. The twists kept me on my toes, the deception came from ALL angles and the anxiety was real for me!

I also highly recommend reading the short story (prequel) entitled The First Shot before diving into this one! The Next Mrs. Parrish will be available on June 18th!

THANK YOU to Netgalley, Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine and Liv Constantine for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Oh boy, they did it again. Make sure you read the prequel prior to this one or you may be a bit confused.

I thought it was fun, had plenty of twists and turns and was a quick entertaining read. At this point it is probably time to retire the Mrs. Parrish saga but, I do think it was wrapped up nicely and if you have read anything by Liv Constantine then you have to add this to your TBR.

First off, I loved the original. I was really excited for the is but to me the pace is off and there is a lot going on. There are so many characters and storylines introduced and though it wraps up nicely it was hard to get thru.

I loved book one and this one started strong. I would say that the way it went forward felt like a soap opera and was a bit much for me.

I felt this book was better than the first. It seemed to keep me more engaged and I read it much faster. I can’t say I have ever loathed a character more than Amber but Jackson is right up there with her. She is truly an awful person! It’s packed full of drama and will keep you on your toes throughout. Overall, great read!

I almost threw the Last Mrs. Parrish away after I finished the 1st section with Daphne. I was told to go on and finish the book. I was so glad I did. Then I saw this one, the sequel. I couldn’t wait to read it.
While I don’t think it was as great as the first one, I still loved it! It did not disappoint! There were a lot of twists and turns and you weren’t sure what was going on all of the time.
Loved the ending!
Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Jackson and Amber were made for each other, their relationship is based on manipulation and deceit so it's no surprise when they agree to help each other. Jackson wants to win Daphne back. Amber wants to get back at Daisy Ann, a new character that plays a significant role. This was a quick and fun read, the storyline isn't the most complicated. Even though this is a sequel, I thought this could be read as a standalone. However, to really see what a sociopath Jackson is, read The Last Mrs Parrish first.

The Last Mrs. Parrish marked my initiation into the world of thrillers back in 2020, reigniting my passion for reading. So, naturally, when I received approval for this ARC, I was over the moon!

Returning to the lives of Amber, Daphne, and Jackson was a fun experience, witnessing how their narrative unfolded further.

Having read The First Shot, the prequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish, I felt well-prepared with the backstory of Amber and Daisy Ann. However, this did make the initial sections of this book feel somewhat repetitive.

While the twists in The Next Mrs. Parrish were satisfying, they leaned more towards drama than true thriller elements. Despite lacking in shocking revelations, the story remained engaging, keeping me invested in its outcome.

Overall, revisiting this world and its characters was a pleasurable journey, and the conclusion tied everything up neatly.

Special thanks to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for providing an advanced copy of this book!

This is a fun continuation of the original--much more inventive than I expected, actually. Lots of plot twists and unexpected connections. If you enjoyed the first one, you might enjoy this even more. Perfect beach read--almost a bummer I wasn't in a chair at the water's edge LOL. Sometimes the dialogue or the character shifts seem a little discordant (SPOILER: who knew how easy it would be to convert the teenage daughter LOL), but it reminds me of enjoying something like Dallas or Dynasty back in the day. It's a little over-the-top, a little camp, and that is what you are here for. Enjoy! Thank you NetGalley and Bantam/Random House for the ARC and the opportunity to share my review.

It brings me great pleasure to say that The Next Mrs. Parrish is a fantastic sequel to the original.

Jackson Parrish has spent the last year in jail following his tax evasion arrest in the previous novel, and in this time, Amber Parrish has risen to the top of the Bishops Harbor social list, doing whatever she pleases. That’s about to come to an end as Jackson is about to be released from prison and their money is drying up. Meanwhile, Jackson’s ex-wife Daphne, free from her abusive husband, has been living a peaceful life with their daughters in California. Her daughter Tallulah misses her father though, and when she runs away from home, Daphne agrees to spend the summer back in Bishops Harbor for supervised visits. Jackson is desperate to get his family back though just the way it was…and rid Amber from the picture. Then, there’s Daisy Ann. She’s got a history with Amber and is desperate to bring her to justice. Amber always has a plan though…she won’t go down easy.

The summary of this book sounds complicated, and at times, it is. With three different POVs this time around, I think they’re all woven together pretty seamlessly. I did read the novella The First Shot, which is a prequel to Amber (and Daisy Ann’s) story, though I would say it’s not necessary as this book fills you in on their history. It’s twisty and definitely thrilling. I didn’t expect the ending either, with a surprise POV I didn’t expect.

Ultimately, I think I liked the first book more, but this one is pretty fun too!

Thank you to Netgalley and Random House Bantam for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The sequel to one of my favorite books? YES, even though I loved the first one more this book was not disappointing! I liked that it could be read as a standalone also. It was filled with characters that I came to hate but loved and lots of turns and twists. I would highly recommend this book to add to your list! This book was fast paced, and the ending made me laugh in an evil way!

This is a FANTASTIC follow up to The Last Mrs. Parrish. This book is extremely fast paced and it has a lot of moving parts, but I feel it is still easy to follow. There are plenty of unpredictable twists without being overly dramatic. And finally, *spoiler alert* it is SO NICE to see justice served after all of the pain Daphne went through in the first book, and most of this book. I was starting to be afraid that the bad guys would win but finally, everyone got what they deserved. This is a great thriller and I highly recommend!

Thank you so much to Netgalley and Random House Publishing group for the opportunity to read this advance copy!

The Next Mrs. Parrish…I was elated the characters from The Last Mrs. Parrish continued. In addition to introducing characters from Texas and Colorado.
The story would bring Daphne from California back to Bishops Harbor and Jackson’s narcissistic behavior. Jackson Parrish and Daphne divorced after cheating with vengeful Amber. Amber fell pregnant with Jackson’s son Jax. Of course, the union didn’t last long. Jackson had his own plans which included getting Daphne and their girls back under his roof. Meanwhile, Amber plotted the takeover of White Orchids, stole from Jackson, and relocate to Europe.
Everyone eventually gets what they rightfully deserve as the story comes full circle. I give this a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thank you to Net Galley & Publisher for my ARC.

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the Last Mrs Parrish and was excited to read this one early. It was twisty and full of surprises. I will admit I wanted to shake Daphne at times but overall I really liked the book. I will continue to recommend both while working at the bookstore when asked about my favorites in the genre!

This book was full of twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. At times, it was hard to keep up with some of the intertwining story lines.

The Next Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine. (Liv Constantine is the pen name of sisters Lynne Constantine and Valerie Constantine) This is the sequel to The Last Mrs Parrish which I read a few years ago. This one has a June release date so if you haven’t read the first book you have time. There are several very unlikeable characters in this one.. I mean, they are terrible people!! BUT this is a must-read! Thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat and canceling all plans so you can finish in one sitting!!! 5 stars! #netgalley

Jackson, Amber, Daphne, and Daisy Ann are BACK and better than ever. Jackson has spent the last couple of years in prison. Amber is running out of money and wants to move on to richer pastures. Jackson is adament that money will come and to NOT sell the yacht. Amber, being the cunning woman that she is, goes to the yacht and finds over 20 million dollars in rare diamonds .Jackson finds out and is determined to get his money back along with Daphne and his two daughters who have escaped to California. Jackson tricks his daughters and Daphne to come visit and the manipulation and cycle of abuse begins all over again. Daphne can't take it, Amber wants out, and Jackson wants to stop them both.

Daisy Ann is the newer character in the book. Amber was married to her father (yes a gold digger moment) and Daisy is convinced that Amber killed her father. Amber finds herself in Daisy's social circle where she is breifly embarrased by Daisy Ann at a jewlery gala. From that moment on, Amber knew she was going to RUIN Daisy's life....but Amber should not underestimate Daisy and the rage she feels about her fathers death.

The second that I saw that Constantine was coming out with another Parrish, I IMMEDIATELY requested it on NetGalley. The second I got the approval, you would have thought I won the lottery. I could not wait to immerse myself in Daphne and Amber's antics (and hopefully avoid Jackson's sociopathic behavior). The sequel did not disappoint. Now, I don't think that it beat the first, but it came damn close. As I read, I felt myself constantly thinking, "Who is going to backstab who next" which is always a fun way to read a thriller. Also, who doesn't love a revenge, redemption, and w0men working together story? Now, I wasn't crazy about the new character and her story line. I felt that I wanted more of Amber and Daphne, but it really didn't take away from the story itself.

Read this immediately! Thank you to Bantam and Penguin Random House for the ARC!

Thanks NetGalley for the ARC.
This was twisty and entertaining, but I the characters hard to like. I was a huge fan of the first book, so I had high expectations. The many POV were fun but at times there was too much going on for me. I did like book one better 😬 but this kept my attention.
