Finlay and Vero were a wild time, as per usual. Elle Cosimano never fails to have me laughing out loud. The girls' night with Finlay's mom was absolutely fabulous, and I will never stop rooting for Nick.

I love that this series just keeps adding more books - just when you think Finlay can't possibly get up to anymore misadventures, she steps in it again. This series is a quick read with characters you just can't help but root for.

I really enjoyed the first two in this series, but they are losing their luster as the series goes on. I do love the ultimate humor and mostly relatable situations, but some situations are just too far fetched.

Another fun book in the Finlay series! I actually prefer listening to this series instead of reading because I feel the narrator does such a great job with the characters, their voices and comedic timing. Thanks for the ALC!!

I was so happy to be back with Finlay and Vero. Although this has the same signature style of book one: crazy, entertaining, LOL funny and completely far fetched in the very best way, it stull felt fresh. I loved seeing the characters evolve and the side characters getting more time. What a great group, including Finlay's mom, who is a hoot!
The narration of this series is one of the best!

A welcome addition to this fun series! In Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice we’re immediately thrust back into Finlay and Vero's vivid, precarious world. The story starts right as the last novel ended. Finlay and Vero are on the run and find themselves with some extra companions (Finlay's sparkplug mom and ex-husband) as they head to Atlantic City, New Jersey. I love the snark and light-hearted tone of this series and found this to be enjoyable like the previous books. Though some of the antics are a little far-fetched, it's such a fun ride with action, mystery, and romance. It took a little while to pick up steam, but the second half was so compelling and action-packed! Angela Dawe is a pitch-perfect narrator for Finlay and other characters. The audiobooks for this series are so fun!
Thank you Macmillan Audio and NetGalley for providing this audiobook. All thoughts are my own.

Not only is this one of my favorite series but the narration is PERFECTION. Listening is my favorite way of consuming these. And I do say consume because a Finlay Donovan book I go through quicker than any other. I tell everyone about this series. Totally obsessed!!!

I have absolutely devoured this series and this fourth installment was no exception. Finlay and Vero are back again and this time headed to Atlantic City for a girls weekend, but in typical fashion they have other motives for being there as well. Their antics will keep you turning pages and laughing out loud throughout. Trouble seems to find them wherever they go. I have seen this series described as fun and over the top and I would totally agree. These stories will keep you guessing and in stitches all at the same time. From the ending, it appears there will be a book five and I will totally be there for it!
Book 4 picks up right where the third book left off so this is definitely a series you want to start at the beginning and read in order.
The narrator of this audiobook did a fantastic job with all the different voices and the pacing of the story. I had no complaints.
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for a copy of this audiobook. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Oh my goodness! I recommend this series to everyone! It makes me laugh out loud whether I'm reading it or listening to it and I do binge it in both mediums. Finlay and Vero are back at it and this time they are off to Atlantic City to rescue Javi but this time Finlay's ex-husband, Steven, and her mother are insisting they are coming along which means the kids are too. What could go wrong!?! Kids, casino, ex, crazy mom, oh, add in Finlay and Vero who are magnets for chaos and all bets are off. I can only hope this series goes on and on for years!

I want to thank the publisher, netgalley, and the author for the free copy of this book. Unfortunately this story just wasn’t for me but I will be trying books from this author again in the future.

This is so far the least favorite of the series, but I still had a good time. I enjoyed the fast pacing, characters, and the plot of the story
I didn't care for the trip to/around AC, but it was okay. Cannot wait to see what happens to Finlay and the others in the next book in the series.
Thank you, NetGalley, and publishers for this arc for a honset review.

Elle Cosimano's Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice is a hilarious and suspenseful addition to the series, following Finlay and her partner-in-crime, Vero, as they embark on a chaotic road trip to Atlantic City. Their "girls' weekend" quickly spirals into a wild adventure involving loan sharks, kidnappings, and stolen cars, all while juggling family drama. Cosimano masterfully blends humor and mystery, delivering a fast-paced romp that keeps readers laughing and on the edge of their seats. If you're a fan of quirky, action-packed capers, this one's a must-read.

I've enjoyed the Finlay Donovan series so far. Still reminds me of my favorite things about the Stephanie Plum series. In Finlay Donvan Rolls the Dice, the story picks up after the ending of book 3 with Finlay and Vera hitting the road for a girls weekend in Atlantic City. Of course it wouldn't be a Finlay novel without a dead body, a mystery to solve and plenty of shenanigans to go around.
3.5 stars rounded up for goodreads

A Wild Ride with Finlay and Vero
Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice is the fourth and hilarious installment in Elle Cosimano's beloved series. Finlay and Vero are back at it again, this time navigating the treacherous waters of Atlantic City while dodging Russian mobsters and parenting Finlay's unruly children.
The authors' signature blend of fast-paced action, witty banter, and outrageous situations is on full display. The dynamic duo's ability to land themselves in increasingly absurd predicaments never fails to entertain.
While some readers may find the constant chaos overwhelming, it's precisely this over-the-top nature that makes the series so enjoyable. The audiobook narration by Angela Dawe is exceptional, bringing the characters to life with her spot-on performances.
If you're looking for a fun and escapist read, Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice is a perfect choice. Just remember to suspend disbelief and embrace the absurdity.

I had a rough, rough day at work yesterday and decided to escape to Finley and Vero's world with their over-the-top antics. There were two moments that were a little too much--I know that the entire book could be considered too much, but these moments went beyond the usual things we can expect from this duo. I finished the book this morning with a smile on my face knowing that there will most likely be a fifth book.

I really loved the humor throughout this series in the beginning, unfortunately I think this series is wrapping up a bit too slowly for my taste. Will I still continue to read each new release? Absolutely, but I am slowly losing interest.

Picking up from the cliffhanger ending of book 3, Finlay and Vero are getting ready to hightail it to Atlantic City. Well, first Steven decided he had to come along, then Finlay’s mother and then it seems like everybody and his brother are there. They no sooner arrive in AC, then they find the man they’ve come to see dead in a hotel bathroom with his associate also dead in the suite.

Apologies for the late notes, cleaning up my notebook! Thank you for the opportunity to review - I also reviewed the ebook version, and loved the continuation of this series!

3.5⭐️ Finlay and Vero are back, and this time their fun shenanigans return with a road trip to Atlantic City!
This is the fourth book in the series, which picks right up where the last book left off. Trouble always seems to find Finlay in the right place at the wrong time, but with a sidekick like Vero, the story is always sure to bring the laughs.
*many thanks to Minotaur Books, Netgalley and Macmillan audio for the gifted copy for review

Finlay and Vero are back! I am a big fan of this series. Book 3 was a bust but book 4 is back with the banter, action, tension, and mystery elements I love about this series!
The two girls plan a trip to Atlantic City for a girls weekend and to negotiate a deal with a dangerous loan shark, save Javi, and look for a stolen car. Finlay's ex, Steven, and her mother also insist on coming along for the ride too.
I love Elle's writing and her banter and dialogue between Finlay and Vero are some of my favorites between a detective duo. The mysteries are also fun but I've been sticking with this series for their friendship and hijinks!
