Religious hatred has led to genocide all over the world. In India, Indira Gandhi's assassination led to murder of Sikhs. In this book, the voice of a widow whose husband had been doused with gasoline and set afire, relates what happened to her and the children after his death. And the student who was with the Professor when he was killed returns to India to talk to the widow. Opens up a lot of history I bet India would like to push under the rug. Well done and thoughtful.
