I’m a longtime fan of Harlan Coben and I love his Myron Bolitar series and was excited to finally have another to read. I was kept on the edge of my seat with all the twist and turns! I never saw the ending coming! The way the characters are developed makes you feel like they are old friends and you become so invested in the outcome. I highly recommend this one and any other book written by Harlan Coben!

Think Twice by Harlan Coben (Myron Bolitar series, book #12) is off to a running start with Myron being drawn into a case where his former basketball rival, Greg Downing’s DNA is present at the site of a murder. The catch is, Greg was dead and they attended his funeral – or is he?
This is another great Myron Bolitar episode, and while it is book #12, it is just as thrilling as book #1. I did not predict most of the plot or the ending so it was a total surprise.
Harlan Coben once again drew us into the world of Myron, Win and the whole cast of characters easily and it feels like these are people we’ve grown to know and for some, even love.
I was excited to read this new episode and was not disappointed. Can’t wait for the next one!
I thank NetGalley & Grand Central Publishing for this copy. My comments and thoughts are all my own.

Fans of Myron Bolitar (and who isn’t?) will be delighted as award winning and bestselling author, Harlan Coben, releases the twelfth installment of the Myron Bolitar series, Think Twice. In this novel, Myron finds that one of his clients, (and nemesis on the basketball court since they were kids), Greg Downing, who died a few years before, is the prime suspect, due to his DNA being found at the scenes of two murders. Myron follows clues to see if Greg really faked his death, and interacts with his ex-girlfriend, Emily, and his biological son, Jeremy. Of course Myron’s best friend, Win (extremely rich with no conscience) is also involved, as well as old characters from previous books, and they work to get to the bottom of things. One thing that will entertain readers is Myron’s relationship with his parents, and their lifestyle as retirees in Florida.
One of the things that stand out in Coben’s books is the humor in the underlying suspenseful plots. The scenarios are a little unbelievable, but somehow Coben finds a way to make this novel, (as well as his previous ones) totally unputdownable. Actually, this one is almost farcical. Coben’s brilliant storytelling ability coupled with his excellent development of the characters (which makes them like real people and old friends) makes his novels (this one included) amazing reads.
Even though there is humor, there is serious suspense and danger to favorite characters. Readers will be unsure of the dénouement until the very end, and will be glued to the book. Harlan Coben has done it again, and has earned his kudos.
Special thanks to NetGalley for supplying a review copy of this book.

How can a man who’s already dead be wanted for murder? Three years ago, sports agent Myron Bolitar gave a eulogy at the funeral of his client, renowned basketball coach Greg Downing. Myron and Greg had history: initially as deeply personal rivals, and later as unexpected business associates. Myron made peace and moved on – until now, when two federal agents walked into his office, demanding to know where Greg Downing is. According to the agents, Greg is still alive and has been placed at the scene of a double homicide, making him their main suspect. Shocked, Myron needs answers! He enlists his longtime friend Win to help him find the truth! This book was definitely a good read! It had suspense, intrigue, action, murder, mystery, and some crazy twists and turns! The storyline was interesting! I would recommend reading this book, its worth reading it just wasn't one of my all time favorite! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

I’ve read many of Harlan Coben’s books and they’re always fast paced and full of suspense. I will say this was my first in the Myron Bolitar series!
When Myron’s old client’s DNA comes up at a murder scene, everyone is shocked because Greg Downing is supposedly dead! So now Myron and his partner Win investigate and this takes us on a wild ride. How many murders will be uncovered? This is a fun quick book with witty characters that will keep you in your toes.

4.5🌟
I’m a dedicated series buff and have a handful I’ve been reading for years, (and years.) This is one of my hands-down favorites!
In this latest release, one of Myron’s old rivals on (and off) the basketball court, who was also a previous client is wanted by the FBI. Just one little hitch…this client has been dead for years! Can the dynamic duo find this man (dead or alive) before the FBI? Or have Myron and Win finally met their match?
I’ve noticed as a series progresses, typically we age but the characters remain youthful and vibrant. Or, the characters age right along with us. To be honest I’m not sure which is better.
Harlan Coben took the latter approach, allowing Myron and Win to age. I actually found this a bit unsettling and even sad. There is fragility in all the characters. They are very human now. Is that a good thing?
There were times when I’d get teary as Myron would point out how he notices changes in Win as well as in his parents. Perhaps it’s just the clash between fantasy and the realities of life that strikes a chord.
Can this book be read as a stand-alone? There’s certainly enough backstory that you can easily follow along. BUT… you’d be missing out one of the best series ever! So just some friendly advice…start at the beginning!
A buddy read with Susanne that left us both a bit speechless by the end.
Thank you to NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing

Wonderful book by Coben featuring the beloved characters of Win and Myron. This tale dips into Myron's past. Myron and Win tales are always great to read.

I’m hesitant to admit this but, even though I’m a big fan of this author, I had not previously read any of this series. I had read and enjoyed ‘Win’ so the characters were easy to follow. I had no problem reading as a standalone and loved the twisted plot. An old friend of Myron’s is dead and buried, but could still be alive. As friends Win and Myron chase down theories and leads more questions than answers arise. There are some complicated genetic issues involved between fathers and sons. It was a story I couldn’t stop reading and sped through it in about twenty-four hours. I loved the depth of characters and the plot was convoluted and unpredictable. I would go back and read more of the series and hope there’ll be more to come.
Thanks to NetGalley for the advance reader copy of “Think Twice” a Myron Bolitar novel #12, by Harlan Coben, published by Grand Central Publishing, Hachette Book Group, expected publication 05/14/2024. These are all my own personal thoughts and opinions given voluntarily without expectation of compensation.

This was my first book I've read in the Myron Bolitar series and it did not disappoint! I thought that the character development between Myron and Win was great, they had an easy friendship and their banter really made the story that much more enjoyable. The author did a great job laying out the plot, Myron is an ex agent for Greg, and they share a past. But his DNA shows up and Byron and Win are on the search for Greg, who is apparently not dead. The twists in this book kept me guessing up until the very end!

Former basketball star’s life is thrown for a loop when the feds come knocking at his door asking about a friend who died years ago. As Myron learns more about how his, thought to be dead, friend got on the FBI’s radar he finds himself twisted in a more complicated story than expected. Is he searching for his ‘dead’ friend or a serial killer?
This is Coben’s 12th book in the Myron Bolitar series. This is my first book I’ve read of the series.
I would say Coben does enough catch up and explaining that a reader doesn’t have to be afraid to pick up this book without reading the first 11 books. I didn’t feel I was missing anything as I dove into the story.
The story itself pulled me in instantly. Coben is a master at story telling (obviously) and he will not let down fans with this latest thriller. From dialogue to action scenes to twists along the way, you won’t be bored.
For me, personally, I’m not a huge fan of basketball. So any mention of it annoyed me. Although again, Coben included it masterfully and appropriately for the novel.
Overall though, it’s no wonder why many of Coben’s novels get adapted into movies. The book reads like a movie playing in my head.
It’s hard to critique an author like Coben. He is a master of his craft.
***Thank you to Grand Central Publishing, NetGalley and the master himself, Harlan Coben, for a copy of the ARC in exchange for an honest review. Publishing on May 14, 2024.

It seems that we have waited 500 years for a new Myron Bolitar book and the wait did not disappoint!!!! I absolutely love this series! Thanks, Harlan!

Loved Think Twice,The Latest in Coben’s Myron Bolitar Series!
This is must-read for fans of Myron Bolitar….and, of course, Win.. It will likely also be favorably reacted to by Coben fans who haven't read this series, but most likely not to the same degree due to their lack of familiarity with the past relationships of Myron, Win, Myron’s parents and several of the other well-developed characters. Regardless of your past experience with this series, Coben’s exciting plot, with its myriad of twists and turns, will keep you glued to the pages until you come to the very last page, which will likely cause you to sacrifice hours of sleep.
I’ve read all of the books in this series and enjoyed them all, with Think Twice being my favorite. Highly recommended.!
#Think Twice. #Net Galley

When I was selected to read an ARC for this book I literally screamed for joy! Myron and Win are two of my favorite characters ever written and I have missed them so much. To learn Myron is back as a Sports Agent and we get to catch up with Esperanza, Big Cyndi and Terese was very exciting. it felt like old times and I was meeting up with old friends. I appreciated all of the characters brought into this book, including Mickey.
In true Harlan Coben form this was a page tuner. If I could have take the day off to finish the book. I would have. The plot was great and the twists even better. However, my stomach was in knots ar the end when I thought we might lose Myron. I never figured out the end and it was definitely a great pet twist. Great book and Harlan Cohen thank you for taking me back into the world of Myron. It was a comfort and a joy. Even if win only said "Articulate" only once.
Excellent book. highly recommend and I really, really hope there will be another Myron book! Heck, I hope there are several more!

Harlen Coben's new Myron Bolivar novel, Think Twice, is a winner! This just may be his best Myron/Win book yet. In Think Twice, the whole crew is back and trying to track down a serial killer. It started a little slow but with each chapter, the suspense just kept building. Every time I had to put it down, I was rushing to get back to see what happened next.
If you are looking for a top notch mystery, this is the one to try. It is funny, suspenseful, and full of twists and turns.I have always enjoyed Coben's writing style and the characters are like old familiar friends. For a fast entertaining, easy read, full of surprises, this is a winner. I am always ready for a new Coben novel and they never disappoint.

Years after Myron Bolitar, a sports agent, eulogies basketball coach Greg Dowling with whom he has a complicated relationship, federal agents come looking for him claiming he's still alive. When Myron and his closest friend Win join the search, long buried secrets are revealed putting him in the killer's cross hairs.

I could tell that it had been a while since I had read a Myron Bolitar book as there was a lot that I didn't remember. It didn't matter as I was immediately swept into the story.
The FBI shows up at Myron's office asking questions about a former client. His DNA had been found at a crime scene. What is unique about that is that this former client is dead. He also has/had a long history with Myron as his ex-wife is the mother of Myron's son.
Myron and Win set out to find out what the story is....Is he dead? How did this happen? We travel with them to Vegas, Myron heads to Montana and various spots back east.
All of this ties into the FBI searching for a serial killer. How can this possibly be connected?
What I really enjoyed was Myron reflecting on himself and Win growing older...They look older, they feel older. It helped to connect with them since I've been reading these books for 20 years. Another good outing by Mr. Coben.

This is book 12 of the Myron Bolitar series. This series is the one that hooked me on Coben’s writing! Book 11 came out in 2016 so I was so excited to get this Advance copy! Thanks #netgalley. The publication date is May 14, 2024. Even though this is book 12 you could read this as a standalone. I suggest binging all 12 of them as fast as possible if you like thrillers! I love Myron’s character but also the whole group of extended characters is just the best! Win! Big Cyndi! Esperanza Diaz! Myrons parents! This one had me on the edge of my seat! I was so happy to be back in Myron’s world that I didn’t want to finish and be done BUT I had to know what was going to happen!! Roller coaster to the end! All the stars for this one!

Myron and Win are back!
Myron is getting back to the sports agency business with the paint not dry on the door, when two FBI agents appear in his office looking for one of his former clients. Former, because he is dead. Isn’t he?
The FBI doesn’t seem to think so and they are demanding to see him. But Myron and Win have no idea where he is or what is going on.
Greg Downing, the man in question, was/is the husband of Emily and father to Jeremy. And we all know whose father Jeremy is.
The feds have DNA at not one, but two murder scenes that match Gregs.
As Myron and Win look into things they find more murders and maybe Greg.
This may be my favorite so far. Coben has a very active imagination and I hope we see more of Myron and Win! Soon…

I love Harlan Coben so I knew i had to read this. Not knowing this was part of the larger Myron Bolitar series, i had to read this. Even as someone new to this series, i felt like I got enough background to handstand the characters just enough. I am sure with the entire series, i would know even more. This book had good pacing and was well written. The story keeps getting weirder as you continue through. I loved it and now want to read the other books in the series!
I received a free advanced copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Absolutely thrilled than Myron, Win, and the gang are back. It's been entirely too long. We always buy multiple copies for our library.
