What a beautiful book with a wonderful message. The story helps young readers to embrace all the feelings when you are worried or scared about something. The illustrations are beautiful and heartwarming.
The story talks about how everyone has a brave you inside them. We all just need to find it ♥️
Themes of bravery, feeling scared, perseverance and most importantly believing in yourself.
Great for younger readers and PSHE lessons.
Thank you to NetGalley and SourceBooks Kids for an advanced read copy of this book.
I Can Do It Even If I'm Scared is a great book to help young children cope with fear and overcome their anxieties. The book's illustrations reveal the story of a little elephant that overcomes her fears as the writer provides practical steps for young children on how to overcome things that may scare them.
This book would make an excellent addition for a social worker, school counselor, or special education teacher's library. Great for preschool or early elementary students, this book provides helpful ways for kids to overcome their worries in a healthy way that also builds their self-esteem.
We road tripped to Florida for spring break and I was so happy I had been approved for sixteen new children’s books coming out this year. It helped so much to break up some time with stories! The kids loved them and had so much fun picking out a book from my netgalley app to read. We didn’t read a single book we didn’t like! Tuckers favorite was Elmo’s new book, Kinley loved the fairy godmother book, Dawsyn loved the basketball one, and Briggs adored the animal book. I highly suggest adding all of these to your summer library reading lists for kids. I love children’s books, and these were full of beautiful illustrations, stories, and allowed us to have some great conversations after them. I can do it even if I’m scared is a story about getting kids to be brave and do things that worry them. It teaches the kids to face their fears and be the brave version of themselves.
I think this book had a great message for kids! It really focuses on facing your fears and being brave. That is helpful for kids to learn and put in practice. I also think the illustrations were cute and the kids will like looking at them.
Thanks so much to netgalley and sourcebook kids for the arc of this book in exchange for an honest review!
