I requested this several years ago and I don't think it's a book for me anymore. So I will not be reviewing at this time, but if I do read it, I will update this review. Thank you for the opportunity.

I found this book to be a bit too simple and too teen orientated for my taste. Maybe it's cause I'm not a target age anymore so I can't relate. Main character felt foolish at times but again and her relationship with Lewis was such an insta love I couldn't enjoy it at all. Also, I didn't like Lewis as a character cause he was all words and no action, claiming he loved her but doing nothing when she was in danger.
What I did like was premise and I wish actual mind reading was a more important part in the story cause most of the time it felt secondary to a romance plot. Even though it ended on cliffhanger,I will not be continuing with the series.

A typical tale of someone being head hunted and coveted by a group, then being used and exploited by the same group that coveted and saved them.
I enjoyed this book, it does take a little while to pick up, but it is a good read,
