Sinclair was so unbearably male. It was rare—as in never—that Alyss found herself feeling dominated by a man

On one hand I liked that the focus of the story was mainly on Alyss and Malcom, but I did miss getting more of the other Sinclair’s involved in the plot.

Right away I loved Malcom. He’s been much of a mystery until now. He’s introduced here, trying to get home to London, taking on a kidnapping job to help secure his passage out of France.

Alyss is a heroine I do not gel well with. Far too stubborn and prideful for her own good. Although I did see the attraction and chemistry between her and Malcolm, as he bantered magnificently with her and didn’t give her the chance one up him; which of course frustrated her.

This was a really quick read and even though I liked the couple the story was a little lackluster. The first 50% was paced pretty well and I enjoyed but I feel like the second half was one big missed opportunity. This would have been a much better story had it been longer with more obstacles or plot twists once they arrived back in London to really make these two work harder for their HEA. Alyss’s martyrdom just made it hard for me to enjoy.

**Review of "Sinfully Yours" by Kathleen Ayers**

"Sinfully Yours" by Kathleen Ayers is a passionate Regency romance that follows Lady Charlotte Sinclair, a spirited and independent woman determined to live life on her own terms, and the roguish Earl of Ravenswood, who is equally determined to win her heart.

Charlotte, full of wit and strength, likes to defy societal norms. The Earl of Ravenswood is the perfect foil to her independent spirit, with his charm and underlying vulnerability making him an irresistible romantic lead. Charlotte has sworn off marriage and keen to focus on her passion for painting. Her resolve is tested when she meets the charming and enigmatic Earl of Ravenswood at a society ball. The Earl, recently returned from the Continent with a scandalous reputation, is immediately captivated by Charlotte’s beauty and intelligence. As the two are thrown together by a series of social events and a shared interest in art, their initial attraction deepens into a complex and intense romance. However, their burgeoning relationship is threatened by secrets from Ravenswood’s past and Charlotte’s fear of losing her independence. The novel’s tension escalates as they navigate misunderstandings, societal expectations, and personal insecurities. The chemistry is electric, sparking with each encounter and leading to a deeply satisfying romantic arc.

Kathleen Ayers has crafted a romance that is both steamy and engaging - Look forward to the rest of the series!

This is the fourth installment of The Five Deadly Sins. I have enjoyed all the books thus far, and this one also did not disappoint. When Malcolm needs help getting back to London to escape the authorities, Lord Buckmore provides assistance with the expectation that Malcolm helps him with something. He wants Malcolm to kidnap the lady he is trying to woo, but instead Malcolm unknowingly kidnaps her cousin, Alyss. Alyss and Malcolm were such a dynamic pair and it was great seeing them together. With Alyss' sassy wit and Malcolm's equally grumpy demeanor, their interactions were such a treat to read. The sparks really sizzle and fly when they find themselves stuck in a cottage during a storm.
This was a fast-paced, well-written and entertaining story and I had a fun time reading it. The author did a nice job of bringing the characters and the story to life. The characters were well-developed and interesting and I enjoyed following their story.
I received a complimentary copy from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

This story plot has some very interesting veins that it goes in. There is some humor and sarcasm in this story and some very graphic sex scenes. These scenes to me distracted from the story as a whole otherwise I would have given it more stars.

Love the Deadly Sins! All the books so far have been great. Mistaken identity leads to a great romance . I love Alyss and her love for her cousin, though I don’t think the cousin deserves it. Alyss and her parasol, what fun. Great interaction with the H & h and also the secondary characters. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

The fourth story in the Five Deadly Sins, former soldier, and mercenary Malcolm Sinclair ends up kidnapping Miss Alyss Brooks instead of her cousin. A fun well written story that kept me turning pages. I enjoyed seeing these two with the ups and downs they went through get a happy ending

Kathleen Ayers is a master of romance, I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I might be a little bias since the MMC name is Malcolm and that's my boys name!!! This was such a fun read with some. passion and banter, I would recommend this book on my socials and friends!

Dare I say, this might be my favourite of the series? I wasn’t sure what to expect from Malcolm as we haven’t seen him before but I really liked him. He was removed from society with his time as a solider/ mercenary and the plot matched him. I loved the idea of a kidnapping gone wrong - forced into the job of kidnapping a women for the awful Buckmore, Malcolm steals the wrong women. The women he steals, Alyss, is sour and must always be right. I thoroughly enjoyed their dynamic and how their bounced off one another.
Alyss’ stubbornness was entertaining and though it didnt always serve her well and she had to learn to let herself be wrong, I loved her how confident she was.

You could really feel the connection between these two and I was invested in their relationship from the beginning. Their time together was full of banter and tension and it came together beautifully. I liked the conflict that arose and how they overcame it. The side characters really showed up at the end and I loved seeing Malcolm reunite with his family! Overall I enjoyed every minute of this story and couldn’t put it down once I started.
It had definitely become a favourite of mine from Kathleen!

Thank you to the author for an eARC copy. All thoughts are my own.

First off I have loved this entire series and I want to say that for some reason I really liked Malcolm in particular. I am not the reviewer that gives away anything so I will not be doing that, but I will say do yourself a favor pick up the series, start from book one and work your way through the series. It gets better and better with each book. ☺️

Malcom Sinclair needs a way to return to his family in England, after spending many years on the Continent and robbed of all his money. Only in desperation would he make a deal from a man he despised and didn't respect. Kidnap a young lady so the baron can force a marriage, except Malcom kidnaps the wrong lady, or the right lady for Malcom. Misunderstandings when a lady always has to be right, keeps them apart, unless love finds a way. A very steamy, explicit romance with a match made in a kidnapping.

Malcolm returns! The missing Sinclair brother returns to England after a military and mercenary career. News of his family’s change in fortunes has not reached him, and he takes one last sketchy job in order to get back to England in time for his youngest sister’s debut.

(You should probably start at the beginning of the series, as some of the details about the Sinclairs are explained in the first three books. They aren’t terribly long, and they’re all good.)

Malcolm agrees to abduct a young lady for an acquaintance. Lord Buckmore is determined to marry Miss Elizabeth Brooks, heiress, to restore his coffers. He has blown through his own funds and needs a top up. Elizabeth has a cousin, Alyss, who is equally determined not to let her fall victim to Buckmore.

Malcolm is *supposed* to snatch Elizabeth so Buckmore can compromise her and force her into marriage. Buckmore isn’t terribly bright, and fails to describe her well enough for Malcolm to be sure he’s snatching the right lady. Of course he gets Alyss. And they have some misadventures.

Malcolm’s path back to his family, as you can probably tell, is complicated. He and Alyss have a bit of baggage, they’re both stubborn, and their HEA seems doomed to fail.

All of this happens in a short book, just like the previous three installments in the series. This series has fun, well developed stories and interesting characters in easy to read packages. I recommend all of the books, and you really should start at the beginning. The books are not clean, so if you prefer clean romance, please don’t read them. They are not OTT, however.

There was a desperation to their joining, a violent battle of wills, each unable to relinquish control to the other. Restraint, what little either of them possessed, had long since fled. “Alyss,” he growled next to her ear, sucking in the lobe, and drawing his teeth over the edge. He kept his fingers tangled in her hair, pulling at the moonlit strands, bending her body to his will. Slowing his movements, he twisted his hips, catching at the place they were joined.

A low moan came from her lips. “More, vile kidnapper.”

Lawd…after reading Sinfully Yours, I know I can’t be the only one planning her own kidnapping now can I? My ad would go something like …ISO someone incredibly handsome, strong enough to toss all this goodness ova his shoulder and knows his way around the kitchen of a small remote cottage. Rogue should be prepared to cater to my needs and handle all sort of “weapons and tools”...Y’all, Malcolm Sinclair is just the vile scoundrel for the job. This dangerous man personifies sin in the most seductive manner, marking him as the most tempting of the five deadly "Sin"clairs.

Sinfully Yours is an absolute blast! You've got a revenge-driven Mary Poppins type spinster duking it out with rogues trying to charm her naive protégé. The dynamic between the two main characters is electric. They're either in a heated battle of wills or wrestling with the temptation to... well, you know...The banter is sharp and fiery, dripping with sarcasm. And the chemistry? It's like a powder keg ready to blow!

Malcolm Sinclair, ex-soldier and current mercenary, lands in hot water and needs to return to England. He quickly strikes a deal with Lord Bukmore for a free ride back to London – all he has to do is kidnap Buckmore’s desired bride from her distasteful spinster of a cousin. The plot thickens when Malcolm snatches the wrong Miss Brooks—Alyss, a parasol-wielding, sharp-tongued woman with zero love for Buckmore. Mistaken identity turns Alyss's confrontation plan on its head, leaving her stranded, robbed, and dripping wet, with her kidnapper, Sinclair, unexpectedly becoming her only ticket out of the mess. Talk about a kidnapping gone off script!

Malcolm and Alyss are a sheer joy together. Although Sinfully Yours stands alone beautifully, diving into the rest of the Five Deadly Sins series will only enhance your experience. Don't miss out on the temptation of "Sinfully Yours", it's a guaranteed delight.

Wow, I loved this book! Malcolm and Alyss are a hoot! The Sinclairs have been wonderful to read about and this novel was no exception. From one abduction to another, the fun never stops. Elizabeth proves to be much smarter than she seemed at first and her beau, Mr. Rawlings is a far better choice than the detestable Buckmore! I hope that Aurora gets a book of her own as well and this is not the last we read about the Sinclair family! Although I received an ARC, my opinions are my own.

One more deadly sin vanquished. Malcolm a soldier is trying to return home only to be robbed of all his money. He undertakes one last assignment from villainous Lord Buckmore, kidnap a young lady in return for a trip home.

Except everything goes wrong. A long in the tooth, know it all cousin, Alyss, gets kidnapped instead and the only one to help will be Malcolm. Sparks fly, emotions are at stake, but one Ms. Right is ruined.

Malcolm's return home is full of surprises. His destitute family is very well off now and his siblings have all settled into marriages of ❤️.

Will he be able to convince stubborn Ms. Alyss to let her guard down and allow someone in to give her a hea?
Typical Ayers style (she's one of my favorites), lots of angst, turmoil, emotional depth.

Such a good read! Returning mercenary warrior Captain Malcolm Sinclair the handsome though overgrown with hair and penniless traveler is in Calais when he has to accept a nefarious task from a disreputable Lord Buckmore who wants him to kidnap Elizabeth Brooks so that he can wed the heiress against her family's wishes. Malcolm receives his fare to England and duly kidnaps on Hyde Park the heiress only to learn that she is Alyss Brooks and not Elizabeth. Though Alyss is 30 and a virgin spinster Malcolm is very attracted to her directness as we

My favorite Deadly Sin so far!
Malcolm Sinclair finds himself needing to leave immediately but having all his funds stolen leads him to accept an offer to “kidnap” a willing young lady to expedite a betrothal for an unscrupulous Lord. He absconds with the wrong Lady and is confronted with much more than he bargained for…. Alyss is determined to keep her cousin from making the mistake of marrying the wrong person and finds herself caught up in the plot. Wanting to use the situation to her advantage to stop the marriage once and for all however she ends up dangerously close to ruin…..
I adored Malcolm’s story! Alyss is witty, spirited and fun, the chemistry between the two and steam are off the charts! Malcolm is a scoundrel who sizzles!!!
A definite must read, and the sexiest Deadly Sin yet!

This is my second Kathleen Ayers book (the first was Enticing the Earl) and like the first I love it!

Sheer unadulterated fun and smut. Lovely, long drawn out interaction with the MC and the dude. Good smut, great tension. This is what regency romance should be.

Thank you NetGalley and Dragonblade Publishing for the chance to read and review this book!

Sinfully Yours by Kathleen Ayers is another in the series: The Five Deadly Sins. Malcolm Sinclair had been asked to leave the army. One too many fights. But having been robbed there was no way for Sinclair to get back to England except to accept the offer made him by Lord Buckmore: passage to England and gold when the abduction was complete. The abduction was Miss Elizabeth Brooks, more of a rescue, really. They wanted to marry, but her loathsome cousin, Miss Alyss Brooks guarded her with ferocity. He would find her a willing abductee. So Sinclair reluctantly agreed. Given that Buckmore’s feelings for the woman played into his description, Sinclair took the wrong, woman, Buckmore having described her to be a beauty. The one he took was a beauty: Miss Alyss. One the journey to meet Buckmore, Miss Alyss figured it out, Sinclair didn’t until he delivered her. At that point, Buckmore refused payment as well as the promised horse and left them and found he himself stranded with a very angry Miss Alyss Brooks.

Malcolm was a good character, written by a master. His family and he had led a hard life. He had no way of knowing their fortune’s had reversed. They were still outcasts from the ton, but what matter? Elizabeth was a simpering young miss, but she was an heiress and did finally show some gumption near the end. Alyss had a sharp tongue and an even sharper wit and Sinclair was enthralled. The ton loved a scandal and so when Buckmore returned to London with a story to tell, they were all ears. It was a cleverly written book, full of twists and turns. Sinclair’s family had all had interesting stories, so why not join them? Thanks Kathleen Ayers for an entertaining novel!

I was invited to read Sinfully Yours by Dragonblade. All thoughts and opinions are mine. #Netgalley #Dragonblade #KathleenAyers #SinfullyYours

A case of mistaken identity
Being in need to leave France speedily and divested of his gold, Malcolm is forced to agree to the unsavoury abduction of a young lady for Lord Buckmore. Buckmore is counting on a speedy betrothal after the young lady has been in his company for a few days. She is chaperoned by a supposedly ugly relative.
No sooner said than done, but Malcolm soon realises that he has abducted the wrong person. Alyss decides to maintain the ruse to confront Buckmore. She is known for her scathing tongue and her ability to cause bodily harm with a parasol.
However, she underestimates the gossip and the scandal caused by her rash action.

Sinfully Unexpected

Alyss was protecting her cousin from fortune hunters. Her parasol was always handy. She had no idea she would be mistaken for her cousin and kidnapped.

Malcolm was not happy about his assignment, but it was his ticket out of France to escape a wrongful accusation. He was also informed the lady would be willing. He did not count on kidnapping the wrong woman.

The kidnapping would lead to adventure, treachery, and unexpected love. However, Malcolm did not share he was an earl’s brother, and Alyss did not think a mercenary would be appropriate husband material. As the two went their separate ways, surprises awaited them, and they included treachery from the man who orchestrated the kidnapping of Alyss’s cousin. The two would have quite a few challenges to overcome. Would love emerge victorious? I loved this story and would recommend it to those who enjoy historical romantic adventures.
