This is an informative and clear graphic non-fiction piece about dogs involved with war fare whether as mascots or with clearly assigned jobs. The artwork is clear and pretty.

This graphic novel contains a trio of stories about dogs who served during wartimes. I enjoyed the WWI trench story the best, but the WWII story in Greenland and the Vietnam story were equally well-done.
