I love to see stories like these where a child is seen growing up by an object. What I loved especially about this book is that the chair wanted to make sure the little girl felt safe just like it wanted to keep Grampy safe. I think that this book will be great for kids who maybe have lost a loved one and need to see that they are still cared for. I also think that this is the kind of story that will resonate with so many people who are in different stages of life. This was such a wonderful read. I can not wait to pick up more from this author.
I absolutely adore this book! I cannot wait for it to be officially published. I love the fact that the story is narrated from the perspective of Grampy's Chair. I am planning to use this book in my classroom as a writing prompt for my students. Moreover, I appreciate the representation of the First Nations, Metis, and Inuit people in the book.
Grampys chair is a cute book, so many grandpas have their chair and it is tied to so many memories that many people can relate to the story!!!
I love a story about a grandparent. This story was cute, sad and filled with memories of Grampys chair. It goes through a sad time and is abandoned. Luckily the granddaughter finds the chair and loving repairs it. This allows her to always keep the memories in the chair and of Grammy near.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

Very sweet personification about a chair that shares all of its memories about a granddaughter and her Grampy. Loved the story and the illustrations!
Told from the point of view of a chair, this cute little picture book tells the story of the relationship between a grandpa and his grandchild. We get to see their interactions and how they keep the memories alive when the grandpa isn't there anymore. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this
