Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review this book before publication.

The cover and idea of this book drew me in. I’m mostly a homebody, but I do like to travel to interesting places occasionally. So I went into this book with an open mind, and, holy cow, is the art amazing! There are so many gorgeous colors used for each state, showcasing the beauty that is being described on the page. This is not just a book, but also a work of art.

I thoroughly enjoyed the little facts about the state’s history, the flora and fauna found there, and some cool traditions and events each state has. There are also explanations for why things have changed across the country, including wars, climate change, and more, each page is chock full of information and stunning artwork to bring it to life. I learned so much that I didn’t know, including my own state of Maryland! At the end of the book there are 2 pages explaining how you can start your adventure at home, including camping in your neighborhood, checking out local water sources and other nature offerings.

This is a great book for adults and children, as it is written in a way to reach all audiences. And it is a great addition to any book collection. While I enjoyed reading this on my tablet, I believe that having the physical book will really bring the artwork and adventures to life,

What a beautiful read, I have only visited 1 state so far and would love to visit more so this book will definitely come in handy.

This is an amazingly illustrated detailed book about the 50 states. Adults and children will learn about each of the states in reading this book.

I hadn't realized that all the activities would be outdoors and I was intrigued by some of the choices. There isn't enough room in a book this size to really show the scope of all the nature someone can experience in an area as diverse as the United States.
There are little adventures and big adventures, showing how visitors can take advantage of the natural landscape, with activities ranging from fishing to mountain climbing. to horseback riding with a Native American guide. The end offers ways to explore nature around your own home, such as spending time outside in a tent to experience the outdoors.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

What a great book. The drawings in this book are amazing. I was able to learn one adventure to go on per state which is great when planning my next trip to the next state.

This book is so pretty! I really enjoyed that the facts and activities used for the states were not the most popular or most well known. There are states I’ve lived in and had never heard of the activities chosen. It definitely gives this book a distinct flavor.

This is a very cute book about different adventures in nature within each of the 50 states. Each page also lists different facts about the activity, specific place, and even the wildlife of the area. My only critique is that I wish there was more/better facts about the indigenous people of the states listed.

A beautifully illustrated book for kids about the 50 states. This is not your typical book that gives state names and capitals etc. it shows all the fun and interesting things you can do to have an adventure in each state. There is a convenient index in the back of the book and all states are in alphabetical order. A neat book to use in helping pick out a state to vacation in or as a supplement to home school curriculum!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
