someone call the fire department cause this book was HOT and STEAMY!! this is my first ever Sierra Simone book and i was not prepared for what went down in this book!! I loved the story and I loved the spice! I enjoyed that it was not just pure spice but there was an interesting storyline as well that kept me intrigued.

Isolde, Tristan and Mark are a tangle of secrets and lies. A filthy, kinky read with plenty of drama, action and twists.
I received a copy of this book via Netgalley.

Sierra Simone. Do I need to say anything else? Another fantastic book by Sierra! A special thank you to Netgalley, Sierra Simone, and Sourcebooks Bloom Books for this e-arc in exchange for my honest review.

The writing in Honey Cut is lush, and the chemistry between the characters is undeniable. Many will easily see the theme of forbidden romance.
However, while the premise is intriguing, parts of the story felt underdeveloped or rushed. Some character motivations could have been explored further, and certain plot points didn’t land as strongly as they could have. Additionally, the pacing dragged in places, making it harder to stay fully engaged.
Overall, Honey Cut is an enjoyable read for those who love Sierra Simone’s style, but it may not be her strongest work. If you’re in the mood for a steamy, emotional journey, it’s worth checking out—just manage your expectations.

I have ascended. I have transcended. I have been ruined by this book, and I am forever not well until Bitter Burn is in my hands. Sierra Simone has crafted a trilogy so intoxicating, so sinfully addictive, that I devoured Salt in the Wound, Salt Kiss and Honey Cut in a two-day, sleep-deprived, soul-consuming haze. And now? Now, I am feral for Bitter Burn.
This book is everything—darkly poetic, devastatingly sensual, and laced with that signature Simone ache that leaves you gasping for air. The tension? Razor-sharp. The emotions? A relentless onslaught. The prose? Like honey laced with arsenic—beautifully deadly.
What I wouldn’t give for an ARC of Bitter Burn. My dignity? Gone. My sanity? A distant memory. My firstborn child? Negotiable. Sierra, if you see this… I’m on my knees.

Honey Cut felt like it dragged on for a bit, until about 70% of the way through. Despite this, I absolutely LOVED this book!! It had me pulling my hair out, squirming (in a good way), had me "what the helling" the entire time and had me wanting more!! The spicy is SPICING!! I didn't like the POV of one character because I feel I couldn't connect with him too much. He's a good character, I just wasn't a fan of all of his POVs. If you like spice, world building, and mystery around certain characters, then you'll enjoy this book. Take note of triggers and please take breaks if you need and don't be afraid to not finish if it gets too much.

Honey Cut is a deliciously spicy, emotionally charged romance that will leave you breathless. This book had so much sexual tension, I was DYING. This book combines scorching chemistry with deep emotional stakes, featuring characters that are incredibly flawed but irresistible. The connections between the characters felt both intense and tender, leaving you captivated by the slow-burn tension that ultimately erupts. The heat level? Off the charts, especially towards the end, oh my lanta!

As with all Sierra Simone books, this one packs a punch, but did feel a bit like middle-syndrome book if I'm being honest. I love these characters and how messy their relationship is, but I definitely need the third book now to see where their story is headed.

I really enjoyed this continuation. For some reason I thought this was the last book but it’s not and I don’t want to wait but alas I have to. I’m excited for the next book but hate the wait!!

Thank you to Netgalley and the Publishing Company for this Advanced Readers Copy of Honey Cut by Sierra Simone!

Unfortunately, this wasn't as good as I anticipated. I only enjoyed one character and had to push through to finish it. It had a lot of spice which made it somewhat enjoyable.

Whew, this series is...intense. This did not go where I expected it to go at the end of Salt Kiss (which so far has been my favorite one of the series), and I'm not entirely sure how much I buy of that or how I feel about it. Mark Trevena is, as always, still an enigma that everyone seems to love for reasons I can't figure out. As usual, Sierra Simone's writing is stellar and the world-building is good, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

I enjoy all of Sierra's books and this one was no exception. I'd love to get more spicy romances in front of my customers, and Sierra builds worlds so darn well!

The second in the Lyonesse Series, Honey Cut is steamy, emotional, twisted and intriguing. It does end in a cliffhanger - I can't wait to find out what happens in the final book!

I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.

Gosh this series is so hot. Sierra Simone is my favorite erotica author and this series is such a sexy retelling. We're left on a brutal cliffhanger that will keep me up at night but I'll be re-reading this before then for sure.

Very enjoyable ! Perfect mix of story and spice. Love how the story is developing. Would have like more the spice and less slow burn at the beginning. Shame we’ve got to wait for another book for a conclusion.

Nobody does a throuple like Sierra Simone. It was hot, well-rounded, and I'm pissed that the next novel doesn't come out til 2025.

Sierra Simone brinhs the angst and smut a hundtesfold this time. I am not a fan on infidelity but I was trapped by the writing.

I'm gutted to say that I dnf this book about 30% in, I just couldn't get hooked in - just kept waiting to for the book to get going.
