Sierra Simone can do no wrong and I will be continuing to read anything she ever writes - and Honey Cut is just affirming that!

So many spicy scenes, and we see more into Lyonesse. While most similar to the Nee Camelot series, including some character appearances, there’s also a nod to the Thornchaple stories as well.

This book is well written, and keeps me on the edge of my seat. I actually cancelled plans so that I could read it straight through - I absolutely could not put it down! And per usual, you can’t help being in love with her characters. I want to be them, I want to be with them, I want to be a fly on the wall.

As always, she leaves off on a cliff hanger, and I can’t wait to see how this trilogy comes together in the end!

A wonderful addition to the Lyonesse series! Truly the spice, the intrigue, and the mystery continue to build before the ridiculous cliffhanger! A must read for all polyamory lovers and retellers of King Arthur lore !!

Leave it to Sierra Simone to get me out of a reading slump. I think the thing that really continues to work for me with regard to series like Lyonesse (and New Camelot before that) is that Simone is SO GOOD at exploring the angsty underbelly of these relationships and navigating the jealousy, grief, and all other sorts of thorny emotions that would arise when three people are trying to move past their respective issues to make something work as a new trio. Naturally, with the third book potentially being from Mark's POV (or at least incorporating more of it), I'm already salivating! I know the wait will be long, but with Sierra Simone, it will always be worth it.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this edition from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Sierra Simone and the woman you are!! This book was soooo good and I was invested in the plot from the very moment it started! And the spice?! OMG!!! INSANE!!! So kinky!
I love this series and I’m am unbelievably sat for the next book, literally on edge waiting for what’s to come.
GENUINELY COULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS SERIES MORE!! Would highly recommend if you love a spicy read that comes along with the meat and potatoes (character vulnerability and plot)
He’s the bodyguard who falls for not only his boss but for his bosses wife too, ooopsies

my favorite part of a book like this is that despite the spice and smut it still delivers a good plot, that its truly enjoyable and it just adds up to making the smut even better and more enjoyable, as always sierra simone does not disappoint.

also didn't realize this was a second book to a series, so now i must run to read the first one

I loved the story and I loved the spice! I enjoyed that it was not just pure spice but there was an interesting storyline as well that kept me intrigued.

YES.
Thats really all that needs to be said I feel like lol
So, Sierra is amazing, per usual. It truly is like she can see what we want out of a book and delivers it wrapped in a pink bow.

Thanks to NetGalley and BloomBooks for this fantastic book I couldn’t read fast enough. Sierra Simone knows her characters, plot, and some steamy dialogue. This is the sequel to Salt Kiss and I’m not sure I can wait to see what happens in the conclusion to Mark, Isolde, and Tristan. Who needs shadow daddies when you have Mark and all his kink. Look…..this isn’t your mother’s harlequin romance. ❤️

I ate the book up. After leaving book 1 of the Lyonesse Trilogy with the cliff hanger that we did, I was so happy to dive right back into this book. The heat with this book. The way this book ruled my life like book 1 had…Sierra Simone always knocks it out of the ballpark every single time. I loved the storyline, the characters and the setting of this story. I don’t want to give too much away but just get ready to be obsessed and needing more. We don’t really have much of a cliffhanger with this one but still…it makes you crave our book 3. I highly recommend reading book 1 before reading this book of course. Put this trilogy on your TBR right away!

This isn't a book. It's an album full of song lyrics. It's BEAUTIFUL. Sierra Simone has been the standard in erotica in my world for a long time--there's nothing like her books. This one is no different. The character development is WILD and the relationships between everyone is likely the best erotica I've ever read.

Full disclosure here: Sierra Simone makes me question everything I should like in a book. Then she makes me LOVE it and need more all at the same time. No one writes like she does. No one handles situations that would normally not work in a way that makes you need more like she does. This is the second book in this series. It is filled with angst and longing and forbidden everything. It's piled full of secrets and bad decisions and deception. And I couldn't put it down. I am so sad that it's over and that the cliffhanger just leaves me wanting more.

PLEASE read content warnings before picking up this book. And also dm me if you need to discuss it. I probably need a friend.

Middle books in a series are often where the narrative and characters lag. Sierra Simeone does not struggle at all with this, combining eroticism and plot progression flawlessly. Continuing the story of Tristan, Mark and Isolde, the story is equal parts sexy and heartbreaking. For what could be a mere series of sexy interludes within a love triangle, this book explores much more complicated romance than that. Adding in the shady inner working of government groups, the Catholic Church and the general underground of the rich and powerful, the story twists and turn as a thriller right along side the spice. I can't elaborate too much for fear of spoilers, but even as somewhat omniscient reader, the twists and turns are engaging. How I am going to make it until the third book is released? I don't even know! If you can stand an unfinished trilogy, putting the Lyonesse series in your beach bag will be a very worthwhile venture.

𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: ☆☆☆☆ 4/5

After reading book one, I was definitely intrigued, so I was happy that the opportunity came along to read the second one. Please do read trigger warnings since this is a book for those with certain tastes, lol. This was an intense story with LOTS OF TENSION, in all the ways and definitely a positive one. The dynamic between the three main characters is so interesting, and I can't say I have read anything like this before. It's dirty, almost destructive, and painful (in a good way), but also endearing to see these characters grow and navigate complicated and delicate situations and more importantly; feelings. When everything came together, it was definitely fireworks. And the secrets make the plot itself interesting as well. It does end on a cliffhanger, and I'm curious to see how the characters will deal with it.

I received an eARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and options are my own.

Holy moly!

What a book. I didn't think I was going to survive this one. And that ending? It K1LL3D ME. The story and these characters are enthralling. I was so sucked into this book from the second that I started reading. I literally don’t know how she does it every single time. I read a book by her and somehow, I’m always shocked and amazed by her immense talent! I did also listen to this on audio and I highly recommend it. Oscar Reyes and Isabelle Ruther did such a wonderful job bringing Tristan and Isolde to life.

I don’t want to, nor can I say too much more without giving anything away. If you’re looking for something unbelievably spicy and makes you beg for more when you’re done, then I highly recommend reading this book!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Book two in the Lyonesse trilogy was just as intense as the first one and yes, book one is a must read before launching into this one. While the characters are broken and/or diabolical, I could not help but be drawn into the lives of Isolde, Tristan, and Mark. Now we begin the waiting for next one… This series is one that I will not soon forget.

I.devoured. this. book.

OH MY! I was (Im)patiently waiting for this one after the cliffhanger of Salt Kiss and this did NOT disappoint. Equal parts spicy and riveting I could not put this book down. This series is my first venture in the world of Sierra Simone and I am hooked and readyto read everything by her. The next book could NOT come fast enough - I will be sitting here anxiously awaiting for answers and the HEA Isolde, Tristian and Mark deserve!

Thank you so much for this arc :)

4.5!

Lawwdyyyyyy!!! Sierra Simone had me on the edge during this new Lyonese installment. My heart was racing for most of this read and it proved to be absolutely un-put-downable! The ONE question on everyone lips drives the plot forward, giving us delicious moments of depraved, wanton goodness. When SS says that Mark was in fine form, it was no exaggeration. The Lyonese series delivers twists, intensity and is guarenteed to have you puddling. 5 stars!!!

HOT HOT HOT! Sierra remains one of my all time favorite authors and she simply never misses for me. Her writing is poetic and sexy and this series is just a blast. A messy trio I can't get enough of. Also one of her hottest books yet and that's saying something.

This book is 4.5 stars.

It is a stunningly written sexual taboo romance. Another religious taboo for Sierra Simone.
This book is the second book within this series and it is a direct follow on from the first book. This book ends on a cliff hanger as the first one did. So I imagine the third book will follow straight on. The spice in this book makes it well worth reading now even though it has a cliff hanger ending. I read this as an ARC and it is one of the best ARCs I have read.
If you like spicy books this one is 100% for you.
