I was so extremely excited for this to drop into my inbox, and it did not disappoint!

This was a book of revelations, dark secrets, and acceptance, and followed on from the previous book where we discovered Lor's origins and hid behind our metaphorical cushions at the teasing torture of Nadir and Lor's growing connection.

We join Nadir and Lor as they journey through Heart, and onwards towards Achelion in their quest to find the key to unlock her power. Never fear fellow romantics! At long long last we see Lor acknowledge that belonging does not have to mean slavery and subservience.

Many characters were introduced in the past and present, and this added wonderfully to the story and worldbuilding introduced in the first two books. Hold on to your pages, people, because there are many shocks to be had, and a cliffhanger that will have you crying out.

Thank you very much to Netgalley and Nisha for the chance to read this fantastic ARC <3

Thank you to NetGalley and Forever (@ReadForeverPub) for my first ever ARC. Fate of the Sun King is releasing on June 4, 2024!

After finding the Heart Crown, Lor thought most of her problems were solved. However, she is now on the run from more than one power-thirsty king and in hiding. While trying to stay out of sight, she hopes to unlock more of her magic, claim her throne, continue to save and protect those closest to her, oh, and figure out her feelings toward the Aurora Prince.

Book 3 in the Artefacts of Ouranos series really took it up a notch for me. The stakes were higher, and so much more was on the line for the characters. And because the stakes were higher, I love the growth in this book. We see it within Lor, her relationship with Nadir, Tristian and even Willow. There were moments where I felt nervous, joy, love, and rage for the character.

The multiple POVs were a great addition, yet again, providing more insight to the story than just Lor and Nadir. We're first hit with Gabriel's POV, learning more of what happened in those moment right before Lor was taken in Rule of the Aurora King, plus more later in the book. We also learn more Ouranos' past in a third person viewpoint exploring the first rulers and the beginning of the land. I also thought the character glossary was a nice touch, especially for anyone who might not be reading them back to back like myself (and some of the notes made me actually laugh out loud, iykyk)

Now the ending, November cannot come soon enough!

Absolutely no notes. This series is amazing, the characters are incredible, there is so much growth! And the cliff hanger at the end really has me struggling waiting for book #4. Nisha J Tuli is one of my favorite authors and I am so excited to read the next one!

Many thanks to @readforeverpub for my #gifted (free) copy.

I loved this one! I loved that we got the history behind all the artifacts with the seven different arks. I loved how we saw the relationship grow with Lor and Nadir. Definitely give this one a read, you will love it.

Absolutely amazing!! I canโ€™t wait for the next installment in this series! This book continues from the last book and where the main characters left off, and man did a lot happen. It has great character development, the spice just keeps getting better and better a the spice!! I need the next one!

Thank you to NetGalley and FOREVER for this opportunity to read rate and review this arc which will be available June 6,2024.

Holy WOW. I avow my u dying love for this author right here and now. This was a powerhouse of a third book in this series. The angst, the action, the emotional connections were perfection. As always the story is fast paced but never rushed. You are there with the characters feeling what they feel. The mix of the authors culture into this Romantasy is always a treat for me. I cannot wait to buy this and read it all over again.

๐˜›๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜š๐˜ถ๐˜ฏ ๐˜’๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ is third book in the ๐˜ˆ๐˜ณ๐˜ต๐˜ฆ๐˜ง๐˜ข๐˜ค๐˜ต๐˜ด ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜–๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ๐˜ด series by Canadian author, Nisha J Tuli- to be released on June 4, 2024!

Y'all, when I say I was excited to receive this e-arc, that doesn't even to it justice. I waited ๐˜ธ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฌ๐˜ด to get approved and trust me when I say I checked my account ๐˜ฅ๐˜ข๐˜ช๐˜ญ๐˜บ, even though I get e-mailed upon approval. I just couldn't wait to dive into this third installment- and I squealed when I got the e-mail! Of course, I absolutely ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฆ๐˜ท๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ it in one day!

I usually do my reviews stating the good, the bad and my overall impressions- but, honestly, I don't have many "bad" things to say about this one! That being said, I have read the first 2 books in the series and they got me into Tuli's writing style and the Ouranos world/story so I'm pretty immersed already which makes it harder to critique than the first 2 books.

๐˜๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ฆ, alike the rest of the Ouranos series, is told in multiple POV. I really enjoyed the POVs of the last book, ๐˜™๐˜ถ๐˜ญ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ˆ๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ข ๐˜’๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ, and ๐˜๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ฆ delivered that same intrigue with new and interesting POVs! In ๐˜›๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ข๐˜ญ, I was a bit thrown off by the spicy scenes, but by the third book, I not only expect it, but I also enjoy it. It's not huge on the spice factor, which I like. There's just enough that you get a few intimate scenes, but it doesn't define the book by any means!

It's hard for me to decide whether I like ๐˜›๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ข๐˜ญ or ๐˜๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ฆ more, to be honest. ๐˜›๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ข๐˜ญ was the first book, so of course it's going to be great. We're being introduced into a new world, new characters, and it's fun and exciting! But, I have to give it to ๐˜๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ฆ for having, in my opinion, the best plot and character development of the series thus far!

With Tuli's writing and the plot getting better and better as the series goes on, I am so amped up for I can't wait to see what POVs we get this time!

I'm ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฆ๐˜ง๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ๐˜บ recommending this to my fellow readers! Of course, I recommend the series as a whole- with the assurance that the series keeps getting better, and that ๐˜๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ฆ is a truly compelling and exciting addition to the series as a whole.

Even though it (and ๐˜ˆ๐˜ณ๐˜ต๐˜ฆ๐˜ง๐˜ข๐˜ค๐˜ต๐˜ด ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜–๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ๐˜ด as a whole) isn't the "greatest plot driven, world building, character arc" written book I've ever read, it give pure enjoyment and vibes that, I cannot deny, make it 5 stars for me.

Thank you to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the opportunity to read and review

After finding the Heart Crown at the end of Rule of the Aurora King, Lor must now navigate being on the run with more than one power-hungry ruler after her. She returns to Aphelion to hopefully unlock her magic, Lor discovers more going on in this court than she originally realized. In addition to battling her feelings for the Aurora Prince, Lor figures out the truth about the Artefacts and their role in shaping her future. With her future hanging in the balance, will she be closer to getting everything she's ever wanted, or will she lose it all forever?

I was hooked from the first line of book one of this series and it continues to get more phenomenal with every book!! Nisha once again did not disappoint. Gabriel's (LOVE HIS SASSINESS SO MUCH) POV was a fun addition and gave us another view of the story. It has been incredible to see how Lor continues to grow throughout this series. And Nadir continues to exceed book boyfriend goals to make me fall even more in love with him. The weaving of the history throughout the story was intriguing and sparked at least half a dozen new theories about this series! I could not be happier that the next book comes out this year cause I need answers!! Do not sleep on this series. It is a favorite for sure and should not be missed!

I was beyond excited to receive early access to the third book in one of my favorite recent fantasy series! I really enjoyed the pace of this third book as much as I loved it in the second, and I felt like the tension and chemistry was still so well done with the main characters. There were a lot of new things happening in this book, and I love that each book so far has really taken on it's own journey and never feels like "filler" or just repetitive to what's already happened in previous books. There's always something new going on without being information overload!

I still loved Nadir in this book but did feel like their interactions together felt a little bit more juvenile for some reason (obviously not the spicy scenes but regular interactions). I think I was just missing some of that "enemy" love/hate vibe so it felt off to me. However, I still liked how their relationship evolved throughout the book, and I know there's a lot more to come!

I enjoyed getting a peak at other character perspectives this time around like Gabriel. It brought a very interesting plot into the mix for sure! Now I just can't wait for book four!

This is my very first ARC review and I am so glad itโ€™s this book right here by Nisha J. Tuli! I read this in 2 days! The characters in this book are lovable and funny, unless youโ€™re the Sun King.
Lor, has grown so much and discovered so much about herself and her family history. She continues to be brave and protective of those she loves. This book had all the tension and all the build up! Boy am I glad Nisha did not leave us hanging, (the waterfall scene ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐ŸคŒ๐Ÿผ)

The ending left me flabbergasted! I turned the page and couldnโ€™t believe she left us with that cliffhanger!!

There was some slow parts, and Nadir couldnโ€™t stop confessing his love which eventually I was like โ€œokay we get itโ€ but thatโ€™s the only thing that I found tedious.

:sigh: what am I suppose to do now with my life?

Fate of the Sun King is a strong addition to the Artefacts of Ouranos series, providing an enjoyable reading experience overall.

I must admit, having read the first two books over a year ago, I found myself slightly confused at the beginning. However, the character glossary provided at the start of the book proved to be incredibly helpful!

One of the aspects I particularly love about this series is its utilization of different perspectives and timelines. In this installment, we not only follow Lor and Nadir's perspectives but also gain insight into Gabriel's viewpoint and are treated to excerpts from the First and early Second Ages of Ouranos. Despite the variety of viewpoints, the narrative remains coherent and easy to follow, enriching the story without overwhelming the reader.

I thoroughly enjoyed the character development, particularly the growth we see in Lor, and finally witnessing the evolution of Nadir and Lorโ€™s relationship was incredibly satisfying. The steamy scenes were well-executed, delivering on the anticipation built throughout the series.

The ending left me completely heartbroken, and now I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the next book. I can't wait to dive back into this world and see how Lorโ€™s story continues to unfold.

A huge thank you to NetGalley and Forever for providing me with an ARC copy of this book!

Another 5 Star Review for this series and still going strong. I am seriously loving this series so much and I know once Book 4 releases I am not going to want the story to come to end and say goodbye to all of the characters. Book 3- Fate of the Sun King was so good and I was so invested in this story. I love Lor and Nadir. I am happy that their relationship grew and that they ended up not hating each other after all and discovered something so great that made everything all make sense and come together. It was also great to know about all the history and how everything was in the past to where everything came to be today with all of the artefacts, the Queens and kings, the different places, all of it. You get to discover all the secrets!! Seriously just this whole series has been so wonderful, I truly love all of the characters (even if they are evil ones) it just makes the story that much better!!

Cant wait for book 4!

I am FLOORED. First of all, Iโ€™m so unbelievably thankful to have received an arc for this. Iโ€™ve been anticipating this release for months and couldnโ€™t put it down.

The first thing I absolutely loved about this book is that Nisha included a character glossary in the beginning. I always seem to forget who everyone is, and she gave a perfect summary of who each important character was.

This book gave me everything I wanted and more. I really appreciated that we got more than Nadir and Lorโ€™s POV, as it changes to Gabriel and other important characters in the realmโ€™s history. We get to hear from Cloris, and Zerra, among a few others- and it really helps the reader understand more of the history behind everything.

I thought Lor and Nadirโ€™s relationship developed at a perfect slow burn pace, and we got lots of steamy scenes! Their romance doesnโ€™t take priority in the novel, though we still get lots of loving scenes between the two. In my opinion, balance between the romance and the action was perfect.

I also want to add that Maelโ€™s character might be my favourite! He adds such great comedy to the novel and I found myself laughing out loud at almost everything he says!

My mind is blown after that last chapter, and I donโ€™t know what Iโ€™m going to do while I wait until the final instalment is released.

If you havenโ€™t read this series, it is a MUST READ for any romantasy lover!

4.5 stars..

I wanted to start off saying that I got the eARC from NetGalley and I am so grateful to have been able to read this third book! I also want to say that I hope that it was just formatting or something that will be fixed when the book is released in Juneโ€ฆbut the punctuation errors were honestly sooooo distracting for me. They were so common that it got to the point where Iโ€™d have to reread things a couple times because I was so distracted. Also at one point it looks like Nadir is calling Lor his sister but it was actually Tristan saying that. Itโ€™s minor but even when I reread it, it should be fixed. Anywayssss on to the book reviewโ€ฆ.

I reread the first two books to refresh my memory about how the last book had left off. Iโ€™m glad I did because I feel like this book answered some questions that I had from the previous books.

I saw the ending coming even though the chapter or two before had me second guessing myself. That said, the cliff hanger didnโ€™t hurt any less knowing it was coming. After 2.5 books.. having them FINALLY hook up (holy slow burn) and admit being matesโ€ฆto have that taken was heartbreaking.

The one upside is that hopefully in the next book we wonโ€™t be subjected to her new nickname โ€œlightening bugโ€โ€ฆ(seriously wtf) as often

Iโ€™m excited to see where the next book goes. Iโ€™m sure sheโ€™ll find a way to bring him back but will it be in Ouranos or the Evanescence who knowsโ€ฆ

(I see the parallels to ACOTAR but it doesnโ€™t bother me. I find these characters less annoying overall)

As a huge fan of this series, I couldn't read Fate of the Sun King fast enough. I love seeing Lor's growth in this book, and was very grateful to see more of Gabriel's story (thank god!!!). I have to admit that the tension and feeling in Rule of the Aurora King are still my favorite of this series so far, but I think fantasy readers and fans of this series will love this book.

Tuli does it again in the third instalment of her series ๐€๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐Ÿ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Ž๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐จ๐ฌ! It was everything I wanted and more of the series continuation! We get to pick up where we left off while also adding a POV dedicated to Gabriel. Obviously still following Lor and Nadir and their joint quest. The novel stays true to Nishaโ€™s writing style with her delivery of amazing characters, action filled chapters, romance, spice and wholesome found family vibes.
As a fantasy novel/series, I found it to be done in a great manner, where it is approachable and easy to follow the plot and its many characters! The multiple timelines also created layers, which brings understanding of how this world came to be.

Obviously, I am obsessed with this series, itโ€™s a must read/ reread. That cliffhangerโ€ฆ AHHHHHH! Iโ€™m still unwell. I need the final instalment of the series, ๐“๐š๐ฅ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‡๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐ž๐ž๐ง, like now, yesterday.. as soon as I hit that cliffhanger. November canโ€™t come fast enough!

I have decided to not finish this book. Iโ€™ve reached the 50% mark and Iโ€™m just not compelled by the storyline like I was with the first two books.
I really wanted to enjoy the romance between Lor and Nadir but I think it mightโ€™ve been too slow a burn because when they finally got together it didnโ€™t have the fire I thought it would.
I might try and pick this back up if I decide to reread the series because I think I was just so disconnected from the story.

4 stars! This was a great continuation of the series!

First of all, I really appreciated that the book starts with a recap of each of the characters. It was perfect since its been awhile since I read the last two books. This should be a standard in fantasy series!

In the Fate of the Sun King, we still get Lor and Nadir's POVs, but we also get Gabriel's and some excerpts from the First Age of Ouranos, the early Second Age of Ouranos, and Cloris Payne. This really helped round-out the background, world-building, and the current plot. This sounds like a lot of POVs, but it was easy to follow and not overwhelming.

As the title suggests, we get more background on Atlas, the Sun King seen through Gabriel. These were always interesting chapters!

We see a lot of growth for Lor here! I'm proud of her! Nadir really steps it up in this book too. He was less of a spoiled prince here. Overall, this series is a great slow burn, enemies to lovers romance.

I would definitely recommend Fate of the Sun King if you read and enjoyed the first two books!

Thank you to NetGalley and Forever Publishing for this eARC!

Loved this book, Iโ€™d been waiting for this since I devoured the first 2. I was happy to see some of the relationships amongst various characters grow in this book and especially loving Lor and Nadir. I canโ€™t wait for the next one now

Thanks to Netgalley and Forever for the copy of this ARC.

Thank you Netgalley for this title! First off, I was amused from the dedication (iykyk) and the ending has left me in shambles. Watching Atlas spin out of control was also fun because I was absolutely sick of him by book three. And the backstory is so interesting, itโ€™s like getting Ouranos history lessons.

I really enjoy Nishaโ€™s writing and how the story has grown since the first book - Lor has come such a long way and I hope she continues to learn from her hardships without letting them consume her. Randomly, I wish we got more Callias because he has a small role in the books, but is one of my favorite characters, along with Amya. But now I have to wait for book 4?! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
