I didn’t think that my emotions could be sent on even more of a more roller coaster but Nisha Tulley has made me feel like I’m on a merry-go-round of feelings with this latest installment in the series the journey that Lord takes, and also all of the ups and downs and shocking Surprises that happen make you wonder where is this book going to go next I love the storytelling and I have found myself to be so immersed in this world that I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series

One of the most incredible books I have read this year. Nisha has created a stunning work of art of a world and I hung onto each word like it was my last dying breath. The ending made me cry and anticipate the next book.

Fate of the Sun King is the third book in in the Artefacts of Ouranos series. This series is romantasy at its' finest! I am completely head over heels in love with this story, and these characters. Each book just keeps getting better and better. Be warned, this is a series that needs to be read in order, but in this third installment we FINALLY see Lor and Nadir get over themselves and admit what they are to each other. And I was totally there for it.

We also learn more about the kingdom of heart and the heart queen. I love how Nisha is able to flip back and forth between several points of view without the story becoming convoluted. She is excellent and using the different characters to each build upon the plot and story. She is a fantastic story teller and this series is quickly becoming one of my favorite series of all time. I have already read the book twice.

The ending killed me, and I am desperate for the next book. I can't speak too much about the plot because of spoilers, but I love how vast the world is and how each of the characters have their own agenda. It was even interesting checking back in with Gabriel and Atlas, plus more secrets are revealed. I need the next book in my hands right now!

if you have not yet checked out this series, what on earth are you waiting for? Your next favorite rokmantasy is right here- waiting for you!

I am so grateful to the publishers for giving me the chance to read one of my most anticipated reads of 2024. The way I am in love with this series— the characters— the world… Fate of the Sun Long is the third book in the Artefacts of Ouranos series and it did not disappoint. Nisha J Tuli has truly crafted an epic story that has everything you’re looking for. If you’ve been waiting for the spice— well let’s say you will NOT be disappointed in this one! I don’t know what I’d do if we had to wait another year for the fourth book, but thankfully it’s releasing this year! I NEED IT NOW! Honestly if you want a series where the story doesn’t drop off after book two you need to read the Artefacts of Ouranos. Fate of the Sun King was absolutely worth the wait.

The slow burn that finally caught fire! Excuse me while I go recover from this emotional beating I just took. 5/5 will read again! (& again)

Probably my favorite so far of the books.

Nisha has done it again with a gripping story that has you chomping at the bit for more.

This book deserves all the stars! There aren’t many books I give 5 stars to. They must be top tier. This book has been LONG anticipated. I read Sun Queen and Aurora King what feels like decades ago. I’m having trouble even putting into words how much I enjoyed this book. I love how we got to see Gabriel’s POV too. Mysteries unfold as we near the end, and we are left off in a cliffhanger of course because there’s one more book in this series.
This book had twists and turns, action, mystery, and Nisha brought the SPICE! (Finally!)
I want to say this was my favorite book in this series so far. It was SO GOOD!!

I stumbled upon this series accidentally when I was trolling kindle unlimited. I read books 1&2 in two days! They were addicting- page turners. This book was deadly. The character development was incredible, the spice was a long time coming, and the plot was unbelievable. I was on the edge of my seat the entire book. The multiple POVs is incredibly fun, and hearing from our broody winged friend Gabriel was a treat I wasn’t expecting. I gobbled this book up- I literally had to limit myself to one chapter per night towards the end because I didn’t want it to end. I cannot wait for book 4- I need answers! This book leaves you on a major cliffhanger so be prepared to pine for the fourth book 😭

After devouring the first 2 books in the series, I was so excited to read this one. It was definitely worth the wait, and a great continuation of the series. The world-building continues to be top notch, and I love spending more time with these characters. My only gripe was the frequency of the flashback scenes, which I felt were confusing and took me out of the overall story. Still, would recommend this series to any lover of fantasy romance!

Book three in the Artefacts of Ouranos puts Lor through more trials before she can seek freedom and love. To avoid spoilers I won’t go into detail, but I have provided the synopsis for book one because this series is a lot of fun!

👑Trial of the Sun Queen [book 1] synopsis: Lor has spent most of her life as a prisoner of the Aurora King. She lives constantly close to death, until she is suddenly whisked away and entered to compete alongside nine other women to become the Sun King’s new Queen. Suddenly living among luxury, Lor is determined to win if only to save her siblings who remain locked away. If she survives the deadly competition but cannot win the heart and bond of King Atlas, she will return to her former prison cell forever.

Fate of the Sun King has intricate world building and magic, and the world we are familiar with expands, providing more history and context. I appreciated reading more POVs from Ouranos, but often wanted to get back to the present day plot that was pretty exciting! I love the found family that surrounds Lor, and look forward to book four, publishing this November!

Thank you NetGalley and Forever for the opportunity to read and review this book!

I can never say enough good things about Nisha J. Tuli. For a third book in the series, it did not fall flat at all. In fact, this book exceeded every single of of my expectations. Can't wait to see where things go in the next book.

Greatly enjoy this series from their covers to the world building to the descriptions of pain and misery.

The characters are great and I love the magic system!

This third installment of the Artefacts of Ouranos was INCREDIBLE. I am normally not a fan of multiple (3+) POVs but I felt like this book needed it for the purpose of the story and it was I’m so glad it was told really well! I also loved that we got some of the past history explained in this book with those extra POVs, it really made you feel brought into the story. I have so many theories going on inside my head that it’s been so hard for me to write this review because my mind is STILL all over the place.

Ultimately, if the ending of this doesn’t pick back up where we ended, in the FIRST SENTENCE of Tale Of The Heart Queen, I will riot. Nisha, girl! Why did you leave us hanging like that!??? 😭

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, published June 4th 2024.
Thank you @netgalley, @readforeverpub & @nishajtwrites for this ARC of Fate of the Sun King!

Fate of the Sun King is an exciting continuation of Nisha J. Tuli’s breakaway success of a romantasy series. Lor is now an heir on the run from rulers who would love to see her dead or under their control. She is fighting to access the full extent of her powers to protect everyone she cares about. It doesn’t help that she is also battling her attraction to the Aurora Prince who is infuriatingly patient, kind, and helpful. Her future is close if she can survive long enough to claim it.
This is an important novel that builds out Gabriel’s backstory as an orphan turned magic servant to the crown. He was raised alongside royalty without any standing to protect him and now he is magically forced to hurt the people he cares about. I too would be moody. That being said, there is a lot of flashbacks and history here building up what led up to this point. The rest of the novel is devoted to Lor and the prince’s relationship. I do like them together. The cliffhanger at the end serves as motivation to pick up the next book in the series.
I will continue to recommend this book to people who like ACOTOR and other romantasy properties but are looking for more diverse characters and interesting socio-political conflicts.

Nisha J. Tuli's "Fate of the Sun King," the third book in the steamy Artefacts of Ouranos series, is a riveting continuation that plunges readers deeper into the enchanting and perilous fae world. This installment masterfully blends fantasy, romance, and intrigue, delivering an enthralling enemies-to-lovers narrative that fans of the genre will find irresistible.

The pacing is well-managed, with moments of intense action balanced by quieter, introspective scenes that allow for character growth and reflection.

📚 series info 📚

I love a series that stays consistently good from beginning to end. Start with Trial of the Sun Queen, because this is a traditional fantasy series that needs to be read in order. The worldbuilding grows with each book, which I love, and readers who are just starting with fantasy might find helpful.

This one has a cruel cliffhanger, but book 4 comes out in November, so plan your reading accordingly!

First, I don’t have the attention span to read a character list - until this one. Please at least read Atlas’s description.

I love Lor, and am glad that we continue to see most of the book through her eyes. But I love the blend of POVs, including Gabriel with this book! His plotline was fascinating. And I loved learning more about the gods with this one. It’s rare that I find *every* plot line interesting in a multi POV, but Tuli’s writing helps me focus on the character’s relationships with each other in a way that keeps me interested no matter who is narrating.

This is one of those second-to-the-last books where I just need the fourth book, and have a hard time having any other thoughts. I can’t wait until November!

🎧 I love these books on audio. I read the first half with my eyes, and the rest by audio. I find the worldbuilding to roll out slowly enough that it’s easy to follow on audio, which is where I usually struggle with fantasy audiobooks.

Thank you to NetGalley, Forever, and Nisha J. Tuli for this ARC!

I am so happy I found this series! The magic and politics of this story are so interesting. I really think that it is unique and sets it apart from other fantasy series. In this series, you get past and present timelines as well as multiple POVs. I was never bored because I was always uncovering something new about the plot or characters.

Of course, I was DYING for the romance that finally culminates in this installment of the series. It was sooooo sweet but also heart breaking. I found myself highlighting the loveliest quotes that Lor and Nadir would say/think about each other. They were so opposite but would do anything for each other.

UMMM….. THE CLIFFHANGER? that was so mean. How am I supposed to wait for the next book? I have too many questions unanswered and I need to know everything is going to be okay 🥹

All of this to say, I would recommend this series to my romantasy lovers who appreciate a good slow burn.

An absolutely perfect third installment of the series. This book had me in a death grip the whole time. Some people don't write multiple POV well, but this one did and it helped get the full story. I am DESPERATELY awaiting the release of the next book after that ending!

ugh, I wanted this to be great. I liked book one and LOVED book two. this was sooo slow, meandering, boring. I didn't care at all about the history flashbacks. I found Lor really one-note and her relationship with Nadir went from 0 to 100 in a blink. even the spice was bad. around 50% I skimmed to the end cause I just wasn't feeling it. I don't know that I'll finish the series.
