An absolutely perfect third installment of the series. This book had me in a death grip the whole time. Some people don't write multiple POV well, but this one did and it helped get the full story. I am DESPERATELY awaiting the release of the next book after that ending!

ugh, I wanted this to be great. I liked book one and LOVED book two. this was sooo slow, meandering, boring. I didn't care at all about the history flashbacks. I found Lor really one-note and her relationship with Nadir went from 0 to 100 in a blink. even the spice was bad. around 50% I skimmed to the end cause I just wasn't feeling it. I don't know that I'll finish the series.

THE WAY THE ENDING OF THIS BOOK WAS SO PAINFUL.

I loved being back in this world and with these characters but I will never recover from the ending.

"Fate of the Sun King" is an exhilarating continuation of Nisha J. Tuli's "Artefacts of Ouranos" series. The multiple POVs are handled skillfully, enhancing the depth of the story and keeping readers fully engaged. Lor, Nadir, and the gang continue their quest to restore Lor's magic, facing new challenges and uncovering deeper layers of their world. The spice level ramps up in this installment, adding an extra layer of excitement to the narrative. Characters like Mael provide comic relief, while Willow and Tristan's development adds richness to the plot.

Tuli's storytelling is immersive, and the unique structure of interweaving different perspectives and the history of Ouranos creates a magical reading experience. Though some information felt a bit overwhelming, it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment. Lor's journey of self-discovery and empowerment is compelling and resonates strongly. This third book solidifies the series' place as a must-read in the fantasy genre, leaving readers eagerly anticipating the next installment.

Just when you think you have it figured out, Nisha adds more to the lore. I absolutely loved this new installment of the series. Not just the characters or story, but the details Nisha focuses on too. She has such a gift for creating an immersive world. I do seem to have a gift for finding authors who end with cliffhangers, with how wonderful Fate of the Sun King is, I cannot wait for the next!

OMG that ending!!!

Each book in this series just gets better and better. There's so much action, tension and heart in this series. And that slow burn finally paid off!!

I cannot wait for the fourth book to come out. I need it like yesterday.

Thank you Forever publishing and Netgalley for this free eArc in exchange for my honest review. Now I need to go buy a physical copy so I can reread this series over and over again!

This series has such an absolute grip on me!! I have been waiting for book 3 and it did not disappoint! The romance, the MCs, the ✨spice✨ finally.! I loved the addition of new characters in this book, and the multiple POVs/timeline was such an amazing addition. I cannot wait for book 3x that cliffhanger was unreal. My only complaint is the wait for book 4, it can’t come soon enough!

Omfg that ending!!! Nisha!!! I'm not going to lie that parts of this series haven't been predictable but omg I didn't see all of that happening! I've really grown to love this series and these characters. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next one! This book really gave us a background look at the Artefacts of Ouranos and the gods. I appreciated all of the information we've been waiting for!

An absolutely amazing continuation of the series. This book kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I don’t always love when there’s a bunch of POV but this one did it really well and helped you get the full story. I am DESPERATELY awaiting the release of the next book after that cliffhanger ending!

It has been over a month since I finished Fate of the Sun King by Nisha J Tuli and it took me so long to formulate my thoughts on the third book of the Artefacts of the Ouranos series. Thanks so much to the author, NetGalley and Forever Publishing for providing me with an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

This series just keeps getting better and better! Fate of the Sun King leaves off right after Rule of the Aurora King and Ms. Tuli really went full steam ahead with this one - from complex world building to witty banter and spiiice 🌶️ it had it all! There were so many revelations from the past and plot twists that kept me on my toes. I loved the fact that Lor and Nadir still had some work to do with the trust department, and I appreciated the mental health/trauma representation, since so many romantasy series glaze over the long term impacts of these traumatic events. It was beautiful to watch Lor go from accepting her trauma, to slowly healing with the help of Nadir, to becoming a bada** by the end of the book. Also, we finally got a taste of the 🌶️ and it did not disappoint! THAT WATERFALL SCENE 🥵🥵

If you haven’t checked out the Artefacts of the Ouranos series by Nisha J. Tuli, you need to read them! Would definitely recommend.

Loved this third Installment of Nisha J. Tuli's "Artefacts of Ouranos" series. We are back with Lor, Nadir, and the gang, still trying to restore Lor's magic so she can take on Rion. This book is quiiiite a bit spicier than the other two (and I am here for it), as Lor realizes something the rest of us already knew. Mael is such good comic relief and I enjoyed seeing Willow and Tristan coming into their own.

Once again, I was surprisingly unbothered by the multiple third-person POV, as I thought Tuli employed them well. There is a lot more information in this book, some of it a bit confusing, some of which I think might have been able to be introduced earlier on. But overall, this is a solid, entertaining read, I am already impatient for book 4!

4 stars. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a complimentary copy of this book. These opinions are my own.

I just love when a slow burn finally pays off. And I just absolutely LOVED the third installment of the Artefacts of Ouranos series. I don't want to give too much a way, but Nisha...*eyes* I'm gonna need the next one ASAP!

Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it. I felt like the pace could have been a little bit faster, with less planning and more action. And I felt a little distant from the characters.

Fate of the Sun King delivered! I'm even more obsessed with Nadir than ever before and so happy to have Gabriel's POV. The way the schemes were scheming in this one. Chapter 25 has me in a chokehold 😍🥵 holy hot damn, the way it all came together. My mind is 🤯 I can't wait to see where Tale of the Heart Queen goes!

This is such a fun adventure fantasy romance! We pick up right where book 2 left off. I love the way the past and present story lines merge together

Fate of the Sun King is the fast paced third book in the Artifacts of Ouranos series and is in multiple POV in the present tense from Lor, Nadir, and Gabriel’s perspective. It also has amazing flashbacks to the past from several characters who play a big role in the world building in the series.

I knew by the dedication that we were going to get some really good spice in this book and she definitely delivered on it. There may or may not be a really juicy waterfall scene 🤭The buildup was really good and I have a soft spot for Nadir now. The romance in this particular book was so well done and was blended into the plot so effortlessly.

I really enjoyed getting to see more about Gabriel because he has such an interesting back story. I also enjoyed the little glimpses into Lor’s past along the way. She is such an amazing character.

The book ended on quite the cliffhanger, so I’ll be not so patiently waiting for book four. This series is so excellent and I will recommend these to anyone!!

Omg!! That ending… how am I supposed to wait for book four after that 🤦‍♀️

Amazing world building and plot, kept me hooked the entire time. I absolutely love the characters in this story. Lor is such a strong FMC and I enjoy reading about the side characters too. Gabriel is so interesting and I would love to know more about how his story continues.

I can’t get enough of this series!! Well done 💕

Wow I was not expecting that ending! I had to reread it a couple times because I didn’t want it to be true. I don’t think that Nadir will stay that way in the next book, at least I hope not, so it will be interesting to see what Tuli does with him and the story. I devoured the first two books, and I still enjoyed this one, but I did feel like it was missing a little oomph if that makes sense. I don’t know how I’ll be able to wait until November to read the final book in the series. I rated this one 4/5 stars.

Thanks to NetGalley for sending me an ARC in exchange for my review :)
