Thank you to Netgalley for allowing me to read and review.
I originally requested this book because I've been in the Logistics and Supply Chain world for 11 years now and was hoping to expand my knowledge a little further.
For a beginner, I think this book is very informative. I think it is missing some parts that I know to be in Supply Chain but it also includes things I wouldn't have expected to be a portion of Supply Chain as well.
Overall, good coverage for those getting started in this role.
My review is also shared on Goodreads.
This is a very informative book. There are 8 chapters covering - Warehouse management tools and guides, Transport management tools, Inventory management tools, Supply chain management tools, Outsourcing tools, Performance management tools, Financial management tools and ratios & Problem-solving tools.
This book provides a solid introduction to practices and tools associated with logistics and supply cain management. The first 4 chapters form the bulk of the book, and this is appropriate as the following chapters cover information which most would know. The technology discussion while adequate for a first level understanding, could have covered new trends in some more detail.
