When I first downloaded this for review, I didn't realize that it wasn't part of the Hannah Swenson series by Fluke, which I really love. This is a re-release of a book written in the 1980s, and that fact really shows. The mystery isn't very surprising and the book overall is kind of a snooze-fest.

I have loved Joanne Fluke's cozy food mysteries for years. When I saw that she wrote a non-cozy mystery, I had to read it. I LOVED it and plan to read all her other non-cozies!
