I liked this romance! I am a sucker for anything set in Ireland and appreciated the familiar tropes. This was a great read!

Drop what you're doing and read this book IMMEDIATELY! I read this as prep for my trip to Ireland and it was lovely (iykyk). Curl up with some hot cocoa by a fire and dig in (and then book a flight to Ireland asap) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read another one of Rebekah Cranes books. I have read a bunch of her other work and always enjoyed them. I enjoy a book with a rivalry such as was represented in this book. Can't wait for more of her work to come out!

Cute story with just enough supporting characters. This was not as predictable as I thought it might be! At times the story felt like it skipped in places where more detail would have been better, but overall a great story.

Loved the cover! The story was cute. Maeve finds out her bio dad has died and he left her an inheritance, In Ireland. She of course has to go and learns she is now the proud new owner of a pub in a rivalry with another pub - owned by Briggs. They keep the rivalry going until until it becomes clear their feelings outweigh the supposed animosity. I thought the pranks were funny. The emotion heartfelt. The story a little under-developed but still so enjoyable.

Maeve Kaminski didn't ask for the biological father she never knew to leave her a pub when he passed away. She's come to a small Irish island to meet with his solicitor and leave as quickly and quietly as she arrived. That's it. Maeve has a life--albeit a stressful one--in Chicago: an apartment, a best friend, loving parents...and a mountain of debt her ex-boyfriend ran up in her name. Add in that her father's family is in a lifelong feud with another prominent family in the area. The worst part? Her pub is in a war with their pub for who is the best local watering hole.
Determined not to fall for the town, the antics, or charming pub owner Briggs Murphy, Maeve nevertheless finds herself doing just that. LAST CALL FOR LOVE was absolutely charming! I couldn't wait to read another few pages and I even took my time with this book because I was enjoying it and didn't want it to end! That just doesn't happen with every book you read.
Between all the wonderful supporting characters and the budding romance between Maeve and Briggs, I was hooked and hard. Careful Maeve and slightly-rakish Briggs were clearly meant to be--anyone and everyone could see it. I loved watching them struggle, just as much as I enjoyed seeing Maeve find her place in the town amongst everyone's daily life. Waiting for Maeve and Briggs to get it right was a little bit of torture. Gah! I just wanted to push them together, gently mind you. They were both such wonderful characters. I loved watching Maeve slowly loosen up and Briggs start to put his heart on the line.

Really cute, easy to read book. I loved loved the Irish setting. I liked it had enemies to lovers vibe. Definitely a feel good read

Last Call for Love was a fun and quick read. I enjoyed the dual POV and descriptions of the Irish setting, which Rebekah Crane does well. I wasn’t completely sold on the romance between the two main characters, though I liked their prank war and potato rivalry. I’m not sure this should be considered a YA novel.

This is the first book I have read by the author. I was drawn to this book on Netgalley by the description. I have always been drawn to books set in Ireland.
Overall I liked this book and will probably explore other titles by this author. I could empathize with Maeve and her predicament with the stolen identity. Isn’t it terrible that people must go through that. Shame on Spencer.
Surprisingly, I was drawn more to the stories of the secondary characters like Hugh, Aoife, Barb, Linda, et al, then I did about the relationship between Maeve and Briggs. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy that part of the story, but I felt more drawn to their backstories and found myself wanting more.
I was also drawn to the Maeve/Liam story. It was a journey that I enjoyed traveling with Maeve, although it was heartbreaking.
Overall, it was a nice enjoyable story for me. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for my review.

Good enemies to lovers story that is easy to read, plus I liked everything the protagonist has to live and go through during the story.

3 stars
I liked certain elements in this book, like the fake hate and the "pranks," and Maeve was a wonderful fmc, and it was a delight to follow her journey, but the mmc? He was a bit smarmy, especially at the beginning, with him sleeping with his clients. I didn't like that.
Still, this was a fun read that kept me entertained from start to finish.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I really loved this book. It was such a great book!

I thought this book about Maeve and Briggs was an addictive book about the harsh realities of dealing with grief. Whether it’s grief of a relationship, the death of a parent, the loss of body parts. Everyone deals with grief differently and there is no one size fits all approach. There is so many cute details in this book that I don’t want to give away. I was afraid at one point that we might not have a happily ever after, the last 50 pages had me panicking but we did get a happily ever after. I recommend this to anyone who likes romance, and comedy that comes from people that know each other inside and out. Thank you Netgallery, Skyscape, and Rebekah Crane for choosing me to be an arc reader for this book.

REVIEW: Last Call For Love
Maeve is in debt because of her ex-boyfriend, by a lot. She hears that her estranged dad, who lived in Ireland, just died and has her in the will if she goes to Ireland herself. Maeve now owns The Moorings Pub and can only sell it if she follows her dad’s wishes. Briggs owns the pub that rivals The Mooring. He sees Maeve and falls hard, but their families are supposed to feud with their different bars, complicating things.
I don’t know why, but I am a sucker for a romance where one is an American visiting somewhere in Europe where they meet their love interest. I was so excited to see this book had precisely that. Last Call For Love also had rivalries, fun side characters, sweet and tender moments, a lot of heart, and local pubs. It was just a great combination.
Last Call for Love explored many strong themes, such as grief, identity, expectations, and life’s purpose. Both Briggs and Maeve had interesting backstories that made the characters more interesting. I absolutely loved their playful banter and pranks between them. There were so many moments I laughed out loud. There were also so many moments of genuine care for one another, even if it meant sacrificing something for themself. I also love how much personality each of the side characters presented. I could really imagine these people in this small Irish town.
Overall, I enjoyed The Last Call for Love. It was funny, sweet, and got deep when it needed to. This was such a delight to read.
Thank you, Netgalley and Skyscape, for the free advanced copy for my honest review!

I loved the setting, it made me want to visit Ireland! The side characters were amazing and I really liked the found family aspect. I thought the love story was cute but it moved super quickly. Overall, a fun read!

Thank you to #NetGalley, Rebekah Crane, and the publisher of the book for the eARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
The last thing Maeve ever expected to happen to her was to inherit a pub on an island in Ireland from a father she never met. On the bright side, she is in extreme debt and maybe selling this pub will help her get out of it.
Briggs is suffering from a broken heart. Literally. He has been diagnosed with the same heart condition that killed his father. Briggs plans to keep to himself, but when Maeve shows up, he starts to change his plans.
Will love save Maeve and Briggs?
A cute and fun rom com. Sad at times, but loved it overall.

This is a great story about grief and identity. This may be one of the few books that I didn’t feel like the romance added a lot. I was interested in Maeve’s story and her discovery of the dad she never knew and just didn’t enjoy Briggs’ role in the book.

I really enjoyed this easy, breezy, rom-com of a book. Both of the main characters were likeable and believable. The plot was really cute and I finished this book in a single day. I love book with quirky small town characters and I love books set in Ireland, so put them together and it was like this was written just for me. Great book to read by the pool or at the beach.
I will be recommending this to others.
Thank you to NetGalley and Skyscape for the ARC!

Last Call for Love was a quick read for me and definitely scratched an itch, I traveled to Ireland years ago this time of the year so it was aptly timed reading for me. This was moving like Rebekah’s other books! I really liked Maeve’s character.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this arc ebook in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

The last thing Chicagoan Maeve Kaminski expects to inherit from her estranged biological father is a pub. Now thousands of miles from home, Maeve is on a remote Irish island and is the new owner of the Moorings. Charming? Yes. Practical? No. The bright side: Maeve is in debt, and off-loading a famous pub for a pretty penny could be the gift she’s been waiting for.
Briggs Murphy is suffering from a broken heart. Literally. Recently diagnosed with the same condition that killed his father, he’s not looking for love. But when Maeve shows up with her color-coordinated datebook and striking blue eyes, he falls hard. Too bad she’s off-limits. According to familial legend, they’re enemies. And for the sake of the island, they better stay that way.
Love was never the plan. But for Briggs and Maeve, it might just save them both. To make it work, they’ll have to rewrite history…before it’s too late.
OMG! You guys I absolutely LOVED this book! Unrequited love, star crossed lovers. Forbidden love. This is right up the Romeo and Juliet trope! I loved both Maeve and Briggs so much individually and together. Both their personalities were so well established. The island of Inishglass was so well described and it really made me feel like I was part of the tiny community. The side characters as well were so lovable (I need a whole book just on Hugh please!!!!).
Maeve's character development throughout the book was so heart-warming and I really loved the storyline between her and her father. If you are looking for a sweet romance this is for you!
Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC!
