Thanks to Grandcentral Publishing and NetGalley for allowing me to read a digital ARC of “Deadline” by Sandra Brown.  Deadline is a well-plotted novel with twists and turns galore as the two main characters, Dawson and Amelia, race to save themselves and find the killer before the killer finds them. The suspense was palpable as Ms. Brown kept kicking it up a notch in each chapter. The revelation at the end of the novel left me utterly stunned, and I'm sure it will do the same to you.

Another delayed NetGalley read/re-read. I'm glad I took the time to listen to this thriller because I don't remember the story.

When a mother of two finds herself being followed and threatened, her unlikely protector shows up next door. Having been hurt by her dead ex-husband in the past, she's not too thrilled to find a reporter camped next door claiming he wasn't there for a story.

Instead, what ensues is a journey to find a dead man who is hell bent on ending the life of his wife and taking his children away. But they all have a few secrets which makes trusting anyone even harder.

Great quick read with some twists and of course a couple happy endings.

I was not impressed with this mystery/thriller. The plot was going on and on and on until I lost count and the end was very highly predictable. Nothing really made me to jumped. If you are a fan of hers, maybe will probably enjoy it but I didn't...
