I absolutely loved this book. I went in blind so the title was slightly misleading but other than that this book was perfect.

Two different sisters going thru two completely different life events. One who was running away from her past and one who needed to escape from the present all while going thru a major family event.

This book has a little bit of mystery and romance. Everything you would expect from a Brenda Novak title.

I liked this book. 5is is a familiar, popular author, and she has written a cannot put down novel. Realistic characters keep the story moving. Underlying themes keep the reader guessing. The idea of writing about banned books is intriguing. The main character has issues in her life, and when she returns home to visit with her dying mother, those issues come alive again. She is close with her sister who has problems also…this is a book that is a page turner. Thanks Netgalley.

I enjoyed this book. I loved how it talked about both of the sisters. I was happy that Margot was able to get away from a abusive relationship and that Gia was finally able to come back home after people finally believed her. I thought it was sad that their mother died from breast cancer. Other that, the book was heartwarming and romantic. I'm grateful that netgalley and the publishers let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

Thanks to NetGalley and MIRA for the opportunity to read The Banned Books Club by Brenda Novak, an author who never disappoints.
