Dante came from a world of poverty and Annabelle is the daughter of a CEO millionaire. This is a second chance at romance for Dante and Annabelle. Annabelle and Dante share a past as the two were young in love and had a whirl wind marriage. Annabelle had finally had enough of Dante being married to his job and leaves and serves in him with divorce papers. The two never stopped loving each other had a love hate relationship. Annabelle wants to be the CEO of her dad’s company when he retires. So, she devises a plan and propositions Dante her ex-husband into a marriage of convenience. Unbeknown to Annabelle that Dante plans to have her in bed and there will be no marriage of convenience. Dante doesn’t not give in to Annabelle too easy as he wants something out the marriage himself. Dante knows that Annabelle and her father have connections to the elite. He wants the Hilderbrandt Plaza for personal reasons in exchange for Annabelle’s proposition. Dante and Annabelle are great the 2nd time around. They have matured, grown with Dante being more powerful and the two of them enjoying their second chance at romance.

I am a big fan of Delaney Diamond and I have been reading her books since I read The Ultimate Merger in 2012 and have enjoyed every book since. Can’t wait to see what Delaney Diamond has in store for her readers.

When ex lovers have to come together for career moves (a marriage of convenience) but end up rekindling the spark and flame between them! The second time was definitely better with this couple! Oh Dante and Annabelle! The tension and passion between them was so hot and spicy! I love how they both worked through their previous issues…making an intentional effort to communicate and get to know who they each were now. I also loved the spicy moments! Great story over all!

This book was so cute! I loved watching the relationship between Dante and Annabelle grow. Their relationship certainly encountered some difficulty, but time couldn't stop the attraction between the pair. Annabelle is a very inspiring fmc, she is always herself and an easy character to see yourself in. Overall, this book was super cute! 4/5 stars!
