Easily accessible astrology guide book for newbies and intermediates!
I honestly didn’t have a lot of expectations at first - I‘ve seen too many books with pretty covers, less than 200 pages and most probably AI-written mediocre information inside recently. This book pleasantly surprised me! An easy yet informational read, concise, well-structured and including very helpful exercises. I can whole-heartedly recommend this book!

I was THRILLED to be approved for this! I am a newbie to astrology, but starting to learn about more than just the 'big 3' and the sun signs. I honestly want a copy of this for my shelves for future reference because I know I would use it. The titles and topics are laid out in a way that you can easily refer back or know where to find the type of information you are looking for. This is what I call a "prime coffee table read' which is where you leisurely browse it over an unrushed amount of time, in a chill manner.

The layout of the patterns and concepts and connections in this book were in such a way that my memory was able to retain the information much easier than other books i've read containing the same information. I learned so much, a lot of big themes started clicking for me, and I feel more confident looking at my own chart and using a lot of the information from this book to look at charts of friends. (For fun).

The step-by-step format was my favorite feature of this book. It breaks down different concepts into smaller, more manageable pieces, making it easy to follow without feeling too overwhelmed. I’ve been interested in learning more about my own astrology and if/how it affects life overall. This book includes instructions on understanding natal charts and deciphering each planet’s influence with easy-to-understand examples. I was able to learn in a way that was very easy to grasp and implement. The book includes diagrams, examples and illustrations to guide you on your astrology journey.
This book goes in depth on using astrology more for self-discovery, which was perfect for me and my growing interest in astrology. I haven’t completed the entire book yet because there is so much to learn and utilize, but I’m really enjoying taking it all in. This is a very in depth guide to reading one's birth chart. I found the information easily accessible. My only complaint is trying to flip between pages to look at charts is difficult on an e book, but that won't be a problem for physical book readers. All in all I think this is a good addition for anyone interested in astrology or anyone who wants to better themselves.

This was such a great book. I learned so much and found it super easy to follow and understand. I've tried reading other books on astrology but they usually go too deep too fast or stay very surface level. This was not the case here and found the perfect balance!

Well, not quite a workbook, it is a great resource for learning more about astrology and your birth chart. If you’re just starting out, this is a great read as it’s full of information and resources that will help you along the way.

I really appreciated how this book starts off explaining the history of astrology and removes some of the misconceptions and misunderstandings that have plagued astrology within the main stream. The book itself is easy to use to guide you through understanding your birth chart. Where I wish it had a little more information was in understanding how to read the actual birth chart. Because I had to go to another source in order to get the birth chart the book lacks a connection between what I'm looking at vs what the author thinks I'm looking at. And if you are in any way misinterpreting/misreading something in the chart there is no way to correct that.

First things first, the images and design in this book are STUNNING!!! I really appreciated how beautiful this book was, along with the content inside of course! I would consider myself intermediate when it comes to astrology but I was able to learn a lot from this book, especially in the second half going through each house and the included exercises. I feel like I would recommend this to friends who were interested in my knowledge of the stars and how I use astrology in my life, but also to friends in my astrological community who want to step up their game a little bit and maybe learn a few new things! I am definitely getting my hands on a physical copy to have on hand for reference as well, this is the kind of work book that I would love to go back to from time to time when I feel lost or disconnected!

I’ve been studying astrology for a few years and yet I was pleasantly surprised at how much information I was able to pick up while working through the book. Jessie Eccles starts out by covering astrology and birth chart basics in Part 1 and I found her writing to be accessible and engaging. The key takeaways included after each chapter are helpful for reinforcing the topics discussed. Part 2 offers a deep dive into each of the 12 houses of a birth chart. Each house chapter covers the same 5 exercises allowing for familiarity and repetition. While many books promise to help readers learn astrology, this one actually delivers with an ideal structure and thoughtful exercises. This workbook would make an excellent addition to a public library collection or a great gift for a newbie astrology student.

Final Verdict: This workbook is easy to read and understand; beginner and intermediate astrology students would appreciate the content.

It helps take away the confusion one may have had after looking at their birth chart and trying to figure out what it means!

Once you get to the workbook section, you are in for a treat. I really like how well this book explains astrology before you get to the workbook section. It’s also an excellent workbook that not only helps you figure out what your birth chart means, but also gets readers to interact with their birth charts. I think that this is going to help so many people understand a lot more than if they were to just read a few things on what their chart means. I think this is such a good resource!
