you never stop learning and this is a good way to learn more about astrology or start learning. Plenty of exercises and information
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine

Why did I start this book? It is common to come across astrology in magazines or even novels and TV shows. And there are terms like house, etc. used. What does that mean now?
The author has answered everything in the book. Her book is a very clear and well constructed guide for beginners. It is so enticing that I started looking up my information.
The book met my expectations.

Thank you NetGalley, the publisher and the author for this ARC! I am a sucker for workbooks and this is great for anyone wanting to explore their birth chart and astrology.

While this book is loaded with great info for someone new to astrology, it’s not a “step-by-step workbook” as the title implies.
Thank you Callisto Publishing for granting me an ARC!

This is a great introduction to birth chart reading and all that entails. There are plenty of resources given by the author for those readers who are interested in obtaining a birth chart but aren’t sure where to start. As someone who has engaged with astrology for decades, I felt that overall this was a wonderful updated addition to add to any metaphysical shelf. My only piece of frustration came from the phrasing in certain exercises. For example, Exercise 4, ‘’My ______ is in the blank house _____”. This could be confusing for people who are new to astrology and are not familiar with the idea that your first house ruler could have multiple influences. Honestly, that is just a personal hang-up. Fantastic piece and very visually appealing!

The Step-by-Step Astrology Workbook is a fantastic resource for anyone interested in learning about astrology, whether you're a total beginner or looking to deepen your understanding. Jessie Eccles breaks down birth charts, zodiac signs, and planetary houses in a simple, easy-to-follow way, with plenty of fun exercises and prompts to guide you through your own chart.
The interactive format makes this book feel like a personal journey of self-discovery, perfect for exploring how the stars influence different aspects of your life. If you're just starting with astrology, this is an excellent place to begin!

This workbook is great for anyone who wants to explore more of the world of astrology whether they are just beginning or have been more experience. It's easy to follow format makes astrology easier to understand although the workbook is probably best used as a physical book rather than on a mobile device.

The book is very nicely made, however I have to admit that I expected it to be more of a workbook to fill out yourself, instead of being entirely textbased. That doesn't make it any less interesting, I definitely learned quite a few things, it just wasn't what I had hoped for.

I really enjoyed the way this book described each facet of a birth chart although I wish it had gone more in depth. I also felt like the workbook portion and its questions were a bit lackluster and felt like I was completing a homework assignment rather than actually sparking inspiration. I feel like information about transits would’ve been helpful as well, but for absolute beginners I think the descriptions were a good entry point into the world of astrology.

The Step-by-Step Astrology Workbook by Jessie Eccles is an easy-to-read and useful book for people who are new to astrology and want to learn more. With exercises that let readers actively participate and use what they learn, the workbook style makes it easy to understand the main ideas. Eccles breaks down difficult astrology ideas like birth charts, houses, planets, and signs into steps that are easy to understand. This way, the reader can learn everything they need to know. This hands-on method not only helps people understand their own astrological charts, but it also helps them figure out what they mean. This book is perfect for anyone who wants to learn about astrology in an organised, easy-to-understand way.

Even though I don't personally believe in astrology, I'm always fascinated by learning about what other people believe and how it all points to the desire to connect with a higher power. The book was easy to follow along with and is a great resource for those interested in astrology.

Thank you Netgalley and the Publisher for a copy of this Arc
I wish I had this in physical form because the urge to write directly in the book was strong. I'm new to astrology and this workbook made learning my chart so easy. I will have to get a physical copy so I can copy over what I have in my notebook.

A step-by-step workbook to help you record your own birth chart and learn key tenets of astrology along the way. This is an accessible and useful guide for beginners, and a book worth buying in hardcopy so that you can fill out the exercises and notate your chart.

The only downside of receiving a digital ARC is that, for a book like this, I'm now dying to write and annotate in a physical copy! This is so interesting and informative. As someone who's dabbled in astrology, I often find myself at the mercy of whatever websites I come across — but whether they're well-articulated and accessible for a newbie is another story. This workbook seems *perfect* for true beginners, as it has lots of great information but boiled down in a way that's understandable and not overwhelming.
(Thank you to NetGalley and the author for providing me with a free digital copy in exchange for an honest review.)

I have been interested in getting into astrology so I picked this up. Over I enjoyed it, and felt like it really was geared towards beginners like myself. I sniped the workbook aspect, forever I do wish it had a few photo diagrams.

A fun little workbook for those starting out in their astrology journey! I think having a visual sample charts would be beneficial for visual learners, but otherwise it was a great little book.

Can't wait to get my hands on the physical copy of The Step-by-Step Astrology Workbook by Jessie Eccles. It's exactly what I've been looking for in terms of an actual workbook to aid in reading and understanding birth charts. It's a very large topic and can get overwhelming so quickly, and while I've always wanted to figure it out for myself, I've never been able to. This book has been so helpful in changing that. The houses have so much to do with personality and just interacting with the world throughout your life and being able to understand that provides such great insight. I'm so glad I can finally do some decoding for myself.

I’ve been interested in astrology for a while now and been trying to do deeper dive in my understanding and this came at the perfect time. Than to use much for this ARC opportunity. I found this perfect for a beginner with somewhat of the basics already down. It didn’t feel too dumbed down or too big concept either. Will be using this ongoing

The Step-by-Step Astrology Workbook turned out to be a real gem, even for someone like me who thought they already had a good grasp on astrology. This book is perfect for beginners, offering clear explanations and breaking down concepts in an easy-to-follow way. The exercises and journaling prompts are both fun and engaging, making the learning process interactive and enjoyable. Whether you're new to astrology or looking to deepen your understanding, this workbook is a fantastic resource that keeps you actively involved in your own learning journey.

This book was interesting. I learned so much about astrology. I thought I knew a good deal about the subject, but I was definitely wrong. There is so much more to astrology than simply understanding your sun sign. This book was well organized and explained everything in an easily understood manner. While this topic could be confusing, this book really guides the reader in a clear and thoughtful way. This book really helped me to understand myself a lot better. I think this would be a great book for a lot of people and would make a great gift. I would recommend this book.
