Meghan Quinn is one of my favorite authors and Bridesmaid for Hire made me realize why all over again. Bridesmaid for Hire is laugh out loud funny, heartwarming, emotional, and spicy. Brody and Maggie had their little moment years ago, but that didn't end well. Which makes them fake dating so much fun!
Maggie is supposed to be on vacation, but running your own business is hard. So when she gets a chance to get to know a big company that could make her business a household name, she takes her chance. Brody is there to make an appearance and try to save his job. Fake dating seems to be the best solutions for both of them.
Preparing for the wedding makes things get messy. There are activities that don't end well for either character, but are so much fun you have to laugh out loud. The tension between Brody and Maggie jumps off the page and you just want to see them together. I loved watching these two slowly get to know each other and let their walls down. A few moments had me hoping that these two would just talk, but other than that, Bridesmaid for Hire was perfect for me.
If you're looking for a book with amazing characters, laugh out loud moments, moments that will make you blush, and others that maybe even make you tear up a little, Bridesmaid for Hire is for you. I'm so excited to read the next book in the series.
My review will also be posted on https://thebookdutchesses.com on April 10th.

Another amazing book by Meghan! This one had all the romcom feels and definitely needs to be made into a movie, it would be a box office hit! I loved Brody so much, I loved maggie so much. Plus all the side characters were absolutely amazing. Like do i sense another billionaire series with Hardy and Hudson? I sure hope so!! The chemistry between the 2 characters was undeniable. I give this book infinity stars.
“The only thing that I care about is you. I’m distracted by you. I can’t think with you around. And whenever I see you, my mind goes blank, my heart thumps in my chest, and all I want to do is hold you…even when we’re not pretending.”

He is there for his bosses daughter's wedding, and he is trying to get on his good side. Maggie knkw so she too wants on Mr. Hoppers good side. I will never not read a Meghan Quinn! This latest installment reinforces your title of queen of contemporary rom-coms, I bow down to you!

Meghan Quinn has done it again. She has weaved a tale that draws you in an entertains you throughout
Maggie is a wedding planner and is confident and outgoing. the Complete opposite of the brooding and moody Brody. I loved their interactions, they were hilarious and the banter was witty. Mixed in with red hot chemistry and steam this was a fun and sexy read.

An amazing romantic comedy that will have you laughing throughout the book! Maggie and Brody provide the perfect balance and are there for each other when they tried their best to avoid each other for years. This is a book you’ll read over and over again.

Meghan Quinn absolutely kills the rom-com genre!

Bridesmaid For Hire is Meghan Quinn at her finest! This book made my heart smile. It is witty, charming, steamy, hilarious, and heartfelt. I cackled often at the antics, adventures, and witty banter. I fell so hard for this love story. The characters are real, relatable, and endearing. It was entertaining and unputdownable! You don't want to miss this heartwarming and hilarious romantic comedy! This is a standalone that ends with a HEA.

I loved this book and I couldn't stop reading it once I started it. Maggie and Brody were everything in this book and you can't help but fall in love with these two. This book had me laughing out loud and I loved seeing there relationship grow in this book. Take a chance on this book and you won't be disappointed.

This was classic MQ humor and banter. Overall I enjoyed this. There were a few slow spots and filler. I bet in audio this is amazing, with all the funny texts and convos. I really loved Maggie and Brody. Poor Brody though, he was struggling during the trip. The snake scene had me DYING LAUGHING!
If you want to laugh out loud and take a trip to Bora-Bora, read this book!
-enemies to lovers
-brother’s best friends
-only one bed
-fake dating
-hilarious romcom
Ps. It got spicy around 65% and stayed pretty spicy!

True to Meghan's style, this book is funny and witty with many spicy scenes. I enjoy Meghan's humour based on situations and circumstances. She always manages to write the most insane stuff!

**3.5 Stars**
There were things I loved about this book and things I didn't care for as much.
I REALLY liked Brody. A lot. I felt bad for him every time he was caught doing something embarrassing and I definitely felt some secondhand cringe. He was a great guy though who was trying to help himself out and, unfortunately, kept messing himself up instead. I thought he was so sweet to Maggie even when they were "enemies" and despite the so-called "betrayal" I never hated him.
Maggie was on and off for me. I felt like once she and Brody got together, she was a lot better, but she was the worst before and after. I legitimately don't understand how she can not realize that telling everyone how Brody and Gary celebrate baseball wouldn't be embarrassing. I'll be honest, that part left a bad taste in my mouth. She came across as an idiot in that moment and that felt like it wasn't true to her character. I also thought she WAY overreacted at the "betrayal" and created an issue where she could have just had a conversation with Brody to resolve it all. She also seems like she likes to play games and test people, particularly when she was mad at Brody for not calling when she SPECIFICALLY said she doesn't want to hear from ever again. I don't know. She's definitely NOT my favorite MQ FMC.
The best people in this book were easily the Hopper "kids" and Brody. They brought all the heart and soul this book needed. Especially Hudson and Hardy. I'm really looking forward to their books! Despite Maggie, it really was an entertaining and interesting read. I've read similar books like this in the past, but this one definitely had me chuckling and cringing equally. One thing I will say though, is I'm a little done with the crossovers and references to other books. It was cute and fun for a while, but now I feel like it's a little overdone and I'm ready for some new world building.
Overall, I really did like this book. It's a fun, entertaining beach read that you'll get through pretty quickly.

Where do I begin?
The links between all of Meghan’s books, series and characters makes me so happy. She is truly creating a MQ universe and I am here for all of it!
With a setting like Bora-Bora and characters like Brody, Maggie and Gary, you knew it was going to be such a disaster you had to just laugh.
I loved the story set up, the aforementioned disasters, and everything in between!

I absolutely loved this book! It was so funny, sexy and sweet! Meghan Quinn delivers everytime. I’m such a sucker for brother’s best friend.
Spicy level 4/5
Rating 5/5

Another high laughs romantic comedy from Meghan Quinn! There were moments where she pushed a scene or two too far into zany, but overall this forced proximity, brother’s best friend was great!

Another feel good perfect romance by MQ. She is the equivalent of watching reruns of Friends for me and I absolutely loved this one! Brody & Maggie were perfect together. Brody was not intentionally hilarious (hello snakes & spear fishing & moonshine). But was also demanding(in the best bedroom ways) and so damn HOT. I loved this story and all the smaller plots that made me kept turning pages and curious how all this would pan out. Also, booking a flight to bora bora as we speak to find a man in a speedo.
I got an ALC of this story and let me tell you how amazingly perfect these narrators were. Jason Clarke can play 5 different men in one scene and make you know who’s who somehow. And Erin Mallon is always one of my absolute favorite FMC narrators - funny, spicy, and so good!

Meghan Quinn is such an exceptional writer. She never fails to write the best rom coms that truly make me laugh out loud but also make my heart stop. She writes vulnerability and love so well and it makes me keep coming back for more over and over again.
This romance had everything a classic Meghan Quinn book has: the best banter, insane chemistry between the main characters, amazing spice, laugh out loud humor, and the sweetest ending. Meghan Quinn is one of my auto-buy authors and I will continue to read every single book she comes out with because I’m constantly amazed and obsessed with her books.
*Thank you Netgalley and Bloom Books for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.*

Meghan Quinn is my favorite rom com writer. Every book I read has me cracking up and dying of second hand embarrassment, but also swooning.
I also love all the cross-overs in Meghan’s books. This one had such a multitude of worlds-colliding.
This was a fun read because my husband and I had our honeymoon in Bora Bora so it brought me back there a bit for some reminiscing. Now it really makes me want to go back!

What happens when you like the book, you have all the various feels ~ and lemme tell you, this book will give you all the feels ~ you laugh, swoon, want to reach out and Gibbs smack people and love seeing all the connections to other series and characters of the authors but you find that you liked the secondary characters more than the main ones….you find yourself in a conundrum because you “should” fall in love with the MC’s, it’s kind of why one reads romance, but sometimes you just don’t and that’s where I am.
This isn’t to say that I didn’t like Brody and Maggie, I did, I thought they were both good people with their own quirks that were both endearing and annoying in equal measure who really needed to stop having conversations with themselves in their own heads…which is probably why I’m only in “like” with them and not “love” because between those convos and their poking at each other (not in the fun, smexy way) that did my head in. I understood the “why” behind their animosity, but even after they figured things out, it took its toll on me, so I was happy for them…but (And this is a full on “It’s not you, it’s me” thing)
Though I didn’t fall in love with the MC’s I did really enjoy the time they spent with the Hopper “kids” and I do hope that we get more of them all in the future and maybe even a looksie at the how the couple who got married in the book met and their own journey.
