This book is a perfect beach read. As with all of MQ's books, it's packed with heat, heart, and hilarious hijinx. Funny and full of feels, it's an essential summer read.

I almost forgot how much I liked Maggie... almost. She had me laughing and smiling throughout this book.

Brody and Maggie have history but their last encounter tossed Brody to the "enemy-zone". But when they find themselves in Bora Bora each needing something from one another things take an interesting turn.

Maggie is quick on her feet and steps in the save Brody all the while getting her foot in the door at the wedding of the century. Little does she realize that she just committed herself to Brody's side for the next 10 days.

In true Meghan Quinn fashion we get chemistry with humor and banter. I loved spending time with these two and catching up with our friends from Almond Bay. If you are looking for a new read this is one to grab.

I had a blast reading and it is a new MQ favorite!

Maggie and her brother's best friend end up at the same wedding in Bora Bora and end up fake dating.

This was filled with lots of banter, funny and secondhand embarrassment moments, even some ridiculous scenarios (waking up cuddling his crotch) that still made me laugh.

I appreciated how the breakup played out. I have an issue with previous books where the MMC (especially the older one in an age gap) is a complete jerk and the FMC is so quick to forgive with little no effort from the MMC to deserve a second chance. I felt like this book showed such an improvement with that.

I also appreciated Maggie's brother not being weirdly possessive or toxic.
Overall a fun time and I loved it!

4.5 stars!

This might be my favorite Meghan Quinn book to date. Her banter is always top notch, but she took it to another level with this book. I could not stop laughing for most of this book.

This book follows Maggie, a wedding planner business owner on vacation in Bora Bora, and her brother’s best friend Brody, whom she formally had a crush on but hates his guts now. Brody ends up in Bora Bora at the same time to try and further his career, when Maggie attaches herself to him as his fake girlfriend to also try and take her business further. What follows is pure chaos with laugh out loud moments.

Of course there were great spicy scenes and some emotional moments with the story’s conflict. And the side characters and relationships between Brody and Maggie’s brother, and Maggie and Hattie that we got to see in “The Way I Hate Him” had me giggling throughout. This is definitely a must read! And crossing my fingers for Hudson and Hardy’s stories!

Thank you to MQ and her team for the opportunity to read!

Brody and Maggie are the opposite attract in every way. Oh, and let's not forget the forbidden brothers' best friend detail either!

Meghan never does things by half's and this one... dear Lord, I could not breathe for laughing so hard!. The pecker face cloth morning shenanigans.. died laughing. Legit hurt my ribs.

Brody wants to do everything right and knows exactly how to do such things. The only problem? He overthinks everything, and before he knows it, verbal diarrhoea is falling out, and everything goes Pete tong.

Maggie just has the natural gift of the gab. She sells herself without trying. She's a social butterfly and easily likeable.

She's control, and he's chaos. It made for a hilarious dynamic.

Their chemistry is undeniable, and the connection that blossoms amongst the chaos is precious!. I loved them. They weren't perfect, and in parts, I dislike both for their actions, but honestly, they were perfectly human, and it was easily relatable because, like anyone, they made mistakes. Sometimes out of anger and frustration, and sometimes they genuinely didn't mean to. I loved them for each other. I feel like they gave one another a sense of balance that the other was missing. They made me laugh, swoon, get frustrated and root for them. They made me feel.

Meghan, as always, gives us all the feels, and this is no different. We had a slew of really great side characters that added to the story. A hilariously dysfunctional journey of love that had me hooked from the beginning, and I will say it again.. the belly laughs!!!! Honestly.

I loved it.

I haven't laughed so hard at a book in a while.
I really enjoyed this story and the audiobook brought these characters to life perfectly.

I couldn't wait for Maggie's story after meeting her in The Way I Hate Him and it did not disappoint! She was funny and sassy! Brody was just as funny and cocky to boot. However, he was down to earth, kind, and an excellent book boyfriend when he needed to be.

I had the worst second hand embarrassment for a certain situation that Brody goes to! I was dying inside for him as he was going through it.

Between Maggie and Brody's chemistry, banter, and the way they navigate the unusual situations they find themselves in, I couldn't help but root for them to find their happily ever after!

Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.

I have never wanted to become a part of a story as much as I did when reading this new phenom from Meghan Quinn.

The story of Maggie and Brody and their wild adventure in Bora Bora.

First the destination, Ms. Quinn describes it beautifully and easily places the reader into the world she created.

Maggie and Brody and the definition of a thin line between love and hate and to see their "relationship" develop was fantastic.

You are going to read absolute laugh-out-loud moments, the smexy times will have you grabbing your proverbial pearls in the best way and Brody takes the swoon level to the max.

Maggie is a real woman's hero, she is funny, she is confident and she will do whatever it takes to make her business and brand known.

The bromance between Brody and Gary has got to be one of the best that I have read!

Now this book can be read as a stand-alone, the story stands by itself easily, but as a huge fan-girl of Ms. Quinn, I loved seeing past characters, and past places make their presence known.

If you are looking for a perfect romantic comedy, do yourself a favor and get this book!

This was a fun read that's sort of set in the Almond Bay world. The first half was so much fun. It felt like The Unhoneymooners but with that special MQ charm T™.
The middle part did drag a little for me, but it ended up picking right back up and I was CACKLING. Brody and Maggie were gems.
Their love story was so tender and so sweet.

This audio was soooo good! These two narrators bring this story to life and you can’t help but feel like you are part of this story. These two are my most favorite audiobook narrators and new this book would be everything I expected!

Oh, how I love this couple! Maggie and Brody have a past together that they just can’t get passed.

As Maggie’s older brother’s best friend, Brody is forbidden to touch Maggie! He had been told to stay away from her and he did just that until the day he had a moment of weakness. It just so happened to be at her brother Gary’s wedding. Brody left poor Maggie without explanation after the best kiss either had ever had.

When they cross paths again several years later, can they get passed their situation and actually get along? Can they work together towards a common goal to better their careers? It’s a bumpy ride that you won’t want to miss!! I absolutely love the intermingling of characters from other series living in this same world! Can’t wait to see what come next!

Meghan Quinn's latest novel, Bridesmaid for Hire, is a delightful and entertaining rom-com that is sure to leave readers laughing and swooning. The story follows Maggie Mitchell, an event planner who is ready for a much-needed vacation in Bora Bora, and Brody McFadden, her brother's best friend and sworn enemy. When Maggie learns that Brody is in Bora Bora for his boss's daughter's wedding, she sees an opportunity to offer her services as a bridesmaid and planner, but there's a catch - she needs to pose as Brody's girlfriend to get the job.

The chemistry between Maggie and Brody is electric, and despite their past, they can't deny the sparks that are building between them. The banter and witty dialogue between the two characters are one of the highlights of the book, and it's clear that Quinn has a talent for creating memorable and lovable characters.

The setting of Bora Bora is beautifully described, and it's easy to imagine oneself in the midst of the tropical paradise. The author does an excellent job of weaving in the details of the wedding planning process, and it's clear that she has a deep understanding of the industry.

The plot is engaging, and there are plenty of twists and turns to keep readers on their toes. The pacing is well-balanced, and the book is a quick and easy read. The ending is satisfying, and it's clear that Maggie and Brody's relationship has a bright future ahead.

Overall, Bridesmaid for Hire is a hilarious and heartwarming rom-com that is sure to be a hit with fans of the genre. The characters are well-developed, the plot is engaging, and the setting is beautifully described. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a light-hearted and entertaining read.

I’ve been dying to get Maggie’s story since we were introduced in her best friend Hattie’s book. Maggie and Brody did not disappoint at all. Their banter was top notch, the hate to love vibes were all there, the embarrassment factor was at a 10, the nervous word vomit from both parties was hysterical.

Maggie finally takes a much needed vacation to an incredible resort in Bora Bora in hopes of having a vacation romp with a hunk in a Speedo. Only to discover that it’s basically a couples resort and to add insult injury her brother’s best friend Brody just happens to be there. The same Brody that kissed her within an inch of her life at her brother’s wedding and left her hanging with her self esteem damaged.

While they concoct a plan to get closer to Brody’s boss as a couple, the fake feelings start feeling real for both of them. While they try to prevent the inevitable, their chemistry was just too much. I loved them together faking it and when they were real. They both are quirky and compliment each other so well.

They had me laughing, crying, rooting for them both and wanting to punch Daddy Reggie in the throat. I devoured their story and want more of them and Bora Bora.

I don't know how Meghan Quinn consistently tops herself book after book, but she did it again with Bridesmaid For Hire! Brody and Maggie's story was enemies-to-lovers PERFECTION!

Honestly, I when I started reading this book, I didn't see how this could possibly be the same lovey-dovey couple that we met in The Reason I Married Him. (Fun fact: the epilogue in Bridesmaid For Hire takes place during Maggie and Brody's trip to Almond Bay to visit Hattie, which I thought was brilliant.) But MQ is a romcom genius and she wrote a brilliantly funny, well-executed story about a guy harboring a secret crush for his best friend's little sister and a girl who thinks he hates her as a result.

Listening to Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon perform this audio in duet was *chef's kiss* -- I laughed out loud so many times while listening with my earbuds that I'm pretty sure my family thought I was losing it! The tropical paradise of Bora Bora sets a romantic backdrop for this slow-burn story, and once Brody and Maggie finally confessed to their true feelings (thanks to a bit of alcohol), it was well worth the wait!

Bridesmaid For Hire is the start of a new series, and I can't wait to see what comes next. I hope that Everly finds her guy in one of those sexy Hopper brothers! This book was not only a great tie-in to the Almond Bay series, but it incorporates the Cane Brothers as well, so I hope we see some cameos from those guys in the future!

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Bridesmaid For Hire, the first book in the series by Meghan Quinn is a fake dating, brother's best friend, enemies-to-lovers romcom that can be read as a standalone. If you've read any other books by this author, you will know that Meghan's books are filled with fun antics, banter and filled with many laugh out loud moments.
In this story we get Maggie and Brody. Both are in Bora Bora for different reasons. Maggie is a wedding planner who is on a solo vacation. Brody is on the island to attend a wedding for his boss's daughter. The wedding happening on the island is very high profile and could benefit both Maggie and Brody. Imagine Maggie's surprise when she finds out about the wedding and that her annoyingly handsome brother's best friend has an invite.
With how much these two argue, you can feel the tension seeping out of them. So much so that they end up bickering their way into a fake relationship in front of everyone for the wedding as this could change both their careers. But you know what they say about the thin line between love and hate. Fake starts to turn into something real.
Overall, another hilariously funny story by the quirky Meghan Quinn. Fantastic banter, great supporting characters, spice, steam, the works. Bring on the next book.

Meghan Quinn is a romcom go to author for me. She writes witty banter that has me laughing, chemistry that you can feel right from the start, and emotional moments that tug on my heartstrings. Brody and Maggie immediately had me smiling and interested in the outcome of their surprise meeting in Bora Bora which is #1 on my bucket list of vacation spots. Two single people looking to move ahead in their jobs and needing to act like they're dating in a beautiful island location? Yes, please. This enemies to lovers romance is a great addition to The Almond Bay series and I can't wait to see who's going to fall in love next!

“All the practice he had in college turned him into the Master of Mouths. The Conqueror of Caresses. The Sultan of Salacious Tongues!” </b>

Full of humour and heart, Meghan Quinn delivers another must-read. I loved it!

This book is outrageously laugh out loud funny. I cannot tell you how many times I laughed so hard I cried! Maggie is one of those characters you cannot help but love. She is quirky, funny and wants more in life…
Her kryptonite is Brodie… After sharing a hot passionate moment at her brothers wedding, Brodie aka Henri Cavill look alike became her number one enemy and trust me when I say that she knows how to keep a grudge!
I truly enjoyed reading every single line. All her quirks and awkwardness only make her more appealing.

When they find themselves in Bora Bora, when they agree to be in a fake relationship… they were determined also to not get involved- no feelings… no crossing the line or falling for your brother’s best friend and vice versa. However, together they are perfection and complete each other so well.

Bridesmaid For Hire ticked all my boxes. I needed a good laugh and this book definitely delivered.

This was so funny and the perfect summer read. I’m always a sucker for fake dating but adding in the brother’s best friend x enemies vibes was so fun. Highly recommend.

Feeling down? Having a bad day? Pick up a Meghan Quinn book. Pretty much any of them will help turn that around. Bridesmaid For Hire is no exception. Throughout the entire story, there is banter, thoughts inside the MC’s own heads, and holy crap moments that will have you laughing that involves snorts, tears, or projectile drink and/or food, or all of the above.

I loved these characters. Even though both had some toddler moments sprinkled in, they came through in the end.

“..we all know I’m a loose cannon when it comes to this man—with my luck, my hand would end up down his pants, all the way through his leg hole where I would be waving to everyone around us.”

“The only thing that I care about is you. I’m distracted by you. I can’t think with you around. And whenever I see you, my mind goes blank, my heart thumps in my chest, and all I want to do is hold you…even when we’re not pretending.”

“And it does not go unnoticed to me that in this moment, my life has come full circle. I came to Bora-Bora with one thing in mind, to find a guy in a Speedo that would do dirty things to me.”

“𝐘𝐮𝐩, 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭, 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥.“

Meghan Quinn's romantic comedy Bridesmaid for Hire centers on businessman Brody McFadden and event coordinator Maggie Mitchell.

I sorry, but I didn't have high hopes for this novel because what kind of frat boy name is Brody. I just did not like his name.

I don’t really have much to say about this book. Although it sounded fun based on the synoypsis, I wasn't sure how I should feel throughout the book.

The inclusion of my favorite micro-trope—titty fucking—in this novel was the only aspect of it that I found truly enjoyable. Also, I thought Brody was funny, even with his frat boy name, and I found myself laughing at him.

I didn't really like this novel as much as I had thought, considering I love Meghan and her writing.
