I’ve been dying to get Maggie’s story since we were introduced in her best friend Hattie’s book. Maggie and Brody did not disappoint at all. Their banter was top notch, the hate to love vibes were all there, the embarrassment factor was at a 10, the nervous word vomit from both parties was hysterical.
Maggie finally takes a much needed vacation to an incredible resort in Bora Bora in hopes of having a vacation romp with a hunk in a Speedo. Only to discover that it’s basically a couples resort and to add insult injury her brother’s best friend Brody just happens to be there. The same Brody that kissed her within an inch of her life at her brother’s wedding and left her hanging with her self esteem damaged.
While they concoct a plan to get closer to Brody’s boss as a couple, the fake feelings start feeling real for both of them. While they try to prevent the inevitable, their chemistry was just too much. I loved them together faking it and when they were real. They both are quirky and compliment each other so well.
They had me laughing, crying, rooting for them both and wanting to punch Daddy Reggie in the throat. I devoured their story and want more of them and Bora Bora.

I don't know how Meghan Quinn consistently tops herself book after book, but she did it again with Bridesmaid For Hire! Brody and Maggie's story was enemies-to-lovers PERFECTION!
Honestly, I when I started reading this book, I didn't see how this could possibly be the same lovey-dovey couple that we met in The Reason I Married Him. (Fun fact: the epilogue in Bridesmaid For Hire takes place during Maggie and Brody's trip to Almond Bay to visit Hattie, which I thought was brilliant.) But MQ is a romcom genius and she wrote a brilliantly funny, well-executed story about a guy harboring a secret crush for his best friend's little sister and a girl who thinks he hates her as a result.
Listening to Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon perform this audio in duet was *chef's kiss* -- I laughed out loud so many times while listening with my earbuds that I'm pretty sure my family thought I was losing it! The tropical paradise of Bora Bora sets a romantic backdrop for this slow-burn story, and once Brody and Maggie finally confessed to their true feelings (thanks to a bit of alcohol), it was well worth the wait!
Bridesmaid For Hire is the start of a new series, and I can't wait to see what comes next. I hope that Everly finds her guy in one of those sexy Hopper brothers! This book was not only a great tie-in to the Almond Bay series, but it incorporates the Cane Brothers as well, so I hope we see some cameos from those guys in the future!
I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Bridesmaid For Hire, the first book in the series by Meghan Quinn is a fake dating, brother's best friend, enemies-to-lovers romcom that can be read as a standalone. If you've read any other books by this author, you will know that Meghan's books are filled with fun antics, banter and filled with many laugh out loud moments.
In this story we get Maggie and Brody. Both are in Bora Bora for different reasons. Maggie is a wedding planner who is on a solo vacation. Brody is on the island to attend a wedding for his boss's daughter. The wedding happening on the island is very high profile and could benefit both Maggie and Brody. Imagine Maggie's surprise when she finds out about the wedding and that her annoyingly handsome brother's best friend has an invite.
With how much these two argue, you can feel the tension seeping out of them. So much so that they end up bickering their way into a fake relationship in front of everyone for the wedding as this could change both their careers. But you know what they say about the thin line between love and hate. Fake starts to turn into something real.
Overall, another hilariously funny story by the quirky Meghan Quinn. Fantastic banter, great supporting characters, spice, steam, the works. Bring on the next book.

Meghan Quinn is a romcom go to author for me. She writes witty banter that has me laughing, chemistry that you can feel right from the start, and emotional moments that tug on my heartstrings. Brody and Maggie immediately had me smiling and interested in the outcome of their surprise meeting in Bora Bora which is #1 on my bucket list of vacation spots. Two single people looking to move ahead in their jobs and needing to act like they're dating in a beautiful island location? Yes, please. This enemies to lovers romance is a great addition to The Almond Bay series and I can't wait to see who's going to fall in love next!

“All the practice he had in college turned him into the Master of Mouths. The Conqueror of Caresses. The Sultan of Salacious Tongues!” </b>
Full of humour and heart, Meghan Quinn delivers another must-read. I loved it!
This book is outrageously laugh out loud funny. I cannot tell you how many times I laughed so hard I cried! Maggie is one of those characters you cannot help but love. She is quirky, funny and wants more in life…
Her kryptonite is Brodie… After sharing a hot passionate moment at her brothers wedding, Brodie aka Henri Cavill look alike became her number one enemy and trust me when I say that she knows how to keep a grudge!
I truly enjoyed reading every single line. All her quirks and awkwardness only make her more appealing.
When they find themselves in Bora Bora, when they agree to be in a fake relationship… they were determined also to not get involved- no feelings… no crossing the line or falling for your brother’s best friend and vice versa. However, together they are perfection and complete each other so well.
Bridesmaid For Hire ticked all my boxes. I needed a good laugh and this book definitely delivered.

This was so funny and the perfect summer read. I’m always a sucker for fake dating but adding in the brother’s best friend x enemies vibes was so fun. Highly recommend.

Feeling down? Having a bad day? Pick up a Meghan Quinn book. Pretty much any of them will help turn that around. Bridesmaid For Hire is no exception. Throughout the entire story, there is banter, thoughts inside the MC’s own heads, and holy crap moments that will have you laughing that involves snorts, tears, or projectile drink and/or food, or all of the above.
I loved these characters. Even though both had some toddler moments sprinkled in, they came through in the end.
“..we all know I’m a loose cannon when it comes to this man—with my luck, my hand would end up down his pants, all the way through his leg hole where I would be waving to everyone around us.”
“The only thing that I care about is you. I’m distracted by you. I can’t think with you around. And whenever I see you, my mind goes blank, my heart thumps in my chest, and all I want to do is hold you…even when we’re not pretending.”
“And it does not go unnoticed to me that in this moment, my life has come full circle. I came to Bora-Bora with one thing in mind, to find a guy in a Speedo that would do dirty things to me.”

“𝐘𝐮𝐩, 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭, 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥.“
Meghan Quinn's romantic comedy Bridesmaid for Hire centers on businessman Brody McFadden and event coordinator Maggie Mitchell.
I sorry, but I didn't have high hopes for this novel because what kind of frat boy name is Brody. I just did not like his name.
I don’t really have much to say about this book. Although it sounded fun based on the synoypsis, I wasn't sure how I should feel throughout the book.
The inclusion of my favorite micro-trope—titty fucking—in this novel was the only aspect of it that I found truly enjoyable. Also, I thought Brody was funny, even with his frat boy name, and I found myself laughing at him.
I didn't really like this novel as much as I had thought, considering I love Meghan and her writing.
*Thank you to NetGalley, Bloom Books, Good Girls Pr, and to the author, Meghan Quinn, for providing me with this e-arc in exchange for an honest review.*

IT’s SOOOO GOOD!!!! Meghan Quinn never fails!!! This book has everything brothers best friend, fake relationship, one bed, sass, witty banter, ties to other books and an evil boss daddy. Maggie is absolutely hilarious she brings so much sass it just makes you happy. Brody is funny and cocky and yet down to earth and definitely book boyfriend material. I absolutely love their story.

In "Bridesmaid for Hire" by Meghan Quinn, the wedding of the century in Bora Bora brings together Maggie Mitchell and Brody McFadden, who share a tumultuous history.
Maggie, an event planner seeking a break, finds herself in a dilemma when she realizes the potential for business growth by offering her services for the wedding. The catch? She must pose as Brody's girlfriend. As tensions rise and sparks fly, the stage is set for a romantic comedy filled with misunderstandings, adventures, and unexpected twists. 🏖️💍
Maggie and Brody's dynamic is a rollercoaster of emotions, fueled by years of tension and unresolved feelings. The banter between them is electric, and their chemistry leaps off the pages. While Brody charms with his pretend innocence and humor, Maggie's complexities add depth to the story. Despite their flaws, their journey is relatable and heartwarming, showcasing the power of forgiveness and second chances. 💑
"Bridesmaid for Hire" is a delightful, summery read that captivates from start to finish. Meghan Quinn's witty writing style and engaging plot keep readers hooked, evoking nostalgic vibes reminiscent of classic rom-coms. While the characters may have their quirks and imperfections, it's their journey towards love and self-discovery that makes this book a standout. "I’m a bit of a cinnamon roll. Sure, I’m a touch crusty on the outside, held together by sarcasm and hard work, but on the inside, I’m a fucking gooey mess, clinging to the fact that the woman sitting across from me is my dream girl. All I want to do is kiss her and hold her and tell her that she is so fucking beautiful.”
I freaking loved this book! It was hilarious reading how Maggie bumps into Brody, her brother’s best friend, at her vacation in Bora Bora. Maggie can’t stand Brody after he made out with her at her brother’s wedding, and then ditched her. Maggie and Brody decide to being a fake relationship that will benefit both of them during their stay. I loved reading how Brody fell hard for Maggie. He has always had feelings for her, and I loved how they slowly started to bubble through the surface. As you can tell from the quoteabove, Brody is so freaking swoony! I loved how much he was in love with Maggie. To the point where he would even mention how beautiful she was multiple times lol! The steamy scenes in this book were amazing and I especially loved how Maggie and Brody finally got together! I’m not the biggest fan of miscommunication break up, so I wish that the characters had talked it out. I also felt like poor Brody got the short end of the stick with how he was treated by everyone! 😭 The ending though was amazing and I’m so happy that Brody and Maggie got their HEA!

Thank you Meghan Quinn for an ARC copy of this book ♡
I always know what I’m going to get with Meghan Quinn and it’s always a silly, goofy, swoony, lovely time. And this book delivered on all fronts!
I thought this book was so so fun and I loved Maggie even more than I did when we got peeks of her in The Reason I Hate Him! She is so silly and (much to Brody’s chagrin) charming. I loved seeing her confidence and charismatic personality! She is not afraid to be silly and laugh at herself and also takes herself seriously as a business woman and knows what she is capable of!
Brody was such a sweet (albeit grumpy at times) puppy dog and he says stuff that had me laughing out loud a few times! He has such a rough go of it throughout this book but he takes a lot of it in stride and has a good sense of humor about it (in hindsight)! They both compliment each other so well and I loved seeing them interact.
Another thing that I love in MQ books are the bromances. The moments we got to see Brody and Gary interact were so funny and I could’ve read several more chapters of them just being silly together!
My one and only thing I don’t love is how Maggie talks to Hattie about Hayes. I just find the things she says a little over the line and I can’t imagine ever being okay with one of my best friends speaking about my partner like that.
Overall, I really enjoyed this story! I really loved Hudson and Hardy and hope that we get to see more of their stories in coming books!!

This book was SO GOOD. Meghan Quinn always wins. She could write my chore list and I’d give it 5 stars. Everything you’re looking for in a classic MQ book is here: hilarious banter and moments, heart-racing spice, and a swoon-worthy HEA. It’s is a MUST READ!

“So get comfortable, because when we’re in public, I’m going to be white knighting you all over the place.”
A vacation romcom from Meghan? Yes please!
Maggie is in Bora Bora for a much needed vacation which means not thinking about work at all. Until she hears about the wedding happening at the hotel she’s staying at. Getting involved in this wedding will bring her business to the next level so she needs an in somehow.
And then she sees Brody, her brother’s best friend who she happens to despise.
Brody is desperate to be in his boss’s good side so when the only way that can happen is to pretend to be in a relationship with Maggie, he didn’t hesitate at all.
Tension between them has been high especially after that kiss at Maggie’s brothers wedding and now that they’re fake dating, can they forget about their differences long enough to get what they both want?
Be prepared to laugh a lot! Poor Brody! anything that can go wrong seems to go wrong. The tension between Maggie and Brody is high so lots of banter! All that banter translated well in the bedroom! Lots of spice with this two! The chemistry between them is electric! But there were also some very soft and romantic moments to balance it out.
“So big. So long. Dear God in heaven, the silhouette matches the imprint I can still feel in my hand.”
Bromance galore! Definitely got a kick out of those. The secondary characters were also fun and interesting, wouldn’t mind getting their stories too!
An enemies to lovers, brother’s best friend, fake dating, vacation rom com that will have you laughing, swooning and falling in love.

So blissfully funny. I actually liked Maggie a lot more in her own book than I did in Hattie’s book. Brody was very likable and really funny. I felt for him through most of the book, the poor guy 😂 I loved the beginning, middle and end! Very solid book and I can’t wait for more Hopper family books!

This is by far one of the funniest books I’ve read by this author , she’s really brought the characters to life here , Maggie and Brody were fun to watch develop though the prediction sport they get themselves into haha soo funny how they go about it and I love that they are in a tropical spot when tho goes down, love reading about tropical places , everyone needs to go read this book ,

This is hands down Meghan’s funniest book, I was crying from laughing so hard and of course the spice was oh so nice;) It was such a fun and joyous read, def recommend for a must have on vacations this summer or when you just need a great pick me up!

’m serious when I say every new Meghan book I read becomes my new fave. This book was so much more than I expected. The banter, the spice…absolute perfection.
This story follows Maggie and Brody. Maggie heads to Bora Bora for a much needed work vacation from her wedding planning business. Brody, her brother’s best friend, is at the very same resort attending his boss’s daughter’s wedding. They end up bickering their way into a fake dating agreements for the benefit of both of their careers.
Meghan is seriously one of the only authors that has me cackling like a damn hyena. Everything that Brody went through on this damn trip…ugh I feel for him and I love him so much. The humor as always was top tier.
The bickering and banter between the two had me laughing the entire time! They really were hilarious together, even if I did get a bit annoyed with Maggie at times. Eventually, their passion takes over and sparks fly!
Loved the new characters that Meghan introduced and fingers crossed they get a book!

I loved everything about this story, and Maggie has become one of my favorite heroines. She’s confident and ambitious. And she doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her. She impresses without even trying. But the star of the show for me was Brody. I love this sweet, tender little guy. He’s funny and smart. He’s ambitious as well but not cocky about it. And the way he sees Maggie, just heart fluttering. I’m starting to think that I Meghan is stuck with me for life because her books just do something for me. She’s my absolute favorite!

This was another fun book by this author. Whether new to books or an old friend it has a little bit of everything for everyone and definitely keeps you on your toes.
