Maggie has been convinced by her friend that she needs a vacation from the business she has been building in wedding planning and where better than Bora Bora. After her arrival not only does she run into her brother’s best friend Brody but the fact that his boss is there is too good of an opportunity to let slip through her fingers without trying to show him how good she is at her job even if it means pretending to be Brody’s girlfriend.
Brody’s manager has convinced him to take her place at the wedding of their boss’s daughter, so he finds himself in Bora Bora where he feels so out of his depth and that was before he found out that Maggie was there as well. He has been trying to deny his feelings for her for years but pretending to be a couple and sharing the same resort you know that the heat and the fun is going to rise!
You can’t help but feel for Brody with everything he had to endure but the connection he had with Maggie made it all worthwhile. The audio copy of this story was perfection as it brought out the funny times, the heat and all the feels as they fight for the happiness they both deserve.

I am now and forever will be a Meghan Quinn Fan, she will always be a auto download and read for me. Huge thanks to her team and Goodgirl PR for providing not only and eARC but also a PROMO BOX!!! Do I smell a new interconnected series brewing?? My favorite series by MQ are the Brentwood boys series (obvi) and the Royal series.
Maggie is on her dream vacation in Bora Bora and on the hunt to find a hot guy in a speedo ;) But just before she can get too comfortable, Brody McFadden shows up. Brody is attending a company wedding AND on a mission while in Bora Bora, he is determined to make a good impression with his boss and ensure his success. But Brody does not start off well at all...just like linen does not do well in humidity. A fake relationship is born at this time with a strict contract and everything.
The entire Bora Bora experience is not only hilarious (the gams, come on!) but also eye opening and slightly frustrating. MQ does a phenomenal job building the suspense and HIGH levels of tension between the two. This is top notch banter yall, it does not get better than this!! I loved the balance and dynamic between Maggie and Brody. They definetly bring out the best in each other and balance each perfectly.
I'm hoping this is the start of another interconnected character series, it was such an exciting moment to see glimpses of other characters and what they are up to. The spice is always good with MQ, not too much but not too little. Tons of action, those beach games had me LOLING.

"Maybe it's karma from walking away unsatisfied. So, it's time to blast Taylor Swift's "The Man" in my head and do what I need to do"
"You're going to face rejection, that's bound to happen, but how you rise up from that rejection will define who you really are"
"Terrified because I shouldn't be this in tune with the man. I shouldn't be able to communicate without having to say a word"
"Let's get one thing straight. I'll never waste my time faking an orgasm. If you can't get the job done, then I get it done myself. I'm not here to preserve any fragile male egos"
"You make me crazy" "Same, Maggie".

Brother's best friend is a superior trope for me... I said what I said.
Maggie is determined to have some rest, relaxation and X-rated activities on her vacation in Bora-Bora. She's been working so hard at her wedding planning business and needs to let off some steam. The absolute last person she expected to see on the remote island is Brody, her brother's best friend. He's attending a wedding for work and quickly Maggie latches on to the idea of advancing her career, so pretending to fake date him is the obvious choice, right?
Brody is desperate to get a leg up on his competition at work. And that means flying to Bora-Bora, travelling by boat to the island (throwing up ---hey motion sickness) and sleeping on a chair for accommodations...what vacations are made of, right?
I loved this story, Meghan had me cackling throughout...poor Brody...he had some pretty terrible luck. And the way Erin and Jason delivered the lines and their exceptional comedic timing, absolute perfection for me. And not even in dialogue with each other but the internal dialogue...there were moments when I couldn't breathe because I was laughing so hard. And their chemistry was outstanding!

This was a good time. Hilarious and a quick read. Perfect to bring to the pool or beach this summer. I love a man who has been pining for years and finally gets his chance. Even better when it starts out fake.
Forced proximity. Brothers best friend. Beach goodness. HEA always.

Bridesmaid for Hire by Meghan Quinn was a fun, quirky read! I immensely enjoyed this book and the couple that starred in it. I have been looking forward to Maggie's book since she was introduced in a previous book. I was not disappointed! Congratulations, and great job, Meghan!
Brody and Maggie were so fun to read about! Meghan is one author who ALWAYS makes me laugh, and these two were no different. I sometimes seriously wonder how Meghan comes up with scenes like these. I loved this book so much, and I advise you to read it. Again, great job, Meghan!
Read Bridesmaid for Hire by Meghan Quinn today!

Once again Meghan delivers with the perfect amount of banter and spice! Fake dating and vacation romance you can't go wrong.

This book is laugh out loud hilarious from start to finish! I loved these characters, the setting, the narrators, the storyline and just EVERYTHING!!! well done once again M Quinn!

Brody and Maggie…. Another Meghan Quinn couple to love!! On minute you are laughing out loud, the next, you fall in love with them!!
Maggie is away on vacation and winds ip seeing her brother’s best friend who has always had a crush on her.
They agree to help each other out and now she’s a bridesmaid for his bosses daughter and she’s Brody’s girlfriend. I loved them learning stuff about each other and falling for each other.
They have great chemistry and banter and Brody has a tender heart to Maggie!

The start of this one was cute and a bit funny but seemed slow to get to the real action and plot. After halfway I was more invested and wanted to see how everything played out!
Brody was so sweet with his compliments and adoration for his girl. He redeemed himself after a major mishap for sure and the ending was nicely wrapped up yet open for the next book. I can’t wait to see where the series goes from here on out.

Meghan Quinn never fails to make me genuinely laugh out loud when I read one her books. I always have a good time with her stories, but this one had such like early 2000s romcom vibes that it almost felt nostalgic.
I loved the side characters and as someone who has read a LOT of MQ books, I always get excited when characters from other books/series make an appearance.
Oh and the banter was *chefs kiss* as always
Highlights:
- Romance: MF
- Brother’s best friend
- Fake dating
- Hate-to-love
- Forced proximity
- One bed
Thank you to Meghan Quinn, GoodGirlsPR and Bloom Books for the advance reader copy. Decision to read/review was my own. Opinion is my own.

3.5 stars rounded down to 3. I am a huge Meghan Quinn fan + will read everything she writes and always support her and advertise for her upcoming releases. However, this one just wasn’t my favorite. Brody just wasn’t my kind of MMC. He was always getting hurt and was always the comedic relief but it just made him seem a little dorky? Also, this one seemed kinda similar to the way I hate him (ie. Both fake dating/marriage of convenience, enemies to lovers, one bed, etc). I also found a couple issues with the plot. I didn’t love how he went to the wedding for his boss? Seemed kinda odd and then I got an ick that they were both pretending to be their friends for personal gain? I can’t see that going over well in the real world. I’ll keep reading the series bc I loved the banter, the laughs and all the connections to her other books!

This one had its ups & downs for me for sure by MY GOD the audio was so good. Two of my faves killed it: Jason Clarke & Erin Mallon!! I could get lost in listening to them speak. ANYWHO BACK TO WHAT YOURE REALLY HERE FOR.
This newest of Meghan’s honest to god caused me so much fucking anxiety I had to take a break bc I was so damn nervous anticipating the worst to happen in the story that it was actually impacting me IRL!!!!! I love romcoms because they make me giggle & enjoy them, but Jesus this one was almost as if something went wrong at each & every turn!!!
The sexy scenes were 💯 but the bad shit was BAD. My heart went out to Brody lmao. I was so beyond thrilled that we were finally getting Maggie’s story (from the way I hate him & one of my all time faves) but this one just hurt me 😭😭😭
There were still some enjoyable scenes & I had a good time (at the beginning), but not my favorite MQ book by any means.
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Tropes:
Fake dating
Forced proximity (in a bungalow in bora bora!!!)
Only one bed
It’s always been you
Brother’s best friend
Hate to Love

Overall, this was a fun and lighthearted book and I really liked the idea of the book! I loved the enemies to lovers, fake dating, and brother best friends tropes that this book had! There’s some things I really loved about this book while other things I really disliked…
To start, I loved the vibe of this book and where it was set! Being set in Bora Bora, it had all the island vacation vibes that I loved! This book transported me on vacation and I love the details and the fun setting! I really enjoyed the side characters in this book, especially the Hopper siblings! I also loved the humour in this book that I now expect from a MQ book, as well as the spicy scenes! It was a bit cheesy and predictable, but it was a really fun story overall!
There’s a couple of things I didn’t love too too much about this book, such as how it felt a bit long, especially in the middle of the book… I also didn’t love our two main characters all that much and I actually found them a bit annoying at times… Especially Brody at the beginning, I felt like a lot of what he said was quite cringey 🙈
Overall, this was a pretty fun book with fun tropes and a fun plot! There was some ups and downs, but I was so happy to finally see Maggie’s story and I love how she finally found her happily ever after!

Maggie is the best girl’s girl ever and, just like I felt after The Way I Hate Him, I just want to be her best friend! Brody, although I wouldn’t say is in my top few book boyfriends, leaves you just wanting to hug him throughout the book. Poor dude had some bad luck!
The characters that made the book for me, though, were the Hoppers and Jude. I need the back story of Haisley and Jude and can’t wait to read more about the Hopper twins. Daddy Reggie can suck it and I wish Regina would have played a bigger part. Gary is a lovable doofus and his wife, Patricia, is a saint to put up with his and Brody’s shenanigans!
Love it! Definitely recommend!

You know when you pick up a Meghan Quinn Book you're in for a good time and as always she delivered on that. This book was so much more than laughs and steam, I loved the dynamic between Maggie and Brody and Brody and Gary, who is Maggies brother and Brodys best friend. They have THE sweetest bromance. It was adorable.
Poor Brody, I really felt sorry for him he just seemed so lost I all the stuff he went through, as funny as it was I was cringing with him. Maggie was a hoot. I loved her when we first met her she's one of my favourite Quinn characters. I loved how the story panned out, especially with the Almond Bay, Cane Brother's tie-in.
I really can't wait to see where these characters take us next. I love them all and can't wait to see what they bring us next.

4.5/5
This was such a cute and fun summer romance read! The tropes were: brothers best friend, enemies to lovers, fake dating, oh and the MMC looks like Henry Cavill. 😏
Maggie and Brody had amazing chemistry, and this read like an early 2000’s rom com- I felt almost nostalgic while reading it, I laughed a LOT, I love Meghan Quinn’s ability to write an interesting story while also making you laugh.
My only complaint is that it’s so long- this is a me thing though, I just don’t like reading romance books longer than 350 pages. But, it was worth it, and I really really enjoyed it!

This book is a complete & utter delight. Fast paced, funny, and lovable characters that you’re constantly rooting for.
It felt like an escape to a tropical vacation without having to get up off of my couch. A perfect summer read - preferably on a beach somewhere with a drink in hand.
This is the first book I’ve read by Meghan Quinn and will absolutely not be my last.

Brody & Maggie oh where do I begin! Bridesmaid for Hire had me laughing out loud and swooning even harder. Loved it!
This book was such a fun read. Both Brody & Maggie are looking to further their careers and so of course a fake relationship is the answer. The hilarious moments that followed (the cuddling and wardrobe choices to name a few) and everything else in between will leave you with all the feels and just loving this story. I was able to listen to the audio and this book is another perfect matchup with Jason Clarke & Erin Mallon as Brody & Maggie. If you love audio I definitely recommend!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I honestly believe that Meghan Quinn rarely misses. Bridesmaid for Hire yet again did NOT disappoint. I had the BEST time reading Maggie and Brody's story. These two were so much fun together and SO obviously perfect for one another. Maggie is such a strong FMC and Brody is a total secret cinnamon roll who is totally gone for her.
Meghan's comedic writing just hits the right way every time I read one of her books. If you take the best banter + HOT spicy scenes + the slapstick-type comedy that Meghan excels at, Bridesmaid for Hire is the perfect rom-com read! The Bora Bora setting makes this book a great choice for when you're by the pool or at the beach this year.
If you've read the Almond Bay series, you've already met Maggie and Brody, but you don't have to read the Almond Bay series first (you should totally read it anyway though). Bridesmaid for Hire is a complete standalone and Meghan did a wonderful job setting up even more storylines that will be connected to all of her other books.
The duet narration by Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon was also so well done. They brought a ton of emotion to the characters but their delivery of the jokes was spot on. Thank you to Meghan Quinn for providing an eARC and ALC of Bridesmaid for Hire to your review crew!
