When you go to your Big, Big Bosses Daughters Wedding in Bora Bora as a "" Business Trip "" you DO NOT expect to see you Best Friends Little Sister on vacation !! The digs, hatred and jokes these two have for each other will have you rolling in the isle with laughter .. until things start to change. When you see the other person with different eyes .. loving, caring and NOT full of themself they both start to wonder if the feelings they had for each other at her brothers wedding all those years ago were really, really true ??

Maggie is trying to expand her wedding planning business " Magical Moments by Maggie" and Brody is trying to win a job proposal, it just seems natural for them to work together and form a contract that we ALL know they will not stick too .. That is when the real fun begins and the laughter you get out of it will have you smiling and laughing to yourself as you are reading !!

BUT we all know Daddy Reggie has other things up his sleeve for these two !! Reginald Hopper is the CEO of Hopper Industries and Brody's boss, so when Brody tries to impress "" Daddy Reggie "" makes sure other things happen to Brody and OH BOY do they happen all right !! Can you see the tears rolling down my face from laughing so HARD !! Snake bites .. Tequila .. LOLOLOLOL Oh and did I mention a little this called BLACKMAIL !! LOLOLOLOLOL

Meghan this was a 1 million star girl !! Go get yours NOW !!

Oh how I love a vacation romance! I just finished the duet-style audiobook and I enjoyed it so much. Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke always do a spectacular job with their narration and they really brought characters Maggie and Brody to life with their performances in Bridesmaid for Hire. Author Meghan Quinn always makes me cackle with laughter and there were so many hilarious moments. Seriously, so many! I'm excited to see this book listed as #1 in the series because I definitely want to read more about this group!

A wonderful vacay ready read.

A brothers best friend romcom, can’t go wrong with those.

Loved seeing the Easter eggs Meghan Quinn always graces us with.

Along with so many laugh out loud moments.

Some might say the couple was a bit too much at times but that just added to the quirkiness of the storyline. Which I enjoyed. Along with other storylines with this adjacent story.

Can’t go wrong with this one.

Maggie and Brody's story is a best friends brother (which I LOVE), fake dating (I normally don't like) & a bunch of other tropes. Im a sucker for a good cinnamon roll mmc. I just adored Brody. Their chemistry had you feeling it through the pages. Loved their banter. This was another good read by this author. Looking forward to the next.

Brody has ✨sworn✨ to Maggie’s brother that he will never touch her, but when the two agree to fake date your typical MQ chaos happens and ✨ALL✨ the rules go out the window 🔥

✨Bridesmaid for Hire✨ like every other MQ book made me snort a ridiculous amount and laugh out loud several times 😂 However the comedy and spice is about where my enjoyment with this book ends 😕 I ✨strongly✨ disliked the FMC, Maggie. She was mean, childish, and annoying and, in my opinion, it took away from the story a lot. The third-act conflict also didn’t make much sense and it seems lately like all her endings are rushed 😕

While I hold those opinions, this book was well written and the comedy and spice were ✨A+✨ I’m also ✨SO✨ excited to get to Hudson and Hardy books hopefully 🤞🏻 I was immediately drawn to them 💖

Bridesmaid for Hire is a steamy and absolutely hilarious enemies to lovers, fake dating romance which grips you from the very start and is Brody and Maggie's incredible story.
Maggie Mitchell has more than earned herself a vacation after years of breaking her back over making her event planning business a success, she needs a break, a work free break and the beautiful island of Bora Bora is the perfect place for relaxation and the island men preferably in speedos are definitely in for a treat once Maggie arrives! But Maggie cannot believe her luck, the wedding of the century is happening while she is on vacation and it is happening at the resort she's staying at, what are the chances? This could be the in she so desperately needs to launch her business even further, a relationship with Hopper Industries would be life changing and even though she promised herself and everyone around her that she will not work on this trip she cannot help herself.
Brody McFadden has a business idea that he truly believes in but the only problem is he has to convince the big boss that he should go with his idea and not Devil Deanna's. So when his boss and friend offers him the chance to go to the big boss's daughter's wedding, which would also happen to be an island getaway to showcase how great he is as a person, he knows he needs all the help he can get.
Understandably at the welcome party Brody is extremely nervous, a lot rides on him being liked by Reginald Hopper so when his best friend's little sister walks up and drapes her arms around him and introduces herself to everyone as his girlfriend Brody couldn't be more confused.
Maggie would do anything to put herself in the position to be around Reginald Hopper even if that means pretending to be in a loving relationship with a guy she despises. You see it hasn't always been hate between Brody and Maggie, unbeknown to both of them, they each have had a crush on each other for many years but because of Gary (Maggie's brother and Brody's best friend) they've never explored their attraction, except from that one time which is what lead to the hatred between them but the less said about that encounter the better!
"sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures.
Sometimes we're dealt cards in our life that are harder to shuffle through than expected.
And sometimes you're stuck on a small Polynesian island with no other option than to pretend the person you hate most in the entire world is actually your boyfriend..."
However spending all day together and pretending to be madly in love is making those sparks they've been trying hard to bury come bubbling to the surface and crossing the line became a matter of time.
"I've liked this man for a while.
I've hated him for maybe just as long.
But one thing is for sure-the line between love and hate is very thin"
Being together is so much more than either Brody and Maggie could have imagined and it becomes quite clear that this isn't a vacation fling, they both want more.
"When I started this vacation, I was looking for a fling, something to help me relax for ten days. But this, with Brody, I want this to last long past these ten days. I want this back in San Francisco.
I want us to carry this through."
But whilst they've been on cloud nine in paradise, Reginald has been plotting against them and if he gets his way both Maggie and Brody could lose everything, including each other.
Is Maggie and Brody's new found relationship strong enough to conquer someone with Reginald's power and influence?
Read Bridesmaid for Hire now to find out!
I absolutely LOVED Bridesmaid for Hire, I could not put it down, it was incredibly addictive and I loved every second of it! There are not any words strong enough or even good enough to describe how absolutely phenomenal Bridesmaid for Hire is, Brody and Maggie have stayed with me long after I read The End. I absolutely LOVE Brody and Maggie as characters, they are truly feel good characters who you willing hand your heart over to and are not too bothered about getting it back! I also cannot see how any other characters will be able to knock them or this book off of my favourite Meghan Quinn character or book spot. Bridesmaid for Hire is easily my top read of 2024 and to be honest I cannot see that changing, it was that good! I am really hoping that Haisley's brothers get books as they were so easy to love too and I loved getting to revisit with Hattie and Hayes. Bridesmaid for Hire is the perfect example of why Meghan is one of my favourite authors, she writes addictive storylines with main characters and secondary characters that you can't help falling for and worlds that you'd do anything to be a part of! I cannot wait for what Meghan does next, I'll be counting down the days!

This book this book is laugh out loud funny. Everything I needed in my life. A good humored Meghan Quinn book. Maggie, if you have met her already, you know she has a special way about herself and getting to know her in this book is so much fun. Brody, her brothers best friend, who she has been crushing on for years, shows up on her vacation. Who could have imagined this!?! He is trying to get in good with his boss, makes some good impressions that help him back at the office. However Maggie’s presence put his mind in a tailspin. She is everything both he and his boss need in their lives. While he does everything to continue to embarrass himself and dig a bigger hole. What started as a fake girlfriend to help his appearance has turned into more…. So much more. A witty read that I loved.

I really loved Maggie in The Way I Hate Him and was excited to read her love story in Bridesmaid For Hire.

Vacationing in a tropical location, Maggie is on the prowl. After all, she works hard running her own wedding planning company, she deserves it. She’s excited for what’s to come until she runs into her brother’s best friend, Brody. The same guy who made out with her and left her high and dry years before.

Brody is not on a true vacation. He’s there to try and schmooze his boss. He’s definitely not there to flirt with his best friend’s sister.

At least until Maggie pretends to be his girlfriend right in front of his boss…and it just snowballs from there!

I laughed out loud multiple times and really enjoyed this rom com!

A scorchin hot romcom packed with sexy, witty banter, memorable characters, tons of laugh-out-loud moments, and tropes for days! Let's not forget the interconnected characters for devoted readers!

Maggie Mitchell is on vacation to relax, recharge, and take her mind off of work. When her plans are thrown off course and she's asked to help a bride in distress will she do what she does best or gracefully decline?

Just when things couldn't get any crazier the one man who curled her toes, left her wanting so much more for a hot second, and than ran for the hills. With years to plan his slow death...he's resurfaced. Just because he's her brothers best friend doesn't mean she can't seek revenge.

Brody McFadden is on his way to a company wedding in the hopes of advancement at work and proving he's a valuable asset. When he is reiunited with the one woman he can't stop thinkin about, will he survive their happy reunion or will she hand him his jewels on a platter? Can they shmooze their way around a little white lie?

First they must negotiate the terms of ther arrangement and make a few promises. Will they finally find closure after all these years. Or, will it reignite something they never expected?

Bridesmaid for Hire was classic Meghan Quinn with humor, great banter, swoony romance, and entertaining dual POV.

In an enemies to more story you have to walk a fine line. Too little tension between the characters and you don't buy the reason they are enemies. Too much angst and you don't want them to be together. Meghan Quinn did an excellent job building the mutual dislike and subsequent attraction between Brody and Maggie. When they realize a fake relationship can benefit them it doesn't take long for sparks to fly. I could not wait to see them get their HEA.

This was such a fun, entertaining read. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn't put the book down.

Adored getting to see the origin of Maggie & Brody’s relationship after meeting them in Meghan’s previous release The Reason I Married Him. Their dynamic and banter was hilarious, the destination setting was stunning and the premise and wedding festivities were so much fun. I adored the side characters we were introduced to and I pray we get to see them in future books. If there’s one thing Meghan is the undisputed queen of in my opinion (besides hilarity and spice) it’s bromances. We were once again treated to a hysterical bromance between Brody & Gary as well as the budding friendship between Brody and the Hooper boys & Jude. Maggie & Hattie remain my favourite duo and I loved how seamlessly the epilogue blended with book 2 of her Almond Bay series.

I loved every minute of this story and cannot wait to see where Meghan takes us next!

I loooooooved this book! I couldn’t read it fast enough. Maggie is a hoot! She says things before her brain can catch up and she’s good about making things up on the fly. Which is good for her when she runs into Brody on her vacation. Her relaxing, dream beach vacation suddenly turns into something very different with Brody’s arrival. I enjoyed the chemistry between them. I liked their banter and the history between them. At some point in time, they had liked each other but didn’t act on those feelings for different reasons. But when they’re thrown together, feelings can’t be helped! I devoured this book and didn’t want to adult. So I read it in a day. I was lost in all. The. Feels. Be sure not to let this book pass you by!

Meghan Quinn’s newest release (and likely first in a new series) was a destination wedding based enemies to lovers rom-com. Maggie is a budding wedding planner trying to expand her business and she believes the way in is to partner with Hopper hotels. She makes her way to Haisley Hopper’s wedding and runs into her long term crush, Brody (her brother’s BFF). Brody is there with his own agenda – to get in front of the same CEO to help pitch his proposal for his organization. Maggie inserts hersealf to a bumbling conversation with Brody and the CEO and claims to be his girlfriend. When one of Haisley’s bridesmaids cannot make the wedding, Maggie steps in to help.

The activities during the week between the wedding party and guests are hilarious and a mix of athleticism and tragedy, and ended with Brody bearing the brunt of the injuries, both physically and emotionally. Little angst, some family drama and dynamics make this more interesting, and the intersection of past brothers with current siblings all made this a great read.

This is a cute, fun read for anyone who loves 27 Dresses or Anyone But You! It was my first Meghan Quinn book and I had a good time.

I did love it until about 60% and then it fell a little flat for me personally. I also didn’t love how all the conflict went down.

But don’t let that stop you from reading it if you want a fun, spring-y read!

Meghan Quinn is the Queen of Rom-Coms! If she writes it, I'll read it, no questions asked. She is hands down one of my favorite authors.

Maggie and Brody unknowingly find themselves at the same resort in Bora Bora. Maggie is there for a much-needed vacation, while Brody, Maggie's brother's best friend, is there to attend his boss's daughter's wedding. When they literally bump into each other, Maggie is less than pleased to have Brody's presence interrupt her vacation and quest for single men in Speedos. However, when she sees an opportunity to advance her business, she quickly attaches herself to Brody as his fake girlfriend. It turns out neither of them wants this arrangement to be fake.

I am obsessed! Meghan BROUGHT IT! Bridesmaid for Hire is hilarious! I was locked in from the prologue. There were times I stopped and re-read scenes because I couldn't believe something was happening or being said. The situations in which Maggie and Brody found themselves had me seriously laughing out loud. How does one go to such a beautiful place and have such bad luck? Poor Brody! I am a sucker for a good enemies-to-lovers and fake dating plot, and this story did not disappoint. Meghan always creates the best characters. I loved Maggie and Brody together. Their relationship was real and relatable. The side characters were also amazing and added so much to the story. The friendships and bromances in this story were so good. I need more of Hudson and Hardy! I enjoyed the enormous amount of humor, the witty banter, and the spice. Bridesmaid for Hire is a fun adventure and is the perfect summer read.

NARRATION:
This was a duet-style narration performed by Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon. Their performance was perfect, and I felt like I was watching a movie. I could absolutely listen to Jason and Erin narrate every single rom-com I read and never get bored. They portrayed the characters and their personalities very well. Jason and Erin really made me feel the tension and chemistry between Maggie and Brody. The romantic, spicy, and comedic moments were expertly executed. The book alone is amazing, but the narration takes this to a different level.

Thanks to Meghan Quinn, Sourcebooks, and Bloom Books for the e-ARC and ALC. Opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Looking for a vacation-esque read that makes you feel the love and the heat? Maggie & Brody’s story is just that!

And you better buckle up for those fun filled adventures!

The secret is… both Maggie and Brody have feelings for one another deep down but have never told the other. When their eyes are finally open, their chemistry causes sparks that leave you fanning yourself.

So can Brody pull off the kissing up to his boss to win the proposal? Can Maggie win over the Hoppers to better her business? You’ll just have to read this one and find out for yourself.

Lighthearted and swoony read, this story was the perfect addition for lazy vacation reading.
Lovable and likable characters, the imagery added to the story so I felt I was a wedding guest in the idyllic location of Bora Bora.
Hilarious snarky banter and yummy sexy times I thoroughly enjoyed Maggie and Brody’s story.
As a diehard fan of this author’s story an added bonus was seeing cameo appearances of characters from prior reads.
Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Another hilarious and spicy romcom by one of my favorite authors! Bridesmaid for Hire is an enemies to lovers brother’s best friend romance set against the island paradise of Bora Bora. I loved it so much!

Maggie is a workaholic wedding planner, who is forcing herself to finally take a vacation. While she is there, she bumps into Brody, her brother’s carefree & fun bestie, who happens to be attending the wedding of a prestigious and wealthy family that Maggie would like an in with. Brody is also hoping to impress this family as the bride’s father owns the company he works for and he is making an important pitch soon. He’s hoping that spending time with his boss outside of the office will help earn him some much needed favor inside the office.

Maggie and Brody had similar goals, but the two of them have such different personalities that it was so funny to see them collaborate. They also had great chemistry, and so much tension before they gave into their attraction.

I love the outlandish situations that get interwoven into this author’s stories. There was a particularly memorable island hike involving a snake that had me laughing so hard I woke up my husband, who was trying to sleep peacefully next to me. Poor Brody ended up in the worst (but also hilarious) situations. I also loved the appearances and mentions of other characters in the Meghanverse.

It is definitely a talent to make a reader fall in love with a character, but it is an even bigger talent to get us to hate them with the passion. Although Reginald (Brody’s boss) was no Halsey’s mom (IYKYK), I despised him so much. He was such a jerk, and I wish him a lifetime of accidental paper cuts made by file folders.

Overall, this book was a really fun read and I’d love to see more of these characters, especially the hot twin sons of Brody’s jerk boss.

Epic banter, hilarious situations, and steamy chemistry abounds in this heartfelt romantic comedy!

I freaking love Brody! He's adorably, sometimes awkwardly charming while also being a sexy hunk of a man. All the embarrassing situations he finds himself in had me snort laughing out loud! Maggie is one hundred percent herself and owns it. She's charming and hard working and I want to be friends with her!

I absolutely love the mutual secret pining these two have! Their fake relationship starts with lots of tension and jabs at each other, but one thing leads to another and secrets are shared. Then we get the steam and spice! These two are electric together both in and out of the bedroom. I love how easily they form a bond. Yes, there's some trouble in paradise but it's resolved so perfectly. Be ready to laugh, swoon, and fan yourself!

ARC review.

Who doesn’t love a good fake dating, enemies to lovers, brothers best friend spicy Romance? That is exactly what you’ll get with Bridesmaid For Hire by Meghan Quinn.

Set in dreamy Bora Bora, wedding planner Maggie Mitchell is there in hopes of accomplishing two things; getting her mind off work and getting laid. What she’s not expecting is running into her brother’s best friend and her nemesis, Brody McFadden. In a bizarre twist of fate, they decide to team up in hopes of advancing their careers by impressing Reginald Hopper during his daughter Haisley’s week long wedding extravaganza. Can Maggie and Brody fake it til they make while sharing a one bed bungalow and pretending to be a happy couple?

Meghan Quinn does an excellent job of writing slow burn where the payoff is huge. Bridesmaid for Hire was both hot and hilarious. It kept me smiling and swooning the entire time.

I love how the Meghan Quinn Universe connects through all the books. Bridesmaid for Hire ties in with the Almond Bay series and you can catch a glimpse of Maggie and Brody in The Reason I Married Him. It’s always fun to catch all the Easter eggs and cameos.

If you’re looking for a rom-com with the perfect blend of sweet and spice, I’d recommend checking out Bridesmaid for Hire available April 2, 2024. Both the paperback and kindle version feature illustrations and the audiobook is duet narration by Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon. Say less 🫠
