This story grabbed me pretty quickly, and I found it easier to follow the characters than I did with book 2. I loved watching the sisters find their love interests even though it was established very early on who they would end up with. The Christmas aspect is perfect for reading in the leadup to the festive season, too.
I'd love a follow-up book as this one ended up with a bit of a bombshell.

MY THOUGHTS: First off, I haven't read either of the two previous books in the series, but that didn't negatively impact on my enjoyment at all. There is enough information given so that you know where everyone is at, but not so much that it is overwhelming.

Coming Home to Paradise is a charming small-town story that makes it clear that what we want in life isn't always what we need, and that when one door closes on our dream, another opens. We just need to be brave enough to recognize it for what it is and walk through it.

The spirit of Christmas clearly shines through in Coming Home to Paradise. There is a Christmas pageant, a Christmas parade and carol singing amongst other festivities. I would just love to see the Paradise homestead all decorated up, inside and out. It would be a sight to behold. I would love to be part of their family gatherings. For the Simmons's, family is everything.

This was a fun read. I loved the banter between the sisters, and the way they would run interference for one another when great-aunt Bernie got on the warpath, trying to dictate to the girls who they should be seeing and who they shouldn't get involved with. I admit to wondering occasionally if she was using reverse psychology on them!

Of course, you know when you pick up a Carolyn Brown book that you are inevitably going to get a happy-ever-after ending. The journey to get there was fun.

Cozy mysteries are a genre that I hold in high regard, and this third installment in the Sarah Vane series exemplifies the genre’s charm. The book features endearing characters, intricate mysteries with unexpected twists, and promises of further installments that solidify its place as one of my favorites.

Coming Home to Paradise is the 3rd book in the Sisters in Paradise series. There are seven Simmons sisters who were raised at The Paradise, a brothel turned into a home for their mother and her girls. The fifth sister to find her match, Endora, is planning her Christmas wedding to the local pastor. Rae and Bo, the last two sisters to find their match, are back in Spanish Fort, Texas for the wedding and the holidays. Endora doesn't want them to leave, so decides it is best to keep them busy. She enlists Rae to teach Sunday School, specifically a group of children including a pair of unruly twins. Handsome Sheriff Gunner is the single father of the girls and it doesn't take long for the attraction between him and Rae to come to light. Bo is talked into helping with the Christmas Pageant. She is also helping her Aunt Bernie with her new venture, a monthly speed-dating night, working with the handsome bartender, Maverick. They also have an attraction, but he is a wanderer and Bo is ready to settle down in Spanish Fort. Will these couples be able to get together for the Christmas holidays?

I really enjoy this series and the Simmons family. These sisters are all wonderful characters, loving and loyal sisters, all with a great sense of humor. Endora is trying to do it all being a future pastor's wife, but finally comes to realize that she can't and needs to ask others for help, thus Rae and Bo helping with the Sunday School and the Pageant. This book shares their love stories, although neither sister is looking to settle down. Rae has returned from several years trying to make it in Nashville, and Bo has been a cop for ten years in the city and is tired of it. Great Aunt Bernie is off on a cruise, so can't do her matchmaking, but she does tell Bo to stay away from Maverick, knowing that he has no intention of sticking around. This was a great story, with laughs, some exasperation, wonderful characters and a festive setting. There is a great Christmas surprise for all that occurs the night of the pageant that is wonderful and a perfect ending for this book. I hope we get more stories about the Simmons family.

This book really made me feel like I was watching a cozy Hallmark Christmas movie. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves the Hallmark Channel!

Gunner is a sheriff with two young daughters. He lost his wife years ago and now he’s ready to try dating again. Rae ends up being the teacher for Gunner’s kids and they realize that they have a lot in common. Can they blend their lives together to make a lasting relationship?

Bo went to Nashville to chase her dreams of being a professional singer. She came back home after 10 years with no idea what she’s going to do next. She would love to find a way to continue to sing but Spanish Fort is a small town, so she doesn’t know if it’s even possible. Maverick works at a local bar as the manager. He is a wanderer, so he knows he won’t be around long. He happens to be a pretty good musician. He wants to leave, she wants to stay. Can they find a way to blend their budding relationship and their love of music to make a happily ever after?

Let the Christmas spirit take over because all of the girls are back at The Paradise for the holiday! This is a feel-good small-town family romance. If you want a book that is full of nice people being nice then give this a try. I strongly recommend reading this series from the beginning. Each book is about two of the sisters and their love stories but there is also a little history of the family sprinkled in each book along with a whole bunch of their beloved Aunt Bernie (honestly, she’s kind of wasted in this book but I might be biased since I love her shenanigans). There’s a little twist at the very end which made me smile. I will definitely read more from this author in the future.

I have loved this series by Caroline Brown. I was excited for this book and even more excited to get an advanced reader copy. Following the 7 girls in the family getting married, starting families and careers have been fun.
I felt with this being the last book there was so much going on, trying to wrap it all up in a bow. That made this last book my least favorite. Despite that it was a lovely send off to so many characters in Paradise.

Last book of the series. Bo and Rae are the last of seven sister to find husbands. Their Aunt Bernie takes credit for finding husbands for all the girls. She hasn't found anyone yet for Bo and Rae but warn them to not get involved with Gunner and Maverick. So guess who they are attracted to. Sweet family Christmas romance.

Although I am sad to see this series end, Carolyn Brown gives the characters such a masterful send off that it softens the blow. Fans of her books and in particular this series, shouldn’t miss it.

Coming Home to Paradise is the third book in Carolyn Brown’s Sisters in Paradise series. In the first book of the series, Christmas in Paradise, all seven Simmons sisters have come home for the holidays, beginning with Thanksgiving. Also, their Great Aunt Bernie has moved back to the Paradise after decades of running her own honky tonk bar on the other side of the Red River. Bernie has come with her trailer and chihuahua Pepper and has the prime directive of seeing her great nieces matched to their perfect loves with weddings and children to come. In the second book, Sisters in Paradise, Aunt Bernie has made predictions for two of the girls for the year to come. And she isn’t wrong!

In this third book there are only two sisters still unmatched, but that only makes Aunt Bernie more determined. Unfortunately for twins Rae and Bo, Aunt Bernie is determined to match them as well but equally as determined to thwart the sisters from pursuing the men that interest them.

This story is set from mid fall through Christmas Day with some built in surprises until the very end. The characters are well drawn. The setting is described to perfection. And the story organically develops. I have very much enjoyed this book as well as the series and do recommend this book.

Coming Home to Paradise by Carolyn Brown is, sadly, the last book in this series, about seven daughters returning to the home of their youths, which turns out to be a refurbished bordello in a small town in Texas. The great-aunt Bernie lives in a trailer out back and has dedicated herself to finding husbands for each of the girls. So far she is five for seven with the fifth wedding schedule for March. But, before she can turn her sights to matchmaking for Bo and Rae, fraternal twins, she is going on a cruise with her friend. Panning to be back before Christmas, she can find them husbands then. Until then she has given strict orders that Bo not even look at Maverick, which is going to be hard as she has also assigned Bo to decorate and coordinate a meet and greet for elders in the bar in which he is the manager. She says he’s no good because he’s a wanderer who will leave and break her heart. She didn’t think that would be a problem until she saw him.

This has been such a fun series with Mary Jane (Mom) and Dad, Jo Clay, stepdad, really, Aunt Bernie, and all the sisters. They have problems but no so serious that they can’t make light of them and move on. They are bringing the town back to life. Bo has been working for Bernie who has a matchmaking service as well as an online advice column. She is looking forward to a few days on her own. Rae has spent the last ten years being a cop and she is done with that, despite the fact the chief has already offered her a job. These are all interesting women, not in a hurry to settle down until the right man appears. Surprising they are all here in small-town Texas. What a fun series this has been and this is a terrific finale. It even has a surprise at the end! Fun!

This is the first book I've read in the Sisters in Paradise series, so it took me a little while to figure out who was who. By the end of the book, I felt like part of the big, growing family. It's always nice to visit Texas again and soak up the local flavor. The twist at the end of the book makes me think there might be a spin-off series coming. 3.5 Stars. This is another classic Carolyn Brown. It's fun of down home quips, humor and romance. It was good to catch up with the characters from the previous books and see a couple more of the sisters find love.

Paradise is home to everyone. Everyone is family and there are no strangers. So many laughs and hoots. This story is absolutely sweet. I will say my favorite parts are with aunt Bernie. And boy does she mean business. Christmas is also my favorite time of year.So this is a perfect setting for this story.

You simply fall in love with each character. Each couple, the story is just perfect.

I haven't read a book by this author that I absolutely have not fallen in love with.

This is my second Carolyn Brown book and I connected with the other one much more. This was book #3 in a series but the only one I’ve read.

This book focuses on the two remaining single sisters out of 7 - Bo and Rae. They’ve recently come back home and are trying to find their new direction in life and their matchmaking aunt is trying to find their future husbands.

Much to Aunt Bernie’s distress, they find connections with the last men she would pick for them.

Overall, the book was cute enough but the style of writing was not for me. It was third person and characters were often talking out loud to themselves or to Aunt Bernie when she wasn’t around and then imagining her response. Just a strange way to move the story along.

I'm so sad that this is the last book in the Sisters in Paradise series, but alas, we must move on. This entire series makes you feel like a part of the Simmons family from beginning to end, and that's the perfect feeling to have when you love a series so much.

Rae and Bo are the last two sisters who aren't in a relationship, and that's just fine with them. They both came back to Spanish Fort, Texas, to figure out life and what they wanted for their futures. Life has a funny way of working out just as it should, which means catching you off guard sometimes.

Aunt Bernie is hell-bent on the two sisters not falling for Gunner, a local police chief and widowed father of a set of twin girls, and Maverick, the local bar manager who doesn't stay in one place for long. She failed to take into consideration what may happen while she's away on a cruise. Bernie has a way of making people think one thing and then taking the credit for how things work out even though she protests and makes her feelings known the entire time. She's a fun character and speaks her mind no matter what.

This series ends with a twist that I didn't see coming. Never, not once. I'm going to miss the Simmons family and Aunt Bernie. This has been such a fun series.

This is the part of the Sisters in Paradise series and can be read as a stand alone. Paradise is the name of the family home that once was an old brothel. Seven sisters were raised there and are now grown. It is time for the last sisters to get their romances. Rae is a former police officer and is contemplating a new career using her teaching license. She takes over her sister Endora’s Sunday School class and meets Gunner, a widower. Bo has returned from trying a singing career in Nashville. She meets Maverick, who is the bartender and manager of her aunt Bernie’s bar. Bernie asks Bo to oversee the business while she is away.

If you read the previous books like I have, you can catch up on the happenings of other family members. Wedding plans are in the making as well. These books are family centered and are closed door romances. It includes folksy wisdom, warm Texan y'alls and of course a little meddling from a matchmaking aunt. I find them enjoyable and like getting two romances in each book. I think they will delight fans of Carolyn Brown and new readers too.

I read this as an ARC on NetGalley. I love just about all of Carolyn Browns books, but this series has me hooked! From the crazy aunt and her little dog to the personalities of all of the sisters, I could not get enough. Love, laughter and family are the theme of this book! Excellent read!
