The final two sisters out of seven have returned home. Both are trying to discover a new direction in their lives. Rae an ex cop and Bo who had hopes of launching into a singing career in Nashville. Plus there are the ongoing stories of the other five sisters and let’s not forget Aunt Bernie! Rae backup plan is in early childhood education and puts it to use as a bible school teacher when she meets twins that are more than a handful. Being a twin herself and having sisters who also are twins, she definitely has an inside of the tricks they will try to pull. And when she meets their widowed father there is magic in the air.
Bo is grateful to be working for Aunt Bernie, even though she is driving her nuts with her matchmaking warning to stay away from Maverick, the new bar manager a town over. Not sure if it’s true or reverse psychology but sure is a good looking man.
Love this sweet small town story with the Christmas spirit! Do read the other two books, they are all clean romances with family values and a busybody Aunt Bernie.
Thank for this ARC, all opinions expressed are my own.
Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this advance copy. My opinions are my own. This is the 3rd novel in the Sisters in Paradise series. I inadvertently missed the 2nd one and read them out of order. I feel you are able to read as a standalone but they're better in order. This is the final installment of the seven sisters who were brought up in an old brothel in Texas. Bo and Rae return home and have yet to find their forever person. Aunt Bernie, who fancies herself a matchmaker is determined that she's going to find their perfect match. Regardless of her success, she always takes credit. It's a delightful holiday at the brothel with the entire family. Carolyn Brown is a master storyteller and this one should not be missed. I really enjoyed it.
Coming Home To Paradise is another small town romance by Carolyn Brown. The latest book in the series has Aunt Bernie trying to keep the last two of her nieces from getting involved with men whom she feels are the wrong choices for them . Bo and Rae both find them falling for the new men in their lives anyhow.
This is a cute holiday romance that is full of new beginnings, new romances and all the love and headaches of big families.
Thank you NetGalley and publisher for a copy for my honest opinion.
Endora wants her twin sisters Bo and Rae to find love the way she has and so does their aunt. This is, however more about sisterly love and life in a. small town than it is romance-although there's a heavy happy amount of that as well. This is an easy reading heart warmer. Thanks to netgalley for the ARC. Don't worry if you missed the earlier books- this will be just fine as a standalone.
I love all Carolyn Brown books, and this is a wonderful story about sisters. great story and characters.
Talk about an awesome cliff hanger. I've never read one like this because it was so unexpected. I am grateful for it because it means that the series is not done yet. I loved reading, Coming Home to Paradise. Another set of twins find their love partners at the same time. It is cool because they are there for each other to bounce problems off each other.
Bo and Rae are the last of the Simmons sisters to find love. Will Aunt Bernie, the matchmaker work her magic to find them a mate or will they do it on their own. Once again the author wrote a family romance with lots of shenanigans to make you laugh. A great finale to the series although I would have liked a more definitive ending. All in all another wonderful series from the queen of Southern romances .
Although I received a free ARC from Net Galley and the publisher the opinions expressed in my review are all mine.
Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Bo and Rae are both single and like it that away. Their aunt is known for her matchmaking and has some ideas. I liked this book.
Coming Home to Paradise by Carolyn Brown has the sisters nearby each other for Christmas. Endora Simmons is planning her wedding, she hopes two of her sisters Bo, and Rae will help her. She has found a great love with Parker, a pastor. Even more than helping with the wedding she secretly hopes the twins will find lasting love too. This is as much Rae’s story as it is the wedding story. She falls for another set of mischievous twin girls, long before she fall for their widowed father. A lovely story of how sometimes life can repeat itself.
Carolyn Brown knows her character sisters as well as writing realistic, sassy stories about them. Part of the Paradise Series but you can enjoy Coming Home to Paradise without having read the entire series yet.
Carolyn Brown is a wonderful writer, I love all the books I have read from her.
She has a great sense of humor that she writes into her books but yet a warm and comforting read.
Another great story from Carolyn Brown! This is the final installment on The Paradise trilogy and it definitely didn’t disappoint, although I hated to see this story end.
Thank you NetGalley for the early ebook of this book. I enjoyed the third book in this series. Endora is planning her upcoming marriage to Parker. Rae and Bo will be the last sisters not married. Their Aunt Bernie has warned them against their new love interests. However, they are both going against their aunts advice. So, will these two end up with their happily ever after? You will need to read the story to find out. I loved this nice clean romance.
Rae and Bo, the last of the twin sisters, have returned to Spanish Fort. Endora is still at home, busy with plans for her spring wedding to Parker, the pastor. Rae, a former police officer, is uncertain about resuming her law enforcement career. Holding a teaching license, she contemplates becoming a teacher. Rae inherits Endora's Sunday School class and learns she'll be teaching a pair of mischievous twin girls. Their widowed father, Gunner, struggles to keep up with the energetic seven-year-olds.
Bo has given up on her singing aspirations after a decade in Nashville. She encounters Maverick, the new manager and bartender, and there's an instant connection, although he's known for his wandering lifestyle. Aunt Bernie, who's on a cruise, entrusts her business to Bo but cautions her against getting involved with Maverick.
With Christmas approaching, the Paradise is being festively decorated, requiring everyone's participation. Gunner and Maverick are enlisted to assist with the preparations.
Endora, overwhelmed by the thought of a spring wedding and her future role as a minister's wife, opts for a surprise wedding immediately following the church's Christmas program, orchestrated with Rae and Bo's assistance.
This book offers another charming glimpse into the lives of the Paradise family, showcasing Carolyn Brown's exceptional storytelling.
I so enjoyed reading this story about the 7 sisters. They have a happy family life that makes you feel good. Celebrating Christmas and a surprise or two made it even better. I highly recommend this book. I received an advanced reader copy of this book, and this is my honest opinion.
Loved reading this book and series. 1 of my favorite authors. I suggest reading her. I couldn't put the book down. Looking forward to more books in this series
I am a huge fan of this author’s work. I loved how this tied in with previous books and characters of hers. I would recommend reading this book to anyone.
As always I enjoyed this holiday story by Carolyn Brown. I look forward to her holiday story every year. A beautiful setting with realistic characters.
Wonderful story. Carolyn Brown writes clean, enjoyable stories that are delightful.
It's one of those books you can't put down once you start reading it.
Her characters actually come to life, have depth and personality.
It's like the relationship you might want to have with your neighbor.
I'm loving this author's books so much!
This is definitely a can't put down book and one that will make you feel right at home.
I loved how this book will help make you get into the Christmas spirit. If you're not already of course.
I'm giving this story 5 stars for keeping me engaged with these family member's lives. I've really enjoyed in getting to know them.
This book will also make you drool over the fine meals that they had. Oh my I could really envision everyone sitting around the table and enjoying their food.
I loved every minute of this book.
The family dynamics are what kept me turning the pages. The author has done well in making these characters realistic.
I received a free copy of, Coming Home to Paradise, by Carolyn Brown, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is book three of three in The Sisters in Paradise series. Endora Simmons is planning her wedding, she is at such a good place in her life and she hopes two of her sisters Bo, and Rae will help her, and maybe find their own love interests. Such a nice story, I liked the characters.
