epically fun thriller with some super super good ideas. tysm for the arc, worth a recommendation and an ensorsement

She’s done it again! Every time I read this author I think ‘this is my favourite of her books’, then she writes a new one and it becomes my favourite! I picked this up on a Sunday morning and didn’t put it down until I’d finished it, even reading while I was cooking dinner and doing laundry as it was such a gripping tale. The author’s writing style hooks you in and all her books have believable characters and storylines, and again this is a must read psychological thriller of a book with twists and turns you can’t predict, with love, betrayal, secrets revealed and a murder!

I’m a sucker for a good old domestic thriller - and my worst nightmare is the lies and deceit between an husband and a friend!! So this ticked many boxes for me!
Really great read and I will add any I haven’t read to my list!

Just when I think there's a book that I'm not going to like by A.J. she throws a twist in to make me take back that thought. A.J. is the queen of turning calm into chaos in her storylines. EVERY. TIME.

Oooh, this was a twisty whodunnit! AJ’s books are always twisty and fun to read, My Perfect Marriage did not disappoint!

This is the first book that I have read by this author and wont be my last. I love a book that has short chapters so a huge plus for me. This book started off excellent, the first couple of pages grabbed me straight away. Highly recommend.

What a twisty read! This was quite a page turner that was full of twists galore. I wasn’t able to figure anything out.

Fantastic read as always from this Author! I was did she? Or didn't she? The twists and turns keep you glued to the book, so much so I read it too quickly and then it was over!

My Perfect Marriage is quite the perfect story. It is fast paced, with plenty of twists and turns and had an fantastic ending that I did not see coming at all. I highly recommend it.

Although it's unlike the books I typically read, "My Perfect Marriage" by A.J. Campbell is a cleverly crafted story that feels surprisingly relatable. It's a great read that many could imagine unfolding in their own lives.

WoW what have I just read!!! Breath!

This book is a brilliant psychological thriller: with domestic and suspense thrown in, which will keep you on your toes.

This book had me hooked from the beginning till the very end and ended up stuck in my chair all day reading it! With small breaks to make a coffee etc.


I highly recommend this book especially as they are a new author to me and will be looking out for her books in the coming future! Brilliant!

My second book by AJ Campbell and this one certainly entertained with a fast-moving plot that kept me reading right into the night.

I really enjoyed my first outing with A.J. Campbell!
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Eilidh Beaton, and absolutely loved her narration. I couldn't stop listening, she is definitely a narrator I would happily listen to again!
The book starts with immediate tension and this fast pace continues through. There is plenty of drama to keep you reading, as Ashley finds out more about her husband and the suspicion around him escalates.
I highly recommend listening to the audiobook, I listened in 2 days.

Previously titled 'How Can I Trust You', 'My Perfect Marriage' is a perfectly decent psychological thriller.

The plot is based on a woman, Anna, who is living her best rural life with husband Danny and son, Elliot, when tragedy strikes - new best friend, Lucy, is brutally murdered at her daughter's birthday party - through Anna's narrative we experience the utter horror and devastation that comes from discovering her husband hovering over the corpse holding the murder weapon!! Yikes?! Is all as it seems?! Of course not!! Danny proclaims his innocence, but Anna finds herself exploring all avenues using her amateur detective skills before the truth is revealed in all its shocking splendour!

This is a very decent standalone thriller, maybe a little slow-burn for my tastes, but for many readers I have no doubt this will tick all the boxes!!

I have been fortunate enough to read other AJ Campbell novels and this one did not disappoint. She has become an author that I jump at the chance to read whenever she has a new release. If you haven’t read her before, this is a good story to get you hooked on her.

AJ Campbell, narrates a wild ride filled with characters you will love to hate. This book is dark! I was completely consumed as soon as I concluded the first chapter. There was no shortage of twists and turns and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The twist was insane and unpredictable!

I can not wait to see what Campbell comes out with next! My Perfect Marriage, is currently free on kindle unlimited and I strongly encourage you to purchase this book! Happy reading, folks!
