Thank you NetGalley and Joffe Books for the eARC.
This is the first in a new series featuring Detective Hadley Sharpe.
It's a decent, suspenseful book, but nothing special. I've read quite a few books by the author that were better than this. Hadley is ok, his sidekick quite naive and the main female character, Chloe, devious. All in all an ok read.
This was an adventure packed story to keep you reading. It's full of action
and has all the twists and turns included to the end of the book.
Have read other books by her and recommend this one
Given arc by Net Galley and Joffe for my voluntary review
Great start to a new series!! This is Detective Hedley Sharpe new series and it started with a good one!
Day one, Chloe Todd thinks her baby is sleeping in her stroller in the garden but when she checks on her she's gone!
Day 2, Hedley Sharpe is called to a murder scene the victim was shot in the head!
Day 3, A second body is found in the same location as the first, just next door, again single bullet to the head! But this body hasn't been there long!
Hedley Sharpe doesn't believe in coincidence these two murders must be linked! He then uncovers a connection to the young mother Chloe Todd and that's where things take on a few crazy twists! Great start to a new series! Highly recommend! Can't wait for more! Thank you Netgalley and Joffe books for sharing this book with me!
