Requested this solely based on the cover, so kudos on that. I love the cover so so much.

This didn't really pull me in, but I was invested enough to finish it, which always warrants at least 3 stars from me!

Fun premise, needed more chemistry

I stopped and started this book multiple times. I think the premise is a good one, but I couldn't connect to the main character.

I thought their "meet-cute" with the flat tire was sort of cliche and I maybe needed more depth to feel invested to continue reading.

This story would be a good one for those who like love at first sight romances and for main characters to have a second family/mentor plot.

Thank you NetGalley and Harper Collins UK One More Chapter for an e-copy of ONE BED to review.

I rate ONE BED two out of five stars.

Loved the setting, storyline, and the cast of characters that surrounded the main characters of Bea and Gib. There was a good story and definitely some spice that should be a part of every sound relationship. I really enjoyed this book.

A charming romantic comedy. Bea an introverted author heads to Greece to help organise her flamboyant god mother/agents 70th birthday. Little does Bea know Golly has other ideas and fails to mention that the cottage Bea has always stayed in has another guest. A fantastic read in a beautiful setting.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a cute read! Bea Williams is an introverted author who is helping her aunt/Godmother, Golly, to celebrate her 70th birthday and retirement at her private home on Santorini in Greece. Golly has been Bea's agent on her successful book venture, where she goes by the pseudonym of Parker Kane. Despite the book series raging success, Bea is afraid to leave her pseudonym behind because her family history is anything but stellar. Amid planning Golly's shindig and trying to figure out how to move forward with her career knowing Golly won't be representing her anymore and being fearful of letting any new agent know her true identify, Bea finds herself in quite the predicament. Golly has double booked the cottage that Bea always stays in to none other than Gib, who she shared a room with at the Villa when they were kids. But, they aren't kids anymore...

Tensions rise and so does the romance between these two. But, Gib has his own family issues to work through and can't figure out how to open up. Bea, after being a doormat her whole life, decides that despite her growing feelings for Gib, she has to take charge of her life. But, after their time together, both are finding it much harder to live without each other than they ever thought it would be.

My favorite part of this whole book was the setting. I now want to go to Greece!

This was a cute little romance that was an enjoyable read. It was perfect for a rainy day!

One Bed by Joss is a charming romantic comedy set on the stunning island of Santorini. Bea, struggling with writer’s block, plans to escape to her godmother’s cozy one-bedroom cottage, only to find she must share it with her childhood friend, Gibson. As they navigate old tensions and undeniable chemistry, Bea finds herself caught between her writing and a growing attraction. A fun, lighthearted read perfect for fans of slow-burn romance with a touch of humor.

Thank you @NetGalley and @HarperCollinsUK for the ARC. I really enjoyed this book. It was filled with humor and passion. Bea is trying to give her Godmother the best retirement/birthday party ever. Her Godmother wants to make sure Bea has someone to support her in the changes that are coming. Gib just wants a vacation and quiet. Unfortunately Gib and Bea are put in the same cottage with only one bed. Can two people find what. they both need, even if it is not what they thought they wanted?

One Bed by Joss Wood delivers a classic forced-proximity romance in a dreamy Santorini setting. Childhood acquaintances Bea and Gibson find themselves booked into the same cottage—with, of course, just one bed. The setup is fun, and their chemistry is solid, but the story takes a while to pick up steam.

While the tension between Bea and Gibson is enjoyable, the slow start makes it tough to get fully invested at first. The writing is strong, but keeping track of the characters early on can be a bit of a challenge. Bea’s godmother, Golly, adds some humor, though at times, the side characters feel like they take up too much space in the story.

If you enjoy slow-burn romances in a beautiful setting with a touch of meddling matchmaker energy, this might be a great fit. But if you prefer a faster-paced plot with fewer distractions, this one may not be the most engaging read.

I fell immediately in love with Gib. I love his description. I could really relate to Bea. There were times whilst reading that I wanted to reach out and hug her. Everything will be ok in the end dear. This book is fun and light. Perfect to read whilst on vacation, or reading at home wishing that you are actually on vacation. This is my first book by this author, but I will be checking out other books.

Who wouldn’t love to sort out their writers block in one of the most gorgeous settings on this planet?! Add in the gorgeous man and just one bed, I think I’ll stay for a while.

I found this a bit slow to start with and found myself struggling to remember which character was which or build a vision of a character in my mind but I'm glad I stuck with it. It soon picked and I loved the different relationships between the characters.

I often have a few books on the go at the same time which is why I sometimes struggle with the plots but found once through the first few chapters, I easily fell back into the story each time I picked it up.

The main character Bea reconnects with the brooding Gib later in life having crossed paths as kids and both realise the other might have a few skeletons in their closets and in fact may not be the same people they thought they were from years ago. Coupled with Bea's outrageous godmother Golly to keep them on their toes, this is a light hearted easy rom-com.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book!

Everyone loves a good One Bed trope and with a title like that - you know you are in for a fun ride! From childhood crushes to present day heat, this was a fun light-hearted read. The characters were fun to read on and who doesn't love a backdrop like Greece! Easy to read and cleansing for the soul.

Bea and Gibson meet in Greece, both promised the same cottage to stay in, with only one bed. Will a meddling matchmaker bring them together? I liked how it was told from both points of view.

This was fun for what it was, unfortunately I didn't very much connect with either character nor did I feel drawn to them much so I wasn't completely invested in this one.
