My guess for the killer was incorrect, what a crazy surprise! Love this new character as well and am excited for the next book in the series with her. Recommend highly!

Ooo ooh Skin Deep is the first book in the new Detective Marcy Kendrick series! It was a fantastic thriller!! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one! I moving on to book two immediately!
Detective Kendrick is a cop with a body count! She's in the LAPD homicide department and is infamous for killing 3 serial killers before they could be brought to trial! Marcy knows her actions were in self defense but her co workers are wondering if she's on some kind vendetta because her own mother was brutally murdered by a serial killer when she was just 10! Is this some kind of pay back?! Adding to everything else her ex husband has just been promoted, over her! And is all over her case seemingly trying to get her fired! This newest serial killer has the same MO as the man who murdered her mother! Can it be the same killer?! Everyone says no he was killed! But there was never a body!! Marcy is on the case! As long as she can stay away from her ex and the eye of this new serial killer!! I highly recommend reading this book and series! It was a fantastic read! Can't wait for more in this series!
