Although I would consider this to be more of a book of observation verses joke book, I was entertained and smiled a bit.

Though the title says it is not a novel, I didn't expect the book to be such sort saying but I have to say I did enjoy it. So many made me smile and laugh outloud. Such a variety of topics, situations, comparisons, etc. If you are looking for something to bring a smile to your face and have limited time or just want to pick up something to read a few pages this is your book.

This is a Collection of sayings. I enjoyed reading this book, but I did not find this book funny. I found this book a good collection of sayings you hear throughout life nothing super. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

Life is a Joke and It Ain't Even Funny - Not a Novel by Riya Aarini really brightened my afternoon. It's a quick read, a fun read, a wonderful bundle of random that I defy anyone not to find at least a chuckle or two within. If not a chuckle then a healthy dollop of relatability!

A lovely catalogue of daily observations that are guaranteed to bring at least a smile if not a honking great big laugh (the uggo type, in the cafe, which caused slight embarassment - js)

This book is exactly what it says it is, no more, no less. It's short and easy to read, and it's pretty much one person's random thoughts. If you want something to take your mind off serious things, where you can maybe get a chuckle and not have to think, you should read this. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

Take note of the title: This is not a novel or a set of essays. That said, it's a fun little book with observations the author made through the day.
I think you'll find many little insights that you also might have thought, but never thought to compile into a book. You could pick this up anytime you need a little lift. It would also be a great gift.

Fun and often insightful observations which will trigger a thought and/or a smile for anyone who dips into this book. This is the sort of book which makes a great gift as you can lick through it and find something to suit any occasion.

As someone going through a rough period in their life this book couldn't come at a better moment! Will share much more thoughts soon!
