This is a Children's book that I read to my twin boys. I found this book to be just ok. The book shows patterns while they are on their way to Grandma's house. I do not think it really holds my kids attention. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

This board book about patterns is super sweet, short, and fun to read.

The most important part of the story, in my opinion, is the note to parents and caregivers on the first page. It encourages adults to practice finding patterns in their everyday lives with their kiddos, with fantastic examples of how easily this can be done. I'm always here for a kid's book that helps teach grown-ups too! I would highly recommend purchasing this book for kids ages 1 to 2 as a simple way to introduce this early math concept.

While I haven't read the rest, Yellow, Red, Green -- GO! is part of a board book series called Small Talk Books® filled with stories focused on different early math concepts. If you like this one, check out the others!

(Bonus: the book is in both English and Spanish)

Thank you, NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

This book sends a great message with patterns of the traffic light (Yellow, Red, Green). It has predictability which is great for young learners. the illustrations are also beautifully done while not being overly stimulating.

A very decent book for very decent – and very young – audiences. This shows a child learning about the patterned routine of the traffic lights (well, the American one, which is of course more simplified than the British) and then other patterns that it and its mother spot on their bike ride to gran's. A lot of the time we can get clues to better them, though, for we see written on the page the onomatopoeia of heard patterns, too, so in our advancement to better awareness of patterns we might even be beyond the junior character. It's simple, it's colourful and it's a lesson that nobody could really find objectionable. And a second edition is Spanish/English, too. A strong four stars.
