A big thank you to NetGalley and Adams Media for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I was a bit disappointed as I was expecting simple easy receipes. This is not that book. I live in a pretty remote area and I don't have access to many of the ingredients used in the receipes. I thought there would be a basic section and then more complex-but that was not the case. So for me this wasn't very useful. I am sure many will enjoy. 3 stars
I am always looking for new recipes to use my AirFryer, and The "I Love My Air Fryer" Easy Recipes cookbook does a great job of providing some new things to try. Recipes are easy, without tons of steps, and are easy to follow. If you have an air fryer but aren't quite sure what you want to make, this is a great place to start.
I love making and trying out new and different recipes in my air fryer so I was really excited to give this cookbook a go. I even made a few recipes featured in it and was impressed with how delicious the food I made turned out. Many of these recipes look so delicious and are made with simple ingredients. I think a lot of people will enjoy this cookbook as much as I did! It was so fun trying out a few recipes from it!
Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I already loved my air fryer but this book was a great tool to help me expand my recipes that are fast, easy, healthy, and filling.
I was interested to read this as a rather late to the party purchaser of an air fryer. Sadly this left me rather underwhelmed and there is nothing I feel the need to rush to make.
This is an amazing book. I love cooking so such catalogues are so helpful to try new dishes. However, most of the recipes I have tried already being vegetarian (with Egg, so call me Eggetarian) which obviously limited me to a section of this book but even that is worth.
This saves me from deep frying snacks.
My favorites from the book are:
Espresso Cream Cheese Danish
Blueberry Bread Pudding
Crispy Fried Burrata
Chili Lime Crunchy Chickpeas
Crispy Lemon Broccoli
But what amazes me most is the Nutrition Facts on what we are having if we go with mentioned given recipes. I mean, how much carbs, how much fiber, etc.. This makes this recipe book very fine.
I am always on the lookout for new and easy cookbooks to help our busy life. We have grown to love our own air fryer and this book is just what I needed to get creative. This book gives recipes that are done in under thirty minutes, very few steps and few ingredients. The recipes are for breakfast, dinner and everything in between. The recipes are detailed with easy to follow steps and a highlighted list of ingredients that makes every recipe easy for even beginner cooks. I found my favorites to try; Avocado Fries, Mini Meatloaves and Air-fried Trout. This will quickly become your go to book for air fryer cooking and easy meals to keep your busy family fed.
Solid book of easy recipes using your Air Fryer! This book has a good range of recipes to pick from, and clear directions for cooking. I just wish there were more photos!
Thank you Netgalley and Adams Media for the ARC!
One of my favourite things is my air fryer. I am always looking for simple recipes as I’m not a big make y own dinner kind of girl, so these are perfect for me. I can’t wait to make some of the recipes in here like the French toast and the breakfast pigs in the blanket.
I was sad there wasn’t a lot of pictures as they make me want to make all the foods!
Thank you to NetGalley, Adam’s Media and the author for the chance to read the eARC for an honest review of the book.
Special thanks to Netgalley and Adams Media for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was helpful, the recipes were fun (and for the most part super easy)! I just wish that there were more photos of the actual recipes in the book
I love cooking with my air fryer, and easy recipes for a busy week sounds perfect. There were a few recipes that sounded good; falafel, easy fried plantains, Chile lime elotes, and caprese chicken. But overall the recipes were very basic, too basic. You probably have already made a lot of these dishes if you have an air fryer and Pinterest. This cookbook missed the personal details, tricks and stories that are in a lot if my favorite cookbooks. They didn’t allow the author to add in any voice or creativity. The thing I really disliked is the lack of pictures, there was only maybe 1 photo for every 5 recipes. A few really simple ideas, but overall not a book you would use frequently.
Thank you Adams Miedia for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
I recieved a copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley.
I have not long bought an airfryer and wondered what all the hype is about and the fact there have been many cookbooks written, social media is full of tips as well as TV programmes.
The author clearly understands this type of cooking and the recipes are really easy to follow, although there is a lot of detail re calories etc there are few photographs - which I would like to have. The food that is photographed is well set out but in the days of Instagram - photographs for me were lacking.
A good start for someone starting out with an air fryer- maybe at sometime this will be updated with photographs.
The "I Love My Air Fryer" Easy Recipes Book is a very well written and curated recipe collection by Robin Fields. Released 23rd April 2024 by Simon & Schuster on their Adams Media imprint, it's 224 pages and is available in paperback and ebook formats. It's worth noting that the ebook format has a handy interactive table of contents as well as interactive links and references throughout.
This is part of the "I love my" cookbook series and shares a format with the other volumes. For readers already familiar with the format, the information and recipes here are arranged the same way (making it easy to find and access the info).
A short introduction covers techniques for using and getting the most from the air fryer. The recipes are arranged thematically: breakfasts, appetizers & snacks, side dishes, chicken main dishes, beef & pork, fish & seafood, vegetarian, and desserts.
The recipes are varied and appetizing and are not fancy, fussy, or difficult. They're everyday comfort family food and will find a welcome place in the family kitchen. The recipes are provided with an introduction and information/background followed by an ingredients list in bullet form. Ingredients are listed with imperial (American) standard measurements only. There is a conversion chart in the back of the book. None of the ingredients will be difficult to source at a moderately well stocked grocery store anywhere in North America.
Nutritional info: calories, fat, sodium, carbs, fiber, sugar, and proteins are listed in the recipes. Some convenience/premade ingredients are used in the recipes such as worcestershire sauce, premade pie crust, and puff pastry sheets.
The book is not abundantly photographed; roughly 20-25% of the recipes are accompanied by a photograph. Serving suggestions are appetizing and appropriate. The food which is photographed is professionally styled. This is a well written cookbook with tasty recipes and fits into its niche in the series very well.
Four stars. It would be an excellent choice for public library acquisition, home kitchen use, or gift giving (a housewarming gift bundled with some kitchen tools, perhaps).
Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.
The "I Love My Air Fryer" Easy Recipes Book by Robin Fields is filled with some wonderful recipes, with easy to follow instructions, and many that sound delicious and easy to make.
I can’t wait to put some of these wash recipes to use!

Robin Fields' "The 'I Love My Air Fryer' Easy Recipes Book" is a versatile and user-friendly resource packed with 175 delicious recipes for air frying enthusiasts. From baked oatmeal to fried Oreos, Fields offers straightforward instructions perfect for both beginners and seasoned cooks.(I received an advance reader copy of this book, and all opinions are my own.)With its wide range of dishes and health-conscious approach, this book is sure to become a kitchen staple for anyone looking to create tasty meals with ease.
I got an air fryer some while ago and was keen to learn how to utilize it. Therefore I thought this cookbook would be a perfect beginner’s guide.
As a Norwegian I found some of the recipes a bit odd, but otherwise I thought this book was a solid intro to air frying. I liked that all the recipes were easy to prepare and were cooked in a maximum of fifteen minutes. On a busy day these meals are a life saver, as it takes little time both to prepare and cook. I also liked that the author lists the nutrition facts so you know how much calories, sugar, sodium, fats etc. each portion contains. Sometimes the author even mentions how much a portion is meant to be, so you’re never wondering.
Furthermore the author comes with explanations and tips throughout the book, which I found very useful. If you don’t have an ingredient or are looking for variation that’s also included as tips in several of the recipes. To avoid food spill, the author mentions how long the dish lasts in the fridge or comes with tips for freezing.
Before any of the recipes are introduced Fields explains all the different air frying accessories, their purpose is and temperature and time on different air fryers. The actual book is parted in chapters for breakfast, appetizers and snacks, side dishes, chicken main dishes, beef and pork main dishes, fish and seafood main dishes, vegetarian main dishes and desserts. You’re sure to find something in every chapter worth trying out! At the end of the book there’s even a conversion cart between US and metric measures. Perfect for an European like me.
All in all a great cookbook if you’re looking for quick and effortless recipes to try in your air fryer.
I do indeed love my air fryer, and loved getting to sample the recipes in this book, and am very excited to try more! This has such a great range of all sorts of options that it will no doubt have something for everyone. The recipes are easy to follow, delicious, and usually based on readily-available ingredients. The pictures are gorgeous as well! I can't wait to dig more into this.
I love my airfryer for sure! And this book will help me to get more out of it, so many amazing recipes that I cannot wait to try.
I found a few interesting recipes that I'm going to try. Not my favourite air fryer recipe book, but a solid one nonetheless.
