I am sorry I DNFed it. cant finish the book. This is not the right book for me and I wont post this in Goodreads or Amazon as it has a negative rating.

Nancy Horan is one of the best writers in my opinion - her words flow together seamlessly, so that it is almost like reading poetry. Her ability to portray her characters as full-fleshed, well-rounded individuals make it seem like they are living beings in the room with you. This was a wonderful book and I highly recommend it!

Such great elements of greatness in this story but for some reason I didn't connect with it.

I was really interested in this title, as love stories between famous people are often interesting. However, as I got into this one, I felt no real interest with Fanny, and then, when Bob was introduced, I was even more put off. The idea of having to read more about these two characters I didn't really like just didn't excite me. So I abandoned the story. Fans of historical romance, and anyone who enjoys a based-on-real-people love stories would likely enjoy it more than I did.
