Overall a good book on the different types of love. The book was really engaging to me at first and then seemed to be a little repetitive. Not one of those I’ll remember this forever books but at the same time has good information.
Lazy Love by Keion Henderson, pastor of Lighthouse Church in Houston, explores why we often struggle with loving others well. He points out that we tend to take people for granted, make assumptions, and forget to show our love, which he calls "lazy love."
Henderson explains the four kinds of love mentioned in the Bible: eros (romantic love), phileo (friendship love), storge (family love), and agape (spiritual love). He shows how each type of love affects our relationships and our lives. He also talks about the bad habits that can damage our relationships and gives advice on how to break free from these patterns.
Lazy Love is not just about pointing out our flaws but also about offering hope and solutions. Henderson provides practical tips to help readers improve their relationships with partners, children, friends, coworkers, and neighbors. He believes that by putting in effort, we can learn to love better and find the deep, fulfilling connections we all desire.
This book is essential for anyone seeking to strengthen their capacity to love and be loved. Henderson's clear and compassionate guidance helps readers move beyond lazy love toward a more deliberate and meaningful way of relating to others.
This book is one of my favorite reads of 2024.
Lazy Love is going to be an essential part of developing relationships for the future. I am awestruck with the detailed explanation and parallel of personal experience Pastor Keion shared. My foregoing outlook on love will be impressed upon by this bountiful teaching and read. I will share it with my spouse, my friends, and even my youthful nieces and nephews. I wish for everyone in my circle to read this book, as we will all have a greater, richer understanding of love, love language, God's love, levels of love and cultivating a rich love life in all of spheres of our relationships. Pastor Keion has served up some real food for having a healthy love life in this book!

Thank you so much to netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this special book in exchange for an honest review.
I thoroughly enjoyed this read by Pastor Keion and constantly felt inspired to reach out to loved ones or share screen shots from the book that touched my heart. - the true mark of a good book is one that urges you to search your heart.
Lazy love outlines the 4 types of love: agape, phileo, storage and Eros. It thoroughly describes each one and how it pertains to not only scripture & the trinity, but also how it may look (or not look)in your life.
I will definitely be purchasing this book for not only my husband and I, but also to share with friends.
Lazy love is one of the most poignantly written books on intentionally learning how to recognize, give, and receive love in its many facets. It’s written with relatable and transparent concepts that compel you to seamlessly create a new consciousness of love.
